After reading a thread on another board about how so many cool records came out in 93, I contributed a list. Even though it was released in 92, a combination of crappy record stores and lack of funds as a broke high school student prevented me from getting it until 93.

That would be Obituary's "The End Complete". I ended up getting their stuff out of sequence. Got "Slowly.." first, then "End.." and then "Cause...". After that I was "in order."

Even though this is on cassette it still sounds amazingly good.

You always post good sh*t Moon.

Two questions. Anywhere I can get lyrics for the songs in your first album (vocals are pretty clear so I get most of them but just out of curiosity), and do you know when Grey Host will be releasing more?

To be honest, I have all the lyrics written down in a sketchbook with everything involving Grey Host - notes, sketches, etc. I could transcribe them probably.

Also, we're about to record a new demo single, so I've been working on the artwork for that. I'll put it up here when it's ready.

Anyone listened to We Butter The Bread With Butters new album, Goldkinder? Odd name, but it's a decent German metal album.

I have no desire to hear it. Ozzy hasn't been worth a f*ck in a long, long time and his vocals would ruin any good riffs that are there.

And more Avenged Sevenfold from me to GTAForums!

The new album has been streaming for free on iTunes, and this just sounds amazing. You can really hear the influences of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns 'n Roses, etc. Sounds beautiful to me:

Danzig is okay. But I prefer Glenn's work in The Misfits more.

Hey yeah I'm a fan of all of his music. He's a really cool songwriter and remarkable singer. My favorite I think is the album Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood.

Hell f*cking yes. I've been into them since I was 13 or so. I'm a big fan of their lineup currently, but that's because I'm also into Big Business. Got to see them this summer and it was pretty awesome.

Seen em with the lineup with Big Biz and the Melvins Lite Lineup, awesome both times. Also have seen Big Biz like 4 times now.

Rocking out to some Hellwitch at the moment. Vastly underrated but fantastic death/thrash.

Well I haven't heard of Ozzy's voice since the new album of Black Sabbath and it's still nostalgic to hear them. It's amazing that they continue to exist amidst the greatest shift of the music industry. Like Ozzy's song indeed, You Can't Kill Rock and Roll.

Moon, I've been very much enjoying Dawn for Vultures but up until now it has reminded me of something I've been totally unable to put my finger on. I've finally figured out what it is.

Are you familiar with Counterblast? They're a Swedish doom/sludge/crust punk band and even though the music is quite different the vocals and particularly arrangement and density are very similar to my ear. Fantastic yin/yang counterparts with the dreamy psychedelic aspects of your album replaced with grinding, depressing crust.
