Stars Earned and Evaded - The primary difficulty with keeping these stats even is that the stars bleed off quickly in country or desert areas, but the game slaps the stars back on when in restricted areas. It doesn't take long to quickly run up more stars earned than evaded. However, if you could manage to keep some cops in view this might prevent the stars from bleeding off. Another option would be to use police vehicles or aircraft when traveling in desert or country areas since these vehicles tend to prevent stars from disappearing on their own.

One option for keeping the legitimate kills to a minimum would be to die or get busted before each save. I've never payed much attention to these stats, but I seem to remember something about kills since last checkpoint getting moved to legitimate kills as part of the save process.

When I recorded the Full Zoom video of the snapshot collection I was using a draw distance mod that clears up the weather significantly. I seriously doubt you'll ever get good enough conditions to snap all those photos on PS2. The purpose of Full Zoom was to demonstrate the long distance photography trick of zooming in all the way, and photographing snapshots through objects. It was never intended as a recommended method. I took far too many risks in order to keep the video as short as possible.

Dates are restricted to eating until progress reaches 30%. It's possible to trigger a She Drives date with a high wanted level, but the date still fails as soon as it starts. Still, it's pretty interesting to watch Michelle drive around while getting bashed about by the cops. I'm pretty sure any vehicle damage received is automatically repaired.

Ok thanks for clearing that up, im just going to get a proofed monster from Michelle and do snapshots with that. Oysters are going to be the main problem when going for matched wanted stats, i guess if you can swim to most of them without triggereing the wanted level at all you could do it. I know about the deatgh trick for legit kills but no deaths and busts are more important to me. I tried the Ranger trick but like GTA Phreak said, your homies wont shoot at the cars as your car is bullet proof and doesnt take damage, and i cant be bothered running them all over.

Sucks about GFs, i was hopeing there would be some way to get to 100% somehow and get a different uniform. Guess im going to have to do the chiliad challenges and get tats from LV. Sorry about taking so long with the oysters i keep getting round to other stuff ( i sucked real bad at getting the proofed cars, they NEVER got out!)

I now have 49 Oysters, soon il get them all on 0% on a different save and see if it works. Also, is it possible to fit a Beagle in the Doherty Garrage? I think i might try this before tackling the Rustler challenge

UPDATE- GF progeress to 45% is a failure, for PS2 anyway

I decided to go for Michelles Monster, I got it sucessfully but when i looked at my stats, katie wasnt on my achievements. She had 15% before the date, could it be a display error or did she lose 15% on that date?

Anyway i decided to collect the last oyster, she was still on my map and no it didnt go to 45%. Lucky i have a back up save but impissed that i gotta get the Monster again. im going to date her now and see what happens

I'm at a loss as to why Katie would drop off the stats page from 15%. Unless you abused her. I think that might have a 15% penalty. But I was concerned about the glitch not working so I tried the trick on a recent chain game save.

I dated Michelle down from 3% with a failed date (-5%). She dropped off the stats page but her heart icon was still on the map. I grabbed the last oyster and checked my trainer that shows the value of the global variable, the variable that does the work, and Michelle was listed at 45%. However, she did not show up on the stats page until I triggered a stats updating event. I picked her up for another date, failed it, and her stat popped up at 40%.

Which is a bit disappointing. It's one thing to have them at 45% and another for it to display on the all important stats page. Since all of the oysters are collected it wouldn't be possible to get 44% by not meeting her standards. When I first had this glitch I remember that Barbara's stat disappeared for a while, and then suddenly appeared at 43%. (I guess this might be similar to Katie disappearing on your game.) I suspect missing a phone call was the stat updating event.

You don't get any respect for shooting police helicopters, my bad. At least, not that I can tell, I shot down about 25 and got no respect. According to bamspeedy's stat faq cops are worth 0.06% respect so you might expect helicopters to be the same (thus 17 for 1%), but you don't seem to get anything.

Tear gas increases your wanted level really quickly, so tossing a bunch of that around should help prevent the wanted level from bleeding off, at least for a while, with no kills.

