Liberty City Stories Total Conversion

Ok now me and TripleAs with the assisting help for textures by Dingleman have started a whole new Total Conversion mod for GTA:LC. This is what exactly the Total conversion mod will be:

LIBERTY CITY MAP
Now so far we have got about probably 25% of the new Liberty City Stories Map changes done. Here are some pics of the ones done already or in WIP:

LIBERTY CITY VEHICLES
For the Vehicles we will be having Cars, Bikes, Boats, and Helicopters in this Total Conversion Mod:
CARS:
For Cars we will be having some of those new Cars from LCS like Phobos VT, Deimos SP, etc.
BIKES:
For the Bikes we will have bikes roaming around the streets just as much as cars and we already have bikes spawning around Liberty City where you would find them in Liberty City Stories. Also we are at the moment try to get some new Bikes into the game (Avenger, Manchez, Noodle Boy).
BOATS:
We do have a Variety of boats spawning around Liberty City like the Speeder, Predator, Skimmer, Sea Sparrow, Dinghy, etc.
HELICOPTERS:
Ok now for the Helicopters we have some spawning around Liberty City where they should of been like News Chopper at Head Radio, and some Heli's where you seen them in Missions for LCS like where Masimo got his Black Helicopter in the Mission "CALM BEFORE THE STORM" and a Helicopter at The Big Shot Casino and etc.

LIBERTY CITY PEOPLE
For the Liberty City people we will get some of the People from Liberty City Stories into the game and also we are gonna feature four more gangs included in the game with there own territories the Sindacco's, Forelli's, Avenging Angels, and Biker's. Also we will have a Toni Cipriani with all of the costumes as well.

LIBERTY CITY INTERIORS
We might be able to feature some interiors like the Safehouse Interiors, Sawmill Interior, Subway Interior, etc.

LIBERTY CITY MISSIONS
We will have missions for this Total Conversion mod which will be the Liberty City Stories Missions but we might be alittle to busy with this other stuff so if someone wants to code for this TC mod then please give a shout out or you can talk more with me on MSN Messenger. MSN Messenger name is in my Profile.

LIBERTY CITY AUDIO
Ok now this one is tough but I will probably be able to record the mission audio off of my computer and give it to you guys as long as I am not looking at a Law Suit. As for the Radio Stations you will have to have your own for the game but I will tell you how to convert them in order to use them.
RADIO STATIONS:
Ok now if you UMD Dumped your GTA:LCS and got the Radio Stations in AT3 format you can use a Program to convert it called HI-MD RENDERER. It will convert all the Radio Stations except for LCFR. If you own the PS2 LCS files which the audio files are VB files you can use a program called MFAUDIO it will convert all of the LCS VB audio files.

LIBERTY CITY SCREENS
There will be some Liberty City Stories loading screens and menu screens and a new hud for this Total Conversion Mod.

Well that is it for now there will be some more updates later on maybe on this post or another one so be sure to check us out every now and then. Also feed back on this Total Conversion mod will be nice. Also one more thing this mod will be for GTA:LC Beta 2 v6 so if you are looking for it you can find it at the GTA: Liberty City forum.

yes it will be updated because last time I kinda went away from GTA for about 4 months but I am back and me and TripleAs have talked and want to do this project.

Plus we got more stuff then before like The Big Shot Casino, LCFR Building, Portland Safehouse almost finished which is just a coll file correction and it will be done, and I got some new billboards inserted into the game with LCS Billboard designs.

Well the billboards were easy in a way just I had to insert all new billboards into the game into places you don't see them in GTA3 but you see in GTA:LCS like by Marco's Bistro and by Rusty Brown's Ring Dounuts.

Yes Portland Safehouse model and stuff is done just TripleAs told me the dff and txd file is done that he just needs to do the Coll file. And yes it will have an Interior since the first mission has to do with an interior and some other missions have to do with the Portland Safehouse Interior.

Next time Edit please. Anyway on with the mod, Am I the only one posting?. I Like the PCJ, Police Car too awesome job cool.gif . I don't see much of a difference with the Dodo, except that the wheel are tiny. Keep up the Good Work icon14.gif

Okay so for an update we are still finishing up the Portland Safehouse and I am just doing the Vehicles to make them look more LCS and doing the billboards. We will probably release a beta 1 once we get all of the Portland Map Changes in, Delete all of the missions, and get the vehicles and billboards done.

