Love the hell out of Black Skinhead. You can hear how noided Kanye is in that song, it's amazing. Didn't think I could get so hyped for the new album, but here I am salivating over ever new thing I hear about it. June 18th can't come fast enough.

The album cover is one of my favorites things about this new era

I'd love to go to the gym with Busta Rhymes, he's all about the self motivation and the end goal. And also quite amusing. Also, I was led to believe he was becoming a middle aged man with a belly. Turns out he's been bulking the whole time.

The new 'Twerk it' track he has out is rubbish, but it'll give him the money he knows it'll give him. I don't imagine hearing it in any of my clubs, though.

Bustas latest music hasent been great in my opinion. Its like he sold out really. But I wouldnt go as far as to define him by that. Year of the dragon was okay. And Im not feeling the Cash money thing. On the other hand his old stuff is brilliant.

This man is just a f*cking lyrical monster

K-Rino is a living legend. He speaks the truth and the concepts behind his tracks/albums are just mind blowing. I suggest giving him a listen and more of his albums are on youtube if you would like to listen to more of his stuff so yeah guys check them out guys icon14.gif

It'll be interesting to see how well Yeezuz does in 18 days time with this minimalist approach to both promotion and art styles. Apparently it won't be available for pre-order or anything. Quite a bold move.

I've been listening to those K-Rino albums. Some good stuff. I'm not really heavy into the political rap stuff. I feel sometimes it jsut goes off too far in one direction and I stop listening. Lupe Fiasco is one who really irritates me nowadays.

Also really intrigued by Kanye's new album. I was never a fan of his and I hated Watch the Throne. But I really like Black Skinhead, and New Slaves is a nice, statement I suppose. I've been listening to a lot of Outkast lately too, Andre 3000 is really good (Not discrediting Big Boi of course).

Kanye's Yeezuz, Cole's Born Sinner, Statik's Extended Play, any other else I need to know?

EDIT: Here, have another J. Cole:

It's all about the old school hip hop and rap when it comes to that genre of music. New gen' rap and hip hop is mostly absolute sh*t.

Saw this channel on my FaceBook, it has A LOT of classic hip-hop albums and groups on it, check it out;

P.R.T, Big Daddy Kane, Brand Nubian, Fat Boys, Nas, P.U.T.S.

Randy Jansen's channel

I never listened to much Brand Nubian, but holy sh*t they're good, picked a random song for a start;

Could browse his uploads for hours.

after I've been in Barcelona I've started looking on the internet for some spanish rap, being a long-time rap fan myself, but the only one that I like of the ones I found is Costa, the others just seem to not have an original style, the beats too sound a bit too generic. can someone suggest me some spanish fresh hip hop? something like kendrick lamar, 2chainz, nipsey hussle, booba, french montana, big sean (I listen to old school rappers too but I don't like the new ones that try to sound old), and maybe give me some informations about spanish hip hop in general :-)

I can sort you out with the best Spanish HipHop mate.

Expect a collab with me and M.Padron in the future smile.gif

I strongly suggest you check Dave Bee's old stuff from the 90's, M.Padron is consistently making classic sh*t today!

That'll be a legit collab. Used to be a big Fifty Fan, but switched to Game and Young Buck when I was younger, and kept the same retarded mentality about Ex G-Unit music untill I started listening to Fifties Diss's on both of them. Really love his attitude lately, its like `f*ck what they think`. Or him talking about Officer Ricky "I'm going to f*ck your life up for fun". Felt a bit sorry for Gun-play at the Bet Awards ha ha.

Loving Forbidden Fruit right now and the first track Villuminati. Got to give it more time to listen to it all and decide if I'll buy it.

You wouldn't want to know trap. Some beats are nice but the Gangster Trap lyrics are horrendous.

It's not about the lyrics, though. It's about getting hyped up and partying without giving a sh*t.

EDIT: beats? I meant lyrics.

'Rich Niggaz' really caught my ears. Which is surprising. Given the name I assumed it was a rubbish, braggy, unrelatable, Rick Ross type track. but no. It's frikkin good.

Particularly this extract:

QUOTE
I took a train down memory
And watching little Jermaine do his thang before he made a name
It's like Sony signed Basquiat
He gave it all he got now the nigga don't paint the same.
I guess he can't complain
All the money that be raining in
Spend a hundred thou for the chain again
Thinking old school niggas like Dana and Dane
Probably kill for another claim to fame
My brain the same, yeah nigga at least he ain't insane
You ain't crazy motherf*cker you just afraid of change.
That's new, maybe that's true
But listen here I got a bigger fear
Of one day that I become you.
And I become lost and I become heartless
And numb from all the Ménages
Just one bitch don't feel the same no more
And Henny don't really kill the pain no more
Now I'm Cobain with a shotgun aimed at my brain
Cause I can't maintain no more.
Tad bit extreme I know.
Money can't save your soul.
