the textures are great! though its a bit of a typical Building if you get my drift....

Great work dude. The island has made a extreme makeover. That means no boxes, but real objects. And we have paths. Screens are comming soon. tounge.gif

Hey. My name is White Gold and SSX-Breaker asked me to keep you up 2 date about the Green Light District. So you can expect updates every week and a lot of screens. I also work with 3Dsmax 7 and i'm beginning to get it.

So now a few renders of the building for my lot.

Hey ,guys! I can make models with sketchup so i can help ya! The only problem is that I don't know how to convert the sketchup files to dff's & txd's. And keep up the good work icon14.gif ! I really liked the second trailer you've made! Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

Looks good, but next time you upload an image pelase use imageshack.us or photobucket.com, downloading images sucks...

I'm glad to let you know that we're not dead. Most of the time we are discussing on the Dutch forum and then we forget to post all the progress here. But the last weeks we were very inactive, but that has changed, cause it's holiday biggrin.gif . So here some new renders and screens:

2 Cars modeleld by Mythbuster. The upper screen is made in a very early build of The Green Light District, the other screen is made in Las Venturas.

So, after a long time, i hired a lot again and started my 3Dsmax and this is the result of lot 14-15-16:

So this is very [WIP], so you can expect more details and that stuff in the future.

I can also say that Apple-Mac (SSX-Breaker), the project-leader, is working an a Fun Fair with attraction that are enterable, such as bumpcars (botsautotjes) etc. NickOnly, wich is the co-leader from GLD, is working on some new cars and many lots.

By the way, we are looking for some modellers wich can build some lot's. Only 3dsmax is allowed, no sketchup (except for Joshika), so if you want to join us, you can post it here or just send a Personal Message to me.

This mod is very away from death. Because we're developing this mod on a other forum, we had no time to post any progress. Here are a few screens, from GLD in curently state.

This mod is death, but we are waiting for a few people who are actualy interested in this mod. Our team has splitted up, so that's the reason why this mod is dead, But if you like te develop it further, then go ahead! Reply in this topic and we can talk about it.

I will create an english installer (The dutch version is available for download), but you have to keep in mind that this version isn't an official public release. It's from original an update for our team, which released somewhere in April 2009, so there are still many bugs and glitches in it.

The Green Light District V1.3 US January 2011
This is the official first béta version of The Green Light District.

What does it contain?
It contains only 1 island (because the other two never went ingame), The Downtown District, and a few cars and weapons.

Support
Some members of our team are still prepared to do something at The Green Light District. I will update this mod as much as possible, but the goal of this release is to find a new team which is interested in this concept. That's why we are releasing this mod now.

Bugs, glitches..
Because the mod is unfinished, there are several of bugs and glitches in the mod. Most of them are well known. These are for example:

*Dusty vision at the night
*Collision bugs (invisibale walls)
*Slow rendering (The game doesn't load models in time)
*Texture faults
*Lots which don't fit with the street.
