[Zmod] Importing blueprints.
Posted 05 May 2007 - 08:51 PM
Right to start fire up Zmod. You should see three boxes named top, front and left and a fourth box named 3D. Those first three boxes are the ones your interested in for your blueprints. (Note that all of those boxes can be changed to different perspectives by clicking on the small box in the top of each and selecting a different view)
We'll start with the box named right.
Left click on the little icon on one of the view windows as shown(It is important that with clicking on the right view window, that you must import a right side view of your blueprint, otherwise the mesh will not show on the right side as it thinks your modelling the left side):
Then click on background>image>load image:
Then click on add:
Find your print where ever its been saved by using the "look in" option at the top of the box then open it:
Then your print should have been loaded into Zmod. Highlight the image and click on ok:
Then your print should show up in the modelling window like so:
Its exactly the same principle for the other two boxes. Just make sure your print view corresponds with the name of the viewing window.
