SMC: I actually just used one of these images and set it to screen, so only the light comes through.

There's also a way of making them from scratch. If you want to know, just give me the word and I'll make a tutorial for you. smile.gif

UNRATED: Wow, that's is a very accurate remake. Are you going to paint and texture the model? Thanks man, appriciate it a lot!

I like that. Very simplistic. Even without a skull it still looks good.

Thanks for the tip Whiskey. icon14.gif

I agree with Mockage, I really like the simplicity of that sig, nice design and colour. I think the xbox controller edges are quite jaggy though compared to the others.

I'll do that tut this weekend Vertical!

Anyways, tried something new this weekend. Was particualarly hard as the models face is made of plastic! (It's a figurine). So the lighting of the face was off and I was having trouble correcting it.

Anyways here it is, Had a blast making it and I learned a lot of new skills, particularly in making the blood and the concrete wall.

Really nice work there Whiskey. Testing ocean renders for a new Titanic simulation.

What do you think about the Night one? It's the one I have to use.

Sorry for jpg quality, but for some reason the PNG's get all messed up once uploaded. I think Narcis told me why once, but can't remember.

I quite like this, but it irks me so much that the crossed bones are just off centre. It's like an itch I can't scratch.

I prefer 'em to be PSP's themes. It's too simple cool.

Any tutorials about this?

I mentioned a while back that these are made using online generators.

Thank you Narcis. I thought that I had to do it in the PS or Illustrator or with some software.

It's just some brushes.

Set your favorite blend mode. You'll need layer mask sometimes to cover some parts.

Gradient Overlay can help you some times. Just set the Bright Red and Dull Red.

You can also use fire brushes for the firey side of the soldier.

You can paint over the left side of the guy with a soft big brush, light blue in color, then set the blending options to Multiply or Overlay.

Do the same with the right side but with orange/red, then add your own touch or add brushes and what not.

Try playing around with different features yourself.

Not to come across as a prick or anything, but what have you personally done in the 'creation' of the final product? Just seems like 3 different images stuck together...What product are you using?

The background, and try cutting/resizing the image. And you can tell I had problem cutting the hair around Alex's neck and also the hair that is around Marty neck and if you look closely around his right shoulder you will see a tiny a gap that I struggled. Then applied a gradient on the Coca Cola.

You can use Layer > Matting > Defringe to get rid of the white spots on the edges.

Looks pretty good so far Eagles, I would like to see a wireframe. smile.gif
What school are you attending?
----

I looked at a Motion Tracking tutorial and made this simple "CGI" test:

The cube destruction was made with my Educational license of RayFire. Amazing plugin for 3D Max!

I think I'm gonna do an areal battle CGI test next. Over my campus! biggrin.gif

Thanks, dude. I'm attending at Centro Europeu, but they are a local school.
The best schools for 3D are in S„o Paulo, but I'd never leave my town to live in that chaotic city, so I'm doing great here.
After this car, we will model a house with all the rendering studies with VRay and mentalRay and then we will model a character and animate him. After that, we will have to produce our reel to present at the end of the course. And everything will happen until July, they said. I have no idea how they will manage this.
I'm looking for any school in Canada to attend, but there are a lot of options and I really don't know how to choose. confused.gif

But here's the wireframe (I don't know how to really render a wireframe), and the car a bit more worked.

I used to make some camera tracking in Boujou with Cinema 4D, but that was pretty hard to do and the results were not always the best. This method seems to be much better.
