We firstly want thank you hard for the support which you have given us up to now!
But unfortunately there wasn't very much news or screens the last time about the mod, but this has a good reason!
Because we discussed alot the last time, but this has brought us to the BIG conclusions we made, one of the things
is that we changed our name, but there's alot more...

We changed our old name "Las Colinas & Yake Island" to "Las Colinas States". We've done this because the old name was way to long for a mod and didn't
sound very well, i also getted some responses they didn't found the old name good

We got now a new way "how to work" with the crew, we got now a complete site with "crew news", a database where you can download and share your lots! Also a forum and still alot of other usefull bunch of extra usefull stuff! Also we want change the work climate, you work when you want, even if you did nothing in a month it doesn't matter fo us, as long that you import your lot between a year that you've getted it, ourselves (LEADERS) will also work like this way for the mod. It must keep fun,
because we will need to wait till GTA IV (look down for more info)

You maybe have noticed that we were posting some "high poly" screens the last time... now that's what it's all about! The large discussion was ti use another game/engine
for the offer for the following reasons:

- Firstly and especially we were experiencing many problems with the SA "himself" had, it's knowed that SA has many limits, se we needed to split our Sketchup models in
litlle pieces what ended up that our IMG was full! Yup, it was full! We had in the meantime already 3 IMG's with complete yake Island, and then with the (big) part of
Las Colinas that we allready had, and by all the files (aloooooooooooot) camed up that we already were at the limit.

- GTA SA is now allready "old-skool" on the field of grapics, if the mod was finished we would look to SA with the same crooked eyes as when we look at GTA2 now.

- Also we wanted good grapics for when the mod ended and not that you were looking at it with crooked eyes. And after very much duscussion it is certain it that we will use GTA IV to make our mod on! So we hope that we can mod GTA IV when it comes out (and yes we know it will take long), if it won't come out on PC or it won't be modable
we may consider to use Mafia2.

Good luck, but the island/ground has some unrealistic and unnatural form ... try basing it on "real" islands.

Thx for the very good comments! I know is about the island... (it's form...) but I wanted to fix
that so that's not a problem!
And that our mod would die... hmmm... I don't think so!
I'm allready working on it over a year! (only the iv'e made before waren't very usefull...)
And if I would stop with it... hmmm than there would be enough other crew members that would like
to take it over I think!!!
And about the col problems... we don't got them! Or nearly not... we put very little pieces ingame,
the road system is made all of different piecs... so that doesn't matter!

Yeah, we have got an idea, we are going to have a ferry line in the TC.
it stops on about 5 places around the world and goes along...