However, as for racking up more stars, this happens in the city too, not just in the desert/country. I went to LV with 18/18 wanted/evaded, just went to the stadium for Kickstart/Dirt Track and grabbed the miniguns before returning, no bribes were collected, and I when got back to LS and changed clothes, I had 36 wanted and 23 evaded. Not sure what happened, I think exiting the stadium (three times, I did kickstart twice to kill time until the next day as I got there a bit early) added another 4 on each time? It went down to 3 once, when I swam out to the Jetmax, hence the fifth evaded star, then back up to 4, I think this adds another 4 on too, not just one? I'm not sure if it's going to be feasible to keep these matched.

I dont think it adds another 4. I had 2 stars in LS, i went to SF and got 4 stars and i only had another 2 wanted things added. Anyway at least the no Pay N Spray challenge is still possible, maybe no cop bribe sttat as well

I reloaded a save before i dated Katie, she is still on 15%. I dated her, got no jelousy date and she was on 10% so i reloaded
So i tried again, Barbarra popped up. I went into the marker before she got near me and what do you know, she popped off the stat screen again. so im loading my latest save. This one has Katie off the stats, she isnt dumped and i havent gotten the last Oyster. Do you think if i try to date her again she will go back on the stat screen at 5%?

100% Progress with Michelle on a Master Save

Tested on modified saves and using trainers. Still untested without any modification but should work.

I was wrong about what I said before. She Drives dates in restricted territory can provide 15% progress for Michelle.

She Drives dates are not available at 15% progress so first get 45% progress for Michelle by dating down to 0% and collecting the last oyster before she dumps CJ (progress is hidden on the stat page). Go to Michelle's home with a car she can drive. Park with the passenger door near Michelle so she can get in and ask to drive before the scripts can fail the date due to a high wanted level. The cops pretty much ignore Michelle except the police trigger zones still go off. At the end of the date Michelle will have 15% progress. Repeat three more times and CJ will be awarded with the Racing Suit. Finally, a unique outfit for a master save.

Nice find! I knew it would be possible somehow, thanks heaps. Thank god i held off on that last oyster. I think i will use a proofed car just to be sure anyway. Right so she is on 5%, il get barbara down as well just for the hell of it. However im not even sure what Katie is on, not on stats page so im gonig to date her again

When dating them i simply stay in the red zone right, to make sure the date ends fast and i can still two time?

Also one last question, the She Drives dates. Will she do it everytime or is it 50/50 like two time dates?

Yes, I believe that is correct. Every time I tried sitting in the red marker to fail and end the date as quickly as possible the two-timing flag was unaltered. My hypothesis is that the 7 second delay before the two-timing scripts kick prevents any changes.

I try to describe my observations as accurately as possible, and always test things as best I can, but there is always a chance that I misunderstood something or didn't consider all of the variables.

I've got no idea how to calculate the odds of a She Drives date. I would think it would be fairly low since Michelle may also want to go dancing, eating, or driving. However, it seems like the odds are better than 25%. The other special dates (Drive-By with Denise, or Gimp Suit with Millie) don't appear to need a random trigger. Looking through the scripts didn't provide any obvious answers.

Im also wondering, is the Beagle able to fit in the Doherty garrage? I see a lot of talk about the Rustler but none for the Beagle ( understandable, who cares...) but i want some kind of plane in a garrage seems like this is worth a challenge, as i think one spawns in SF airport

Update- i did another date with Katie, however she still isnt on my stats... Im just going have to guess and say she is now on 5%.

I don't think you realize just how big the Beagle is, I can guarantee you that it won't fit in the Doherty garage.
Only place it can be stored (apart from the hangar) is an Impound, good luck getting it back out from there wink.gif

I can however guarantee you that you can fly one on an early save, I know all the elements (tested) of how to do it.
However the odds of actually succeeding at all the necessary steps isn't very high (and just 1 attempt takes a lot of effort).

I have put up that challenge in the Can you do it...? thread, feel free to report any success.

I havent actually bothered to look at the Beagle it just sounded small lol so i thought why not. Perhaps the crop duster...

