hmm i dont see a problem in the line but it is most of the times the IPL number that f*ckes up the game so try to use a FREE ipl / ide number good luck. and some bad news from my side im thinking of reinstalling my pc and format my harddisk will take some time but it really speeds up the performance it now takes a long time to render, load and save files in 3dsmax and also other things take long its pissing my of a bit so i dont think my current lot will be finished soon,

I'll explain what it is.

Its a Mexican District with a bar.
A hill with trees .
An Odie memorial park with a steve-m obelisk and a grave.
An Hotel with interior and roof.
A set of grafited buildings with a latin theme.

Hey Alexg I recomend adding trees and trashbins in your lot. And making the buildings' textures more... realistic.

A grave? Is it just me or is that highly inappropriate? I think that is an absolute sick thing to do, but of course that's my opinion, although I would be extremely surprised if someone said otherwise.

I agree, its a little over the top for my liking.

I thought it was already decided that some form of monument was in order but nothing like a tombstone.

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying. And what you've just said made the whole situation worse from what I see. Think about what you are going to create...

Thats the same way I felt when I read it, and what would a steve-m monument be doing in a graveyard? But by the looks of it, the sketch doesnt look like its ever going to be anything more then a sketch for a long time.. dozingoff.gif

That's probably the worst sketch I've ever seen.
Not only is making an Odie tombstone a sick idea, but you put a giant obelisk in a tiny graveyard (dedicated to Steve-M?? :s ) . Then you've put the graveyard next to a hotel, wich has laundry-lines, wich makes it a very low class hotel. But it does have a heli-platform?? I don't get it.
Ow yeah, and to top it off, you put a sign on one of the buildings that says : 'pharmacy: gays only' . WTF???!! icon13.gif

There already is a monument to Odie, made by me. An entire park that is some 300 metres long on my island which can be seen here:

Anyway I'm not dead people, I took a short break from modelling to do some other things, but I'm back, I'm hoping that releases of lots will come soon, the Museum will be a trouble, as I was finishing it up a little while back I noticed a lot of things wrong with it, so I'll have to do a lot to fix it up.

EDIT: Yeah, just realized the helipad doesn't fit. And the Odies' memorial is too much. I'm making a new sketch, hope this time you like it.

A bit too big on the bang! It is early days.

Thanks to Gforce for pointing me in the direction of the 'object.DAT' file.

Edit: Thanks to JasonB for modelling the PC for the massivesoft corporation.

Sorry, I just checked the lot map and it had Delfi's name on it.

More pending, watch this space.

As I said, It's early days. This was only test No.1
What I've done so far would burn the whole bloody shopping centre down!

A charred, smouldering PC and a cracked, sparking monitor are on the cards.

LOL@explosive pc.

Just the start.
Next up is clothes racks which, when interacted with, rustle and sway (the garments) like the GTA-SA gym punchbag and trigger a rattling sound (how the bloody hell does one do that)?

I'm still very much a 'noob' with regards the 'object.DAT' file and, unless I'm mistaken, the 'MAIN.SCM' currently shipping with MI-SA is uneditable (I tried, failed, and I'm not alone)..

There is a bright side...
The internet is a wonderful place.
If one has a problem, more often than not, someone in the world has already solved it (and it's usually Gforce so reinstate the man).

PS: illspirit. I like the rounded train tunnel exit. Good work.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to actually start modeling something instead of drawing sketches? Sorry to go off-topic.

That's the PC shop done for now. I may make a second generic PC just to vary things and maybe some shop interior signs.

The Sandwich bar is next. Display counter and checkout with cash register (breakable)

I've had a look at the object.DAT 'change_model' when damage occurs but, as of yet, I haven't got my crusty old head around the object heirarchy.
I've examined existing morphable objects, I know that everything is attacked to a dummy called 'group1', but I can't seem to successfully export the .DFF

Can Kam's scripts do this?
Has anybody done this? If so, could they please PM me about it.
