Hi, im Leviatan, a new map modeler. I started modeling two months ago and apply it to GTA engine. Here are some pics of my proyect. All made by my self .
Special thanks to all the nice programers who have done all the needed tools to make the modding possible. Thaks to all. Steve-M, Kam, Delphi...thank you so so much.

Wow, excellent work, I love it! Is that the completed work or are you planning on adding more? Can't wait to try it out tounge.gif

Ed: Missed your later posts - I need to refresh more often. That's a really lovely job, the atmosphere and texture usage is beautiful icon14.gif

Well, needed information.

Speed Island V1 is finished. Itīs still so small. Because im alone to do it and its my first work on 3D Modeling. So, at the day, im working on V2. Jost Vice member is Working on his own Island , in the same map than speed island and near of it. You can dowload Speed Island V1 here: SPEED ISLAND V1 by leviatan

How to install:

Sorry, because V1 isnt translatod to english. So I will try to explain here how to run the mod.
Ok, after download the mod from BOMBERīs web page, you will se inside the rar file, 4 important folders and map cleaner tool. (Steveīs work sigh.gif )

Ok,lets go to intall:

1š Run map cleaner in a new SA installation, with all options in default
2š Delete or backup your FULL data folder. Then replace it with mine.
3š Place the "Speed Island Files" folder into the main SA folder, where the exe is
4š Optional. Replace original cars in gta3.img with the cars in "Coches Tunning" folder. I recomend to use the elegy and infernus in rar file. Because it have an special handling made for theese models.
5š Thatīs all, just enjoy.

I'm downloading this right now, it looks so awsome man, best mod I have seen in a while. What are you modeling with ?

I hope this runs fine on my pc, the models are not high poly right?

I think he uses rhinoceros for modeling and 3dmx6 for texture.

Hi every body, here I am again. This time with a new model i have done in the last two days. Its a bridge to comunicate Jostyland with Speed island. Remember, Jost Vice is modeling his own little island, and im working in Speed Island. Both islands will be together in the same map. Okay, this is the bridge i have done:

Excellent work mate
looks brilliant though should add into existing city like put it in the ocean by itself but make it so we can fly there from sa or something
otherwise will get boring pretty fast

Nice!!! I love this map, and will you please make race missions? haha if you do that will be sooo soo nice! But I have some advice for you. Heres my Idea of how to save object space, cuz there is an object limit for SA and still no one knows how to crack it. You should not make small objects like trees, rocks and other indestructable objects be single objects, join them together with land or some other objects, and i mean the meshes. This will save lots of object id's for more important stuff like more maps. But for destructable objects, this cant be used. These are just my Two Cents. Well good luck in creating a full new city! He uses Map Cleaner to clean the map, so that automatically will free the IDE slots I think. Too bad my game crashes whenever I use it. sad.gif

All the vegitation etc are are used from san andreas. Also he has thousands of slot's, which he will never use.

God! You call this your first time at modelling? You must have had some practice or tutoring on this bro, but f***! This is nice man, dfenatley be trashin my rides around this, v1 is goin in my game ASAP! You've outdone yourself, keep it up! As a suggestion, maybe have a drag track and a race circuit for a bit more speed wink.gif

Anyways keep it up and ill be watchin this topic for more great talent!

Hi everybody. Today i have some new models. I have been working so hard in the union of Jostīs Islan, called "Josty land", with my Speed Island. As you saw, i did a bridge. Ok, so i needed some more models for the road union. The union of the bridge with Jost land is finished, but with mines, its still in progress. Ok, see the pictures of jostyland union:

Well. Already the union of jostylandia with Speed Island is finished. I have done a bifurcation of the rails of the bridge. Both ways will lead us to the city. Only that a route takes to us for the west coast and the other one goes between the mountains and ends in the east zone of the city. In the way we will see the"Derby Revolution circuit". Yes, yes, like Destruction Derby game. Well, for the present its just an idea. But everything will use. Well, so see this new part:
