Glad to see that I'm not the only one who likes OS X wallpapers.

Also, my DVI cable for my second monitor should be here in a few days! Woot!

edit - here we go, two monitors now.

user posted image

When you press Windows key + Print Screen on Windows 8, it takes a screenshot of all monitors. Sorry for the tacky white space, it was actually transparent there before it was uploaded.

The second screen is a bit empty for now. I can't put my dock on both screens, and I don't want desktop icons or pinned taskbar shortcuts. Getting the Start Screen up with two monitors on a particular screen is also hell.

An update. Sort of.

On Tuesday afternoon I received all the parts for my new budget gaming computer in one box, excluding the case, which came on Friday. Finally, my previous, P-O-S computer is out the window. I would get pictures of the build itself, but my phone still doesn't connect to my computer.

Here's my desktop (1280 x 1024 resolution: Desktop

Specs:

Processor: Intel Core-i3 3220, dual-core @ 3.3 GHz
Motherboard: MSI B75MA-P45 Micro ATX LGA1155
RAM: Corsair Vengeance, 4 GB DDR3-1600
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 500GB, 3.5", 7200 RPM
Video card: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti, 1 GB, core @ 928 MHz
Case: NZXT Source 220 ATX Mid Tower
Power supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V

See you again in May.

I wanted something new with keeping the W8 layout, now I think I'm contented, just a few gadgets to find, and I think my simple Desktop would be nice. smile.gif What do you think?

Using Windows 7. It's not a theme but a bunch of programs. What I did was replace explorer.exe in the registry to steam.exe so the PC boots straight into Steam Big Picture. Replacing explorer.exe removes the taskbar etc. Then with XBMC added it as a game shortcut. If I want to do normal computer stuff like render videos I created another user which boots into a normal Win 7 desktop. Pretty cool, but sad that I consider my little pc as a beefed up 'console' biggrin.gif

I've got the same xD Not the same setup though. My XBMC is installed on a seperate bootable partition. Love showing it off when friends come round.
Hundreds of movies, heaps of TV Series; tens of thousands of songs; all with the correct images and data etc.

All controlled from my couch with my Windows Media Centre Remote, and my XBOX360 Controller icon14.gif

Wish I lived in Africa, and could go to a game park, and capture images like that inlove.gif wow

My Steam/XBMC are installed on a external hard drive. Also controlled with a XBOX360 controller along with custom binds done by Xpadder and AutoHotKey, for example Select+Start kills whatever process is being run.....useful when a game freezes biggrin.gif Also use my iphone as a remote. If my external hard drive dies I'm pretty screwed right now!