Anyway im just going to use my old save for katie, she is really pissing me off not being on my stats il just ignore her, hopefully by some miracle she will appear there some day and il carry on getting her to 0%

In the mean time im moving vehicles from SF garrage as its really cluttered but its a real pain. It takes like 2 minutes to open now and i have flipped the Romero 3 times now randomly, i cant belive im so retarded to blow up fully proofed vehicles 3 times lol, that and twice now going to SF in the shamal a tree spawned really late and i crashed...

il check out your topic now but i still havent even erached 13.37%, doing it with 0 deaths/ busts is taking me longer than i thought.

I'm pretty sure the Crop Duster can be collected since it spawns in the open and isn't locked, and I think I recall Phreak fitting it in at El Corona. On PS2 I would recommend the Crop Duster outside of LV. There's much less of a chance that late spawning trees will get in the way. Do you have a Dune yet? How about a Bloodring Banger?

Be sure to keep me informed on the Katie disappearing trick. I'm curious how this will work out. If you can figure out how to repeat the glitch I'll try to recreate it and take a look at the hidden variables.

It's been a while since I've flown into restricted SF. I usually prefer to jump a bike across the Flint Intersection gap and make my way up to the tracks for a low risk entry into that area.

The automatic parachute is evil. That feature has resulted in many untimely deaths. I prefer to keep my flying stat below that level until I've finished any risky flying tasks. If I need a parachute I know where to find one, and I never keep one equipped unless I intend to use it.

Keep in mind that every time most of the side-missions are completed for the first time the wanted level is cleared, but not added to the evaded stat. That would mean at least a +36 earned from missions (3 Chilliad, 3 Stadium, 2 Couriers, and the NRG Challenge). Does finishing a collection clear the wanted level? What else am I forgetting?

I have the Dune and Bloodring unlocked but havent gotten them yet ( i want to get most of the stuff towards 13.37% done)

I loaded my old save, dated katie and got a two time date again and what do you know she dissapeared off my stats again. Heres what i did i flew in by shamal, bailed on top of the SF garrage, got the Tow Truck from the garrage and went over to katies. Both times i had to use a Pay n Spray nearby as i wanted it full health before starting the tow of the proofed vehical but i have done it before and it didnt make an effect. The first tim eshe dissapeared it was Michelle who showed, second it was barbara. The message saying you have been discovered two time definatly didnt show

Anyway im going to get Barbara to 3% ( lost 2% while undrowning a car...) Michelle is already on 5%. im assuming Katie is on 10%, i have been doing other stuff and i havent been dumped. il date her again, and save on a seperate file. Then il date each GF once so they are all at 0 or below and get the last Oyster, il tell you how that goes. However it may take a while, Barbara hasnt been home in a while, i checked on her every 5 mins nothing for a day so il get back to it later. im going to give up on the wanted stat challenge, but the Pay n Spray at 0 is still open for anyone, maybe you could use Michelles if you had to. No cop bribe challenge is also possible i guess, flying to LS by helicopter will be a pain though

Anyway if you are curious the vehicles i have bothered to get at this point

Mulholland house: Seasparrow ( roof) Bullet ( roof)
Goal: I intend to get a hotknife inside and an FCR inside, i cant seem to get 2 cars inside without teleporting outside when i exit, i dont want them dissapearing

El Corona: Fully proofed Romero and Ranger
Goal: I intend to move the proofed Monster as well but i want to use it for Snapshots in SF first

Doherty: Proofed Monster
Goal: Some kind of plane inside, i guess the cropduster is my best option, but im wondering will the News helicopter fit? That seems more rare and after watching Phreaks jack a police chopper on youtube i guess i could do the same to a news chopper. That, or the Cargobob

Johnson house: nothing
Goal: using vigilante to stop CJ from saying "Grove street, Home..."i intend to get a Patriot ( from SF) and a Barracks OL ( from LV) in here For a cool military base if i ever decide to get 100% on this file. Any undrowning spots near LV i could use for the Barracks? I tried the bridge but it blew up

Beach House: Sandking
Goal: Intend to get a Bandito ( SF undrowning) and maybe the SF fire truck that cant start Fire missions.

