This is so catchy it's not even funny, but then it does a full circle and it's funny again.

That catchy.

I'm looking for more tunes like this one:

Can anyone recommend some? I know that tune is basically trance combined with some other genre; I'm looking for tunes that have a similar beat to that one but I guess I wouldn't mind some trance tunes or artists similar to that track.

I love alot of electronic music. Not so much a fan of modern electronic music like Dubstep (though I don't hate it either). I mainly prefer the kind of stuff from the 80s and 90s like Synthpop, House, Drum and Bass, Oldskool Jungle, Big-Beat, Electronica and Trance. Of course right now I have a huge interest in 90s Big-Beat, mainly associated with artists like The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim. Love those guys.

Just found this golden Trap track called 'I Wanna be high' By Phantasma.

Can be found on Soundcloud, I didn't like Trap before this but now I'm hooked on it.

Me too man. Love all those genres. I've had the pleasure to see Fatboy Slim live in 2004. I wasn't the biggest fan but man he was amazing live. I also got to see the Chemical Brothers for free actually in 2005/6 but I don't remember much except these green lasers shooting out from the stage over the crowd. I remember it being very loud. Other than that pills make me forget haha.

There's quite a big audience for electronic music with female vocals, especially with dubstep. I guess it's a case of opposites complementing eachother. Deep bass and a high pitched soft female voice. Because of this there's a lot of sh*tty dubstep remixes that only utilize a small portion of an original song with female vocals and the rest of the track doesn't sound anything like the original. Electronic artists need female voices for their tracks and I think there is more demand than supply.

Anyway, this girl found the opportunity. She's called Veela and she's sort of a "rent a voice" singer. I do believe she has a few of her own songs (one's without any other artists) but most of her songs are collaborations with electronic artists. Check the SoundCloud search for veela, it's crazy.

Oh yeah, she can sing too.

Nice dark Techno mix here which is pretty chilled and dark if anyone is interested.

Also, having a having a listen to this classic album right now, baked. It's essential listening. It's really upbeat, hugely atmospheric and quite rhythmic as far as Ambient music goes. The least ambient track would be the straight funky track would be Ptolemy at 48mins or thereabouts. Love it! biggrin.gif It's great entry-level Aphex Twin for people just looking to get in to that easier listening side and prefer less glitchy AFX and like to enjoy melody and ambience.

I listened to the previews and 'Giorgio by Moroder' is definitely the crown jewel of the album.
