i dont know if these songs have been posted but id like to see them
Kayne West & T-Pain= Good Life ( this song is perfect for the rising gangsta in NYC even though i hate Kayne)
T-Pain- Bartender or Buy You A Drank ( for those drunken moments with Roman)
Chris Brown & TPain = Kiss Kiss
lots of 80 retro music
Mudvayne= Fall into sleep (for those murderous moments this would capture the essence well i think)
Eminem= Drug Ballad
Metallica= One or anything pre black album
Godsmack= anything cause they rock
Biggie
2 pac
i can think of lots of stuff but those are the main ones

I reckon... just because its set in New York and contains Brooklyn (Broker) we need some good ol BROOKLYN hip hop

so i suggest Respiration By Black Star (mos def & Talib Kweli) feat. Common
Its pretty much somes up New York.. well at least what i know of it tounge.gif

Beat on the Brat - The Ramones, of course!!

Scorpions - 'Alien Nation'

Alice in Chains - "What the Hell Have I?" (Last Action Hero's best track!!)

Soul Asylum (from MN!! USA) with Clerks' soundtrack single

Steve Vai - 'For the Love of God' instrumental, his best!

Traffic - "Pearly Queen" (Woodstock 94 version, their best!)

you know what? Talib Kweli is NY.. I'll be disappointed if there's no Kweli in the game. I know for a fact they will have artists from Brooklyn (Broker hehe) but I'm still not sure who. R* always has surprises when it comes to the soundtrack.
Here are some Brooklyn artists that I want to see in the game:
Talib Kweli - Listen
Memphis Bleek - Round Here
Jigga of course - Brooklyn's Finest, Dead Presidents & a bunch of other more recent songs
Biggie - Goin Back To Cali & Spit Ya Game
Fabolous - I Can't Deny It, Holla Back, & So Into You
Joell Ortiz - Hip Hop
Papoose - Law Library Pt. 4..
idk where the hell Pharoahe Monche is from but i want him in the game too.. his 07 album was bananas! That song Desire is motivational.

where they anygood? They still have quite a way to go before thier live stuff is anywhere as good as thier recorded stuff, alot of people just see or here them live, and think "oh they're sh*t", but in a studio they are just amazing.
