that looks like a bullet beeing crushed by a bulldozer tounge.gif hehe good thats a convertable or else large people will be stuck inside, remembering that the bullet is already small inside tounge.gif Really awesome looking car hope to see a release soon.

@SR: Hmm, I'm not digging the "trodden on hotwheels racer" look. I understand having the indented roof...but all over? Just looks plain strange. I vote you at least sort out the boot.

Vent just infront of the door looks too blocky for my liking, in comparison to the rest of the car.

And dude, wobbly shaped windscreens? Think of the damn wiper blades!

Nice ideas in the car but personally I think a few need revising. Including tyre width etc. Not digging the rims either.

Anyway, just some suggestions that are my personal opinion, do as you wish but I feel this car has good potential that just isn't being fulfilled.

@T: Looking great in game biggrin.gif kams mashing ftl lol.

@Aad: Nice texturing there smile.gif Me is liking it. Sort out those damn vertical supports tho! tounge.gif

Bonnet normals need doing, haven't even been touched yet, as do alot of the materials.

work on the bumper grunge texture... kinda blury
add more grunge dirt on the rear bumper
use same method as in headlight for taillights... to see some bodyline
add number plate "holder" on the front and rear bumps
side mirrors
also recreate the interior

mostly I would recreate the whole car since it has no detail at all and it doesn't look like a cabriolet... it looks like it was a coupe car and then somebody cut the roof off

Thrown together in about..oh just over an hour now I reckon. Early shot, will get detail.

Polycount is about 900 for what you see there.

EDIT:

Now just under 3,000 polys.

Wow thats a nice looking car you got there. Hope you can get it up and running ingame smile.gif .

anyway i also tried to finish of some more stuff finnaly putted my 2 lots i made ingame and added some scenary stuff to them. Still needs some generics and cars to be on the parking stuff but thats all later stuff.

Hopefully i can send it to Gforce as soon as possible so it will be included in 0,6 currently it doesnt have LOD models, and the colfiles arent stripped to a minimum but most of the times that isnt needed anway enough crappy talk here is the teaser shot quick wrapup in paint.

You know Flash, I just thought of two ideas for the Monaro.

1. Make an empty triangle, and put a capitalized "M" in the middle. Then, place that on the grill.

2. Make a taxi version, to replace the Cabby. It just looks to me like one of those cars that would make a good older taxi, like you'd see in New Jersy or New York.

By the way, just curious, but is it based on the 1970 Mercury Marquis(SP)? Someone at my school acctually drives one.

Very sexy renders, and also, I love the small details.

I remember someone (I think it was Gforce) recommending a hood ornimant. I'll try to think of a design for one that'll match the M in the triangle well, yet still look like a different minor feature.