Well... just to update the topic a lil bit, we're done with the Portland Safehouse...(except interior... but i'll do that later...someday turn.gif j/k.. it's almost done, just need to reposition couple stuff and make the carpets and the bed )

Sorry for the dark pic, it still needs prelighting, and I can't do that in 3dsMax, and my Blender just got f*cked up for no reason.
Oh... btw, the DeimosSP is coming along nicely, most of the cars are retextured to fit in LCS theme, and the new Kuruma is done... as well as the first beta of the HellenbachGT.

Yeah... i know my portuguese kinda suck...it's one of the languages i wanted to learn; apart from English, Russian (I understand a lil bit), German (Blame Die Toten Hosen for this), Italian (My grandfather is Italian tounge.gif ), Arabic (My grandmother is Sirian) and my main language is spanish (Soy Argentino lol...) buff... mercie_blink.gif .
but... i hope you understood what i wanted to say.
Anyways... most of the cars are "retextured" and with the SA reflection so... expect a beta in a few days, also... i added the Hellenbach and now it isn't replacing the Diablos (although it has it handling...can't fix that).

Ok, I will wait. I think that I'll buy GTA LCS for the PS2 next week and I think there's a way to put the PS2 models in the PC version! And if it's true, I can get some models turn.gif

Well you can extract the files from the PS2 Disc to the PC but there is no way at the moment to open up the files like the IMG files, LVZ files, etc.

good idea! now those who don't own both psps and ps2 can play LCS' missions! will it be possible that 100% same as LCS? like those cut screens, and other stuff...

Sorry for the lack of updates just been kinda finishing up with some stuff but we will have a Beta 1 very soon of everything we have done so far probably after I finish up two more billboards and after TripleAs finishes up the Deimos SP.

Also some other good news is that not only are we gonna do the LCS to LC TC mod for GTA:LC VC engine but we are also gonna do it for GTASA-LC because actually we have more possibilites like fitting in all of the bikes in SA since we do have the Avenger, Noodle Boy, and Manchez done and we can create the Main.scm from scratch.

Ok... first at all, sorry for the lack of updates, but i've been sick and it was a lil bit hard to me to model, texture and do that kind of stuff with a headache bored.gif

ABOUT THE MOTORCYCLES!

I think we could take out the angel or the freeway, or make the angel things as an extra on the freeway and put the avenger on the angel slot OR try to add a new bike

I don't know about the faggio... I think it's better REMOVE the faggio and put the noodle boy on it OR try to add a noodle boy

About the manchez and the sanchez... Better trying to add a manchez...

EDIT:I was seeing the "show config" thing in the GTA:LC folder and i clicked in advanced>car handling... See it.... I don't know what we can do there... wow.gif

dude, the thing you suggest for the ferry/tropic will never work. after all, it needs a driver.

and you cannot add more bikes, only replace.

bad idea. you would have to start from scrach pretty much, and GTA:LC is much more stable. that isn't counting how hard it is to mod SA compared to VC, the fact that all new north-american copies of SA cannot be modded, the fact that SA practically requires a cray II liquid-nitrogen colled supercomputer to run at 640x480 so wiggers can act "gangsa", the new handling line sytem that is a pain in the ass....

@NathanHenry:I've bought GTA LCS for PS2 and in the models file it HAS A GTA3PS2.IMG!!!! So i think we can take models(but not colls) from there!! And IT'S BETTER TO USE GTA LC BETA2V5, 'cause there aren't any changed sounds(SentXS Sounds like a sentxs, not a admiral like v6), just use a GTA Vice City original SFX File, and we have ALL THE CAR SLOTS TO REPLACE,NOT JUST ANY, but we have to use the 1st list that i've made... but thats OK

@simplyunkillable:It's IS possible to replace the tropic with a ferry, just take away ALL THE Dummys!

EDIT ABOUT GTA3PS2.IMG:Bad news.... It doesn't have a .dir file... we can only open it if we can do a .dir file.. confused.gif

that won't f*cking work. dummies tell the boat .dff how to work; that and the thing will need a driver.

or we can just lock the doors by main.scm and just make the damn thing follow a path instead of adding a driver, which isn't necessary... dozingoff.gif

they in fact, are necessary, you can't just take them away.

PS: I think we should keep using V6... sounds aren't that important.
PS2: If Nathan is ok with this, i think we should release the beta after i got the interior of Toni's house ingame and the underconstruction Hpburn Heights, and maybe some crappy debug main.scm, at least for the first beta.
Then we'll make regular updates.