I really cant be bothered with the Tourismo, i have made many trips to LV and i can never get it to spawn, i tried the car respawn trick on Emerald Isle but they only spawn the same variation of cars currently spawning on the streets. I also did Viglante levels 1 and 2 for a looong time, never found anything rare. When i actually did the challenge for real i found aHotknife, i blew it up before i realised what it was, thought it was a Hustler, i was very angry...

An FCR will eventually spawn in Rodeo or Richmond. It's not all that rare but I consider it a worthy collection vehicle on a master save. There's another Monster at the trailer park near Flint Intersection. I'm not sure if it's worth collecting with a proofed one already. I don't see a point in storing a Crop Duster at Doherty, a News or Police chopper might be a better score. But a plane in LS somewhere would still be cool. Not sure where to stash it however. Maybe impound it with the Idlewood Broadway. The Patriot will eventually spawn during a Firefighter mission; collecting from SF or LV would probably be more reliable.

The Turismo will only spawn in Entertainment Busy areas of LV, and I don't think Emerald Isle counts. Try closer to the casinos. If you see Bullets or Hustlers then you are in the right area. Also, Turismos won't spawn as parked cars. Neither do Bullets, I'm not sure why. One strategy would be to use the car park to impound a Turismo at the LVPD impound. Then you could save and work on retrieving it later.

There are a couple of undrowning zones between LV and LS. One is off of Hankypanky Point; Phreak documented that location earlier in this topic. There's another spot just off of Hampton Barns. East of the armor is a small brown patch. The Hampton Barns Undrowning Zone is off the east edge of that brown spot.

I prefer the Hampton Barns Undowning Zone for fast cars from LV, or for cars I intend to undrown from LS. It's a really small zone, but the floor is fairly level and it's really shallow. Fast cars are needed to climb the steep slope beneath the Mako Span. From there it's easy to beach the car by the Broken Bridge in Palomino Creek.

For slow cars, like the Barracks or Dozer, the Hankypanky Point Undrowning Zone is easier to work with. It too is fairly shallow, but has a steep floor. It can be difficult to push some vehicles into the zone, and if you aren't careful the vehicle may roll down the hill when it undrowns and get stuck or flip on the rocks. If the vehicle can climb the bank up to Palomino Creek then beaching should be easy enough. I successfully tested a Barracks and Dozer at the beaching area documented by GTA Phreak off the east coast - by the underpass south of the Palomino Creek exit. The tricky part was climbing the last steep slope. Using reverse finally got them over the ridge. Maybe the Palomino Route would be easier, but those are awfully tall vehicles and that's a fairly shallow route.

If the girlfriends aren't showing up then work on sex appeal and body type. Without all the oysters the girlfriends can be pretty picky. There's a wardrobe glitch in bamspeedy's STAT FAQ that can be used to pad appearance (takes a long time with just the vest), and a good undamaged car will help. The fast food joins should have been opened by the first failed food date even if they are unmarked, so putting on a bit of fat should be easy enough. And there's always the Verona Beach Gym for gaining muscle or losing fat. If that doesn't work then try the next day. And if that doesn't work then I don't know what could be wrong. I keep looking for a "girlfriend is never there" save but so far sex appeal and body type clears up the problem - even if all oysters are collected it is still possible to need a little help if CJ does everything wrong.

Thanks for the undrowning spots, i read through this topic a while ago and couldnt find it. I have a method of mine for "beaching cars", it involves going into grey hell south of LS airport, has worked every time i tele onto land with a cool insane stun bonus. Edit- Well for the first time, i teleported on land like in the center of LS international away from my car. out of the 5 cars i have done it with it finally happened with my Bandito. Guess its not that reliable

As for Barbara, i met her ages ago, she is on 8% but i mean i cant find her as in she is never home for a date. My sex appeal is like 45% from the glitch, fat around 60%. I remember seeing a cropduster pic somewhere in this topic, i think Phreak got it into LS garrage in El Corona so that would save me time going to the airport. If i do this though, i guess i gotta somehow get all my proofed cars back to SF.... i think il just try and get a news chopper into Sf instead.

