I'm creating a model of a basic space ship in 3ds max, but I'm not good with textures. Basically I have this model unwrapped:
The squares don't allign right because I want to use multiple textures/materials. I have this in the UV editor:
Where to go from here? I don't want to scale everything down and put all textures in one image, because the image won't be of high resolution. Does anyone know how to split this up into two images? Or would it be a better idea to increase the image resolution and put everything in one image?
