Keny Arkana is a very talented artist, I always like the topics she discusses in her songs.

In my humble opinion, this is absolutely one of the best Rap love songs ever made:

So, how do people around here feel about non-English hip-hop?

I like it and it brings in variety. I remember around the year 2000 in Germany Hip-Hop was just a sub culture and the rapping style was much more influenced by American Artists and now Hip Hop has become mainstream. There are much more artists with more fans, many more rap releases, more number one rap releases. Back then when MTV was a free TV channel in Germany people would get so many information on the American Hip-Hop scene. But now the Hip Hop scene at least the German one is heavily promoted on the internet aka youtube, Facebook and some news platforms. Now I only really take notice of when a new Eminem album comes out but other rappers are totally out of my radar now.

I think one good way to listen to rap from other countries is when artists have foreign feautures on their albums.

Kollegah feat. The Game (USA) - Rolex Daytona

http://www.dailymoti...-the-game_music

Genetikk feat. RZA (USA) - Packets in den Boots

Bushido feat. Booba (France) - Die Art wie wir leben

Farid Bang feat. La Fouine (France) - Maroccogang

Farid Bang feat. Young Buck (USA) - Converse music

Kool Savas feat. Kurupt (USA) - Keep it gangsta

Sido feat. B-Tight and Smif N Wessun (USA) - Get ya paper

Azad feat. Seryoga (Russia) - 2 Kaiser

DMX (USA) feat. Samy Deluxe - Whut whut (remix)

there are several mor tracks but its mostly with American or French artists. Personally I prefer English over French rap just because the words are easier to rhyme. But Spanish sounds also cool.

Pretty dope tbh. 1000 times more interesting than anything Busta's done in ages. Em sounds good and kills the beat lyrically as per usual.

Having listened a few dozen more times, I have not got a clue what Busta is talking about in his verse. It's just words rhyming, I can't make any sense of it even when following the lyrics. Em's sh*t is jsut funny and technically all there. The Abraham Lincoln line, the 'Dead Wrong' name drop, the comments on internet bloggers, the Wake Up show gag. the interesting content is all in his verse. May have flowed better if he slowed down, but ah well.

I'm sure all other Ice Cube fans are feeling like me right now... that new song he has 2 Chainz and the dude out of LMFAO is beyond terrible. I'm honestly a big Cube fan, one of my favourites of all time and I put him up there with greatest but holy sh*t he's let himself and his whole fanbase down.

 From Facebook:

we are now at our best and so Death Grips is over. we have officially stopped. all currently scheduled live dates are canceled. our upcoming double album "the powers that b" will still be delivered worldwide later this year via Harvest/Third Worlds Records. Death Grips was and always has been a conceptual art exhibition anchored by sound and vision. above and beyond a "band". to our truest fans, please stay legend.

Well this sucks.

Went to see FlyLo live last year, this is the song that still stands out to me. This dude is on a whole different level, I was pretty stoked to find he had his own station in GTA.

Yeah Jay Rock is cool. He would probably much more popular but the mainstream fans that listen to the likes of Drake don't want to hear a gangsta rapper that sounds like he's just came from the 90's. Looking forward to his new album.

Word, wait till it drops, he was gaining allot of momentum when he got signed to Strange Music, thats how I found him and his TDE label mates.

Fifty said Kendrick will carry momentum for the next two albums, which were Oxymoron and These Days... so Jay has to blow ducks out of the water with this.

Yes Yes yes!!

Usually not a fan of remixes to classic hip-hop joints, but this dude Woody does them justice (most of the time).

Never thought I would like this more than the original:

I'll try!

Dead Wrong is dope. There's a  version of tonight's setlist (one of many made up, I'm sure), with Dead Wrong on it. That would be pretty awesome inclusion. He has performed it once before...

Odd Future will be exciting to see as his supporting act. I bet the Wembley staff will restrain them quite a bit tho. No stage climbing or diving at this one.

Yeah that'd be sick if you could get some footage. Have fun!

I was listening to the Mr Philadelphia mixtape by Meek Mill last night, I can't believe I slept on it. I'm looking forward to Meek Mills new album, a while ago he dropped a track from it.

I saw many comments that said Rihanna should have been on the hook, that would've been awesome. I still think it's a good song in my opinion.

Well that was insane!

The setlist I had seen was correct. Dead Wrong was performed! The intro started with visuals of Em's success, segues into Matthew (Stan's brothers for those not following) growing up, becoming equally obsessed with Eminem, if not more so than Stan, blaming him for his death etc, stalking Em, finding where he lives... (Basically telling story of Bad Guy). Then he burst out on stage to the 4th verse and that was completely f*cking nuts.

Basically, watch this... Not my upload but full Bad Guy intro and 4th verse as clear as day quality:

The number of cameras and phones I had to look over was horrific throughout the whole gig. No one ever watches a performance anymore. It genuinely scares me.

Basically here's the set list..

BsLtxlZIMAAHrGd.jpg

As you can see, Dr. Dre came out and everyone including myself went f*cking nuts. Dead Wrong, Evil Deeds (I think it's the first time he's performed it, replacing Cleanin' Out My Closet), Rap God Verse 3, Don't Give A f*ck and Still Don't Give A f*ck next to each other, Marshall Mathers (I don't think he's ever done his Ken Kaniff voice live before now? So that was cool to hear).

Too many cool songs in there. Great night.

Ed: The friend I was with got some video, so I'll see if he can upload it.

Concert sounded mad Kippers. Speaking of Dre, when the f*ck is his 'Detox' album going to be released?

You think it's still in the works or has he dropped it to manage his Beats by Dre?

Speaking of foreign hip hop, I happened upon this kid Stromae recently. French hip-hop/trap electro. Was a bit put off at first but it really grew on me.