About impounds, i have only just recently heard of these, never knew about them and im a bit confused how they work. Do you have to get busted in that car to store it there, and it will stay there for a while even if you save then reload like a garrage? Problem with that is im going for no busts, but if you can simply park it in there and it will save thats awesome. il update my garrages when it gets more interesting, as im going to upload this save to GameFAQS if anyone actually wants it. I think Michelle at 100% and a new outfit will set it apart from the others however its only for people with PS3, idk anything about AR MAXs or other cheating devices

Update- after a couple of visits to Barbara at different hours, saving after each time, she still isnt there. I read through your impound topic Orion ( and forgot most of it) but it seems to be a great way of storing "trophy" aircraft on this file ( as in il never bother to use it) So far i have a normal Maverick in it when iw anted to simply test it. I dont think il do ti with cars as i suck at looking at the wall while entering the impound lot, aircraft seem to stay. So im thinking of getting a news and poilce maverick, and dithing the normal maverick. Instead of this normal maverick, i might try and get that chopper that is in LS airport. That, or the Cargo Bob but it seems Phreak couldnt get it to stay, maybe PS2 will have more luck. maybe the crop duster will fit in there?

Anyway while i was trying to undrown that Bandito a news chopper fell in the drink at the same time, something that never happens for me. I tried pushing it but it barely moved, would i be better off getting a tow truck down there and waiting for it? While i do this i might hope for a stunt plane as well to fit in the impound lot, this will save much more space for cars in Doherty

There's a couple of oddities with the AI helicopters:
They can't be towed and they can't be auto-impounded before they have been through a garage.

To make it easier to push a drowned one to an undrowning zone you'll need to enter and exit it first (CJ goes swimming again so make sure you have the lung capacity to reach the undrowning zone). Btw. if you don't the AI will fly it away when undrowned, which is quite funny.
Also make sure it isn't destroyed before undrowning it, in the water a destroyed AI aircraft is indistinguishable from a healthy one (a destroyed one can still be entered too). A destroyed one will blow in your face once undrowned, if the AI is still in control it will fly off while continually exploding (which is quite spectacular)
On PC the true state of aircraft in the water can be determined by snapping pictures of it with the camera.

All the smaller helicopters can fit in Doherty, and airplanes up to Hydra size can fit as well. (I'm not sure about the Cargobob)
The Stuntplane and Cropduster has been successfully stored in the El Corona garage.
The News Chopper can be stored in the Santa Maria beach garage, - push it in backwards with a car and then hit it at speed once the rotor mast touches the roof. Yank it back out with a Towtruck (once it has been stored in the garage it can be towed).
The Police Maverick can fit too, but I've never been able to get it back out.

Otherwise the LS impound works very well with helicopters, it can store 3 and they're easily retrievable by towtruck. Jacked AI helicopters need to be pushed in manually with a policecar (not as bad as it sounds).
Others can be impounded with the Broadway.
It does however not work with the Cargobob, it spawns in the floor and blows. But I think someone reported success with the Leviathan.

How much muscle does CJ have on that save where Barbara isn't showing up? If it's above 50% then that might cancel out the bonus from high fat. I can't tell if there is a larger bonus if fat is at 100%, a larger penalty if muscle is at 100%, or if the dividing line is at 50% and that's all that matters.

The other option for dating down Barbara when she's never home would be to trigger Two-Timing dates and allow her to catch CJ with another girl. I believe that will result in a 4% loss for the jealous girl, and -4% + -5% for the failed date.

Maybe it was already discussed, and I missed it, but there are two other ways to get vehicles from LV to LS:

1) Jump off the Mako Span to the Montgomery Intersection. Iíve gotten the Turismo, Bullet, Sandking, and others that way.

2) Fly a fixed-wing or rotary-wing aircraft really close to The Strip. Then gain as much altitude as possible, and fly to Rodeo, Vinewood, Richman, or Marina. Then drop the altitude so that vehicles appear on the streets and roadways. The game will still have LV vehicles in itís Ďmemoryí .
Iíve gotten the Turmiso, Bullet, and several LV Police cars to appear in those areas by doing this. It may take several tries for the Turismo and/or Bullet to appear there, but it does work.

