I see, thanks for clearing that up Engioc. A few posts led me to believe that people were taking in and accepting the actual story as truth because some of the things were right. I hope you can understand why I said what I did (lack of proper knowledge). As I can now understand why everyone has said what they have.

I guess what I said earlier wasn't directed at most people on the forums anyway, considering that they didn't actually believe the story. Please forgive me for making such assumptions. Didn't mean to aggravate or offend anyone. smile.gif

NO worries and sorry if my post sounded like I was having a go at your or something, wasn't meant to sound that way. I see your point and yes the sotry he gives sounds like a load of BS except for the fact its a GTA kind of story, he does some car jacking, running from cops, FBI, a sniper rifle. Biggest thing for me about this guy though is the fact he says at some point he will reveal himself, so I guess that means at some point we'll find out the truth on who this guy is and if he really knew anything or just made some good guesses.

P.S. If this guy is for real and he reads this could you please confirm a PC release for me???

If you want to decipher the playlist just look at the amount of nightwish there, a big band from finland - hardly hit it big anywhere else apart from a few films in US a couple of years back. But i doubt we'd see finland, so i dont think that this playlist hints towards any sort of location

Lol,I'm sorry for that but Nightwish is kind of well known,or atleast in here, and that pisses me off because a lot of idiots keep saying they like NW because of one song that was played a lot in here.By the way,Nightwish=The Best cool.gif .
Well,I really think there's something to this deepthroat guy as I said in other topics. But I also think there may be other r* employees in here because of the big number of new members suggesting NYC a few days before the trailer. Also there are lots of references to eastern europe characters in some of his posts.Another thing, didn't Zaibatsu,on the gta 2 promotional movie, had a van or something with a lot of eletronic equipment similar to what deepthroat described?

Listen to the end of the song:
Nena and Kim Wilde - Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime.

It's an radio AD for a station called 'ROCK CHICKS' is it not???

Sounds like a GTA ad to me.

Lads, lads! I just hope that somebody with a any common sense reads this post and thinks the same as I do. The first post as on the 11th March. The trailer we seen with the imagery that he seen being taken and his client wanted investigated days before the post. No way would rahkstar2.gif just be getting the imagery for their game at such a late stage. The imagery you seen in the trailer rockstar would have had it for months beforehand. The game must be near completion for release in October.

Lets make it simple, if those images for the game were just taken in early March their aint much hope of GTA IV being released in October.

I'd love to believe him, I really would. But does this all sound so credible? Alright, he saw a case. Understandable. These guys following him to an extenet, fine. But being shot with MP5s and chased with helicopters and jacking cars all sounds like it's taken straight out of GTA itself if you ask me. Maybe it is, maybe he's trying to hint at what the game is goign to be like. But I don't know.

Jesus f*cking Christ, people... Of course that whole story isn't true! Can't you see that the story is just a way of giving us hints about the game?

Indeed, some people are just stupid and think because his story is so far fetched then he must be lying, obviously its not true.

I don't know why everyohne is impressed by this so-called "good writing" this is sh*t writing.. it looks as if a fairly intelligent 15 year old has been writing this... Beyond that.... His info thus far has been good... we'll see about the future... Maybe if he showed up, left 2 messages or so and then dissapeared... I'd buy it.. but At this point, with all these posts, and their decaying quality.. I'm not buying that he's a Rockstar employee.... Its gone too far.. Its gay now...

For anyone who is actually brainless enough to refuse to believe Deepthroat's association with Rockstar on the grounds that they do not believe the details of the story to be likely or true, I would like to use a little sarcasm if I may.

Yeah, the guy was chased around across two continents by every law enforcement power known to man jumping out of aeroplanes and soforth whilst simulteanously keeping us updated on his progress. The fact that he writes in the present tense at some points only further strengthens this point.

You are taking his tales to seriously.

Think of it as R* attempt at viral marketing or trying to drum up interest.

i registered for the sole purpose of debunking this guy. cant anyone see that this is either

A.) An author with an affinity for the GTA franchise practicing his writing skills.

or the more believable

B.) A R* viral ad to increase the hype of this game.

look at the topic starter and how he pointed out all those clues. and read Deepthroats posts.

dont you think its fishy that a game developer would take such drastic measures, and, have a global influence? its talking about smuggling people, other countries, weapons, all possibly related to the gameplay of GTA. This would be an absurd ammount of truth to swallow. I firmly believe in the B choice here. There is no way (correct me if im wrong) for this guy to flu an airplane, jack cars, shoot guns, and, among all other things, be chased by a company that is so closely guarding the GTA story, that they feel threatened by a man who, supposedly, saw a few men in a suburban taking pictures for R* this close to the deadline of the game.

or, now that i think of it, a third option...

C.) Someone pretending to be a normal man, being chased by R* employees, who actually WORKS for R*, and is posting a viral marketing scheme by R*, when in all actuality, he just likes to get us all worked-up about the game....

so maybe i went a little too far with the last one, sue me.... bored.gif

His story is obviously made up, but in my opinion, hes giving small detail of the game.

Don't be stupid. Of course all this running away from Rockstar who happens to have worldwide influence isn't true, but he's giving us clues about the game with this story. Nobody said they believed he's actually on the run. anuj_cop.gif

Yea his story is definitely made up. I think that the reason he's done that is because the story involves hints of the GTA IV.
Maybe some of the the storyline in the game will involve similar events.
Definitely the part 2-5 have some elements of the missions in the game. I think, all of his posts in part 2-5 have hints of the game, all over it.

I'm honestly buying into this, everything he has said has come true, he is very luck or rahkstar2.gif Hired that 42 entertainment company. They keep the public busy with clues they release on forums. They did it for Halo 2, Gears of War, I assumed rahkstar2.gif Hoped on the wagon.

I think these 'dramtic' sequences could be Missions in GTA4? Except without the real life people? Think about it, It doesn't sound right to be real, But in GTA, It may be how the chareter ends up in Bogota? I am not saying it is, I am merley stating it could be.

You never know, but his writing is really good, we can only wait and see. I still think rahkstar2.gif hired that 42 entertainment place.

Update 4: In the original post (one of DeepThroat's most recent, at this point) the word everything was underlined. Forum member CaseLogic points out: "This has double meaning, no doubt. In the latter context, ones 'credibility' could be an important facet of the new game."

Also added the definition for "Revelation".

Maybe its the new form of respect, instead of completeing a mission and getting 'respect+' you get 'credibility+' instead?
