Ever considered a HoF?

@ anuj - I think only 5-10 people should be allowed in each year, maximum. No more than 10 would be acceptable I think. I mean, sports halls of fame only let in 5 annually, and some years there aren't even people who get enough votes. Also it should require that an exact number of votes be necessary to get in, not just 51% of the committee. Let's say in theory there were 9 committee members, for discussion purposes. 5 shouldn't be enough. It should require 6 or perhaps even 7 votes of the 9 to allow someone in. Otherwise, their name stays on the list until next year- just like in a true HoF.
I also agree with most of what you say noojer. They should be finicky people who are also fiercely loyal and committed to the purpose behind this. Not just people who want a chance to vote in the most elite of popularity contests. That would cheapen the entire effort, I think. And yes...the first set of inductees must be the gold standard.

|Good idea 40. Definitely a good idea. Every once in a while something like this comes along and jolts the social part of the forums. We had gangs, then we made official gang races. Then we had things like the pit. Network IRC. Now this. Especially good in time periods in between games. I approve|
Well, Diane, it's good that we have your permission now. I feared the entire idea would be doomed without your loving support.