For the Bullet:
3) Just get the one thatís parked in the alley in Doherty, SF, and jump it across at the Flint Intersection, but I think this is already well-known.

Yeah i got the bullet from SF and Sandking from LV using the bridges, il soon try get the tourismo but il use the impound garrage now that i have a bit more understanding of it. Instead of a Maverik, i guess il try get the leviathan in the impound lot. The muscle thing is a real bummer, it must be around 75% i guess it is always going up. I also had the same problem with Michelle, although she did come back eventually. i guess il try raise fat a bit more, thank god the pizza stores are open now and il see if that helps.

The annoying thing is i now want a cropduster or stuntplane in El Corona but my proofed GF cars are in there ( except monster, in SF) So maybe the Ranger can make the flint jump, i have done it from SF to LS so it should go opposite. Im thinknig maybe putting the planes in the impound lot as im pretty sure you cant fit both in El Corona lol, so anyone know if Crop Duster and Stunt plane will fit in LS impound? Il have another ead through your impound topic and see, if not il test it myself

The stunt plane really isn't an issue on a master save. There aren't any on the map until flight school, and I'm fairly certain there isn't any other way to get one.

After reading is post he said he didnt see stunt planes, but rustlers, crop dusters and beagles. My bad.

You can put the Cropduster in the SF impound, it can be taxied in and out and the yard outside should suffice for landing and take-off. Dunno if there's any spawn issues, - but most other airplanes work fine there so probably not.

The Stuntplane (the smallest fixed wing aircraft) can be stored and retrieved from the LS impound as well (w/o using a Towtruck), but as Orion said: There aren't any in the beginning (only Cropdusters easily mistaken for Stunts)

Ok thanks for clearing that up. il now try and get the leviathan ( or Raindance, i forgot the name of the chopper in SF airport) However i went to SF garrage and my tow truck vanished... well could have been worse my proofed Monster was there. Guess its back to Angel Pine. Thanks for all this impound info it saves a lot of space in my garrages, i now have a lot more to plan and think about for special vehicles. I can now get the SF firetruck for instance, Euros, pheonix and tourismo. I think i might be able to fit the tourismo on top of Mulholland Garrage, so far i have the seasparrow and bullet on top of the garrage, Tourismo might be able to get up as well, leaving room for a bigger vehicle in the actual garrage ( maybe a cropduster, does it spawn in LS side?)

Im going to try put the AT 400 in the impound just for laughs, i know it definatly wont fit but it should look funny. I looked at Gamerladys vehical map and couldnt find a Beagle anywhere in LV though, only in SF airport. Can you describe where it is in the desert i dont think i ahve seen it there before, only a cropduster.

Crop Dusters are on the hill overlooking the SF airport, and north of the Quarry. The Raindance and Leviathan at the SF airport are locked and are probably more difficult to collect than the Rustler. There's an unlocked Leviathan at the LV airport, but it shares a spawn spot with a Dodo so it can be awkward to spawn (approach from as western direction as possible).

The unlocked Beagle is located near the southeast corner of Fort Carson. It spawns almost inside of a cafe which makes it damn near impossible (expect for people like Phreak) to fly under any circumstances.

Thanks heaps for those, although i cant get the very first one to work. Lookslike the leviathan will be my best bet at LV. I tried the Raindance just now, but it was my first trip to SF today so the poilce helicopter was really annoying. i guess the more you try at it, the easier it gets as the police chopper doesnt come for a while. I managed to get it off the overpass with a popped tire. I found it easier to simply get out and shoot all the cops, bought me some time. My plan is to get out of the airport, if thats possible i can go under the freeway, to the railtracks, and then off there to the Dohrty garage. From there i have a bike ready to hold the garrage, and proofed monster that il use to push it, as long as i keep my momentum i shouldnt get busted and tear gas should help when pushing the tail to make it straight. If i can unlock it il have to tow it back out ( hopefully the tow truck is still good) and replace it with the Monster, then fly it to the cop bribes and finally impound it in LS.

