I love nature, so most of my desktop backgrounds are of scenery. More specifically, California scenery!

I finally built my Gaming PC and was successful!

Here's a picture inside of my case, I know the cable management is horrible but I don't care for now, I just want to play games for a while and not have to deal with the mess. I'll fix it another time and make it nice and neat.

I also cleaned up the wires on the ground. It looks a little neat.

It's almost been 2 years since I built my first gaming PC. I knew nothing about computers back then. I can't believe my cable management was that awful. lol Anyway, in the past 2 years, I added 4 extra gigs of ram, my keyboard broke, I did a really good cable management job and added 3 blue 120mm led fans. I didn't really upgrade much. I only upgraded my ram and bought a new pair of headphones. I am getting a Corsair 600t on my my birthday on July 1st so last night I took pictures of my setup for good memories. I also am getting a Noctua NH-D14 recommended by Overthebelow back in 2011. Thanks dude. I can't wait for my new parts.

Ignore the really stupid looking mouse pad. It was something my mom gave to me so I didn't care. It works fine.

The headset I own is called the Plantronic 780s I love these things. The only thing that is annoying is lint gets on it all the time.

@kamuran
Those Dell keyboards are pretty good for a standard USB keyboard. They feel surprisingly nice to type on and there's millions made by Dell tounge.gif Glad to see you still have your PC and mainly original components. It annoys me a little when people pointlessly upgrade their system every six months. I've seen posts on other forums where they claim to upgrade their 3770K and 670 to the 4770K and 770. It's their money but it seems a little silly to me when they already have a very adequate computer.

@Whiskey
What game is that on your first monitor?

My latest addition to my computer is a mechanical keyboard. I bought a second-hand QPAD MK-85 with red switches and I'm very happy with it. Only nitpick though is that the rubbery finish shows sweat and other marks easily.

It's The Division by Ubisoft. Found the wallpaper off 4walled.

How different is the mechanical keyboard? Looking to get one to compliment the R.A.T 5.

I really love the dell mechanical keyboards. There's no point to buy a really expensive gaming keyboard in my opinion. Dell keyboards work perfectly fine.

Also with my computer specs, I would never upgrade every 6 months, that's such a waste of money. There's no point. I wouldn't want to spend $1000 every 6 months on my PC. The only upgrade I am going to get is a new case and a noctua nh d14 CPU cooler. Later in December, I want to get a new mobo and processor to upgrade from my old mobo and processor. The only reason I want to upgrade is because I have a buyer for my parts. I also want to upgrade my graphics card but not in December. I want to wait until the witcher 3 comes out, hopefully by then the prices will go down for the gtx 780 or I might even get a gtx 880 when that comes out. Once I upgrade, I won't upgrade for years. I will upgrade longer than 2 and a half years. I just wish I bought an intel CPU and compatible motherboard when I built my computer so I didn't have to upgrade again. But oh well.

Your Dell keyboard is a rubberdome, not mechanical. It's really not any different from any other rubberdome keyboard on the market.

@illegal_luggage: Funny that you mention the MK-85, because I plan on ordering a Max Nighthawk X8 in a few weeks and the MK-85 is basically a rebranded version of the X9 (only real difference between the X8 and X9 is that the X8 offers MX Browns by default and the X9 offers MX Reds). The nice thing about the Nighthawk is that it's fully customizable, and if you spend enough (I think it comes out to around $100 extra?) you can customize the mechanical switch and backlight color for each individual key. I've seen a lot of people that mix MX Reds/Blacks for the function/number keys with MX Blues/Browns for the letter keys. Personally I'm just going to go with the standard model, but it's nice to know that the option is there.

I did cable management in my new Corsair 600t. I didn't really try so hard to make it look amazing because my 200mm fan is broken and I have to return the case to Amazon. I will do an even better job when I get a replacement of the case and my Noctua NH D14. I have cable management OCD and I love it!

Imgur album here. The 6/8-pin power connectors ruin it a little for me. I love the case though, it's really quiet compared to my old CM Elite 430. The noise dampening really works great.

Please excuse the dust, and the glare on the poster frame. I'm planning on replacing the frame with one that's anti-glare as soon as possible. Just a tip: don't spend $5 on a poster frame if it's anywhere near a lamp.
