The 1 week Trial has ended ...

I believe the objective was achieved, while collecting the Stats I noticed more Helper's doing requests than was usual ... apart from a couple of hiccups most requests were Completed in accordance with the new rule and I thankyou for that wink.gif

Now it's time to decide if the 1 Mission - 1 Helper Rule stays.

I can't start a Poll they have been disabled for the moment, so I ask all helper's / requesters to make a Post here - Yes or No ... the majority will decide the outcome.

(I will abstain from voting unless a deciding vote is required)

YES
I'm in favor of the new rules because even I get to take part in doing SnP's which i enjoy doing.
Also i feel everyone who can should take part and help others. They'll get credit too and so it doesn't all go to a single person.

I agree & you're welcome, after all this could have just been implemented without a request for our input.

Now it's time to decide if the 1 Mission - 1 Helper Rule stays.

I say YES that we should keep it in place. The helpers for the most part co-operated & got the requests done!

My vote: No

I would like to see this rule to be 2 missions, but i'm sure i'm the only one.
I will obey to the rule as it looks like it will get a yes from everybody else.

How will the process be modified as Mission Passers grows in size to eventually take on the full blown Time Vault role? For those unaware, we're talking about a single file a user could keep handy. Swap it in long enough to complete missions you're having difficulties with and then swap it back out to continue on with the regular game. Much faster than SNP and enables users to be self-reliant. There are still many missions it does not cover, so SNP is far from obsolete. Even in GTA3 and VC, there's still requests. However, the SA is far more active. I thought I'd pick everybody's brain to see how much it will be promoted by others.

For some members the use of your "Mission Passers / Time Vault" will easily replace SnP however for others it will somehow taste of a Cheat ...

I think as it has been shown with the advent of "Time Vault" for GTA3 / VC the SA version will definitely be an asset used by some, but not others. Consequently I see no real conflict with "Time Vault - SA" and SnP, both are your idea's and will service the Community as needed smile.gif

It IS a cheat. Just as SNP is. Difference is that Mission Passers is easier on everybody (except me tounge.gif ). I'm not too concerned right now because I can't claim one file does it all and if people have to re-download it each and every time, there goes half its appeal. Maybe I'm thinking too much of myself; when I have a question or problem, I want an answer RIGHT NOW. Which means I tend to use the internet/searches, sometimes even experimenting with things myself before I'd ever think of relying on others. So to me, Misison Passers would appeal for the instant gratification factor, even if one did have to download it each time.

emm, I'd like to get back to the topic 'ATTN: Helper's' if it's ok....

@Plaka: how about changing

The Rule - 1 Hour wait between completing requests still applies, OR 1 completed request! (similar to the Chain Game.)

It roughly takes the helper 5 - 20 mins for the request with some being a lot longer & 5 - 15? mins for U/L & doing the post. So, it's just about an hour anyway...

The '4 completed requests' I think is a little unrealistic as waiting for 4 requests would surely be longer than 1 hour & the requests aren't exactly coming in bunches like they used to.
As an alternate suggestion, maybe the # of completed request(s) could be cut out altogether & there just be the 1 hour wait.

What do ya think?