I think the two hard parts are getting out of the airport area, which looks possible to me, and pushing it in without it exploding. Im very fotuante that tow trucks do spawn outside the airport incase it gets too hammered, but unfortunatly once i get too far from the Leviathan it dissapears.

The Beagle spawns inside a cafe? whos crazy idea was that? It looks bigger than a rustler, where would you even store it? i think il leave this till last.

I tried driving the bandito off the map and once again only i teleported back to land, Bandito no where in site. It worked fine for the Ranger, Romero and Bullet, maybe becasue the Bandito is too light, no doors or mabe i drove off at the wrong spot. In anycase il try it again with a SF fire truck and see if thats the case, although im only trying this vehicle stuff till Barbara gets home. When Michelle wasnt home i simply did other stuff till she finally came back

Update: Barbara is back, got her to 3% finally. Now i gotta date katie twice, ( assuming she is on 10% now) get fat to 50% and date Michelle and Barabara, grab the last oyster and i will be able to confirm the 45% trick, il try get it done right now

Update: Great, now Katie isnt home either! spent a whole day ( in game) in Sf, checking on her every 10 in hours. She was never home, my fat is around 30%, Muscle around 75% i guess. Wasnt a total waste of a trip, i had to go to the fire department 3 times but i finally got the Fire truck with the ladder. Funny thing when i got there, there was a chopper underground, i could see its blades spinning through the ground. Anyway i got the truck back by driving off the map underwater, so far only vehicle that wont work is Bandito. Il test it with every vehiclr i get when i do underwater drowning.

Update: Im not going to post anymore updates about vehicles that respawn in LS now, i tested heaps and they all worked except the Bandito. I Got the Barracks, only problem is it cant fit in ANY LS garrage! Any help with this? Saving it in Doherty is pointless as it spawns in the Navy base. i also have a really annoying problem, Katie is back, she is at 5% ( i think, still not on stats) and the other GFs are on 1%. However when i try date them each once, one of them always isnt home, like no matter what time it is

My very late 2 cents on the "stars attained vs. evaded" and "mission attempts vs. passed missions" stats. These stats cannot be kept equal. The Chiliad Challenge has been mentioned before, but the Trucking side-missions are even worse. They give you 8 mission attempts for one passed mission. Plus the 3 trucking missions where you get a wanted level shoot the wanted stars attained stat through the roof. While you're on these missions you'll notice your wanted stars blinking every once in a while and every time this happens your attained stat increases.

Yeah this wasnt a long term goal, just for master save files.

Anyway like is aid those who want a harder challenge can still go for no cop bribes and no pay n spray. I remember asking a while ago if you were to go into debt, would the casino gangsters chase you? If so, it would be cool if you got that gang as your most hated gang by only killing those guys

I still haven't tried the negative cash thing early in the game. I just don't have that much playing time at hand these days... I can have a look when I test the next chain game save. I doubt you can get the Mafia as your most hated gang though. Doesn't that stat only include gangs you can have gangwars with, i.e. Ballas and Vagos? <-- just an educated guess though...

I dont think so, because you can have Grove street as your most hated gang and my most hated gang at the moment is some Aztec gang, it hink they are the gang outside El corona, i usually save there and i kill them when i leave

EDIT: After checking the Stat FAQ you cannot get the mafia there. However there are a few other than Ballas, Las Vagos and GSF that you can get. I have Varios Los Aztec or something, i would prefer to have a gang that is in 4 star territory though, i think the gang outside your garrage in Doherty can be on this screen so i guess its another challenge to get them there.

Actually, it should be possible to get the Mafia as the Most Hated Gang, but it would be fairly difficult and probably not worth all the trouble. The debt collectors can't be used for this stat. They are spawned with the Mafia models but don't have whatever flag distinguishes the gang members. However, if you were to trigger a territory glitch to add a Mafia density of 1 to a turf, could somehow identify which turf had the occasional Mafia walking or driving around, and could recognize the Mafia when you saw them, then it would be possible to get a few Mafia kills in the stats.

Let's see... On PS2 v1 the Vagos spawn in Bayside when CJ flies to Liberty City, so if CJ flew level with the southern most roads in LV the same distance east then Mafia should show up near the boat school.
