Large Update
Lowriders and street racers moddable
Fixed some glitches in taxi ride, code improved a lot, problems still exists could be path-related
Ladders climbable, use 1428 and 1437 for ladders and don't place them near save points
Loan sharks can be killed by other peds and your own guards
Maverick firefighter mission at the Firehouse
Planet Myriad sign spins
Removed jetpack height
Improved car buying at ODIE's
Overkilling with emergency service uniform will cancel your immunity
More clerks added, those added clerks can be robbed!
Pizza Boy mission all converted by me, located north of the Firehouse
Glitches: Same as in Vice City, don't throw way too much pizzas into one place
Throwing the pizza at the ped can kill it so throw it by its side, this is actually fun for a while
Some bugs fixed

I'm not interested in that mod. Spawning traffic like that deletes many random ped events that are hardcoded in the game, like random drivebys, random aggressive and weak drivers, etc. I had created a driveby mod some time ago but there are problems in it that are not worth installing.

Where is the "ODIE's"

"Loan Sharks" What is that and how do i get them?


"Ladders climbable, use 1428 and 1437" Use 1428 and 1437? How do i do that?

Update Fixes
Fixed counting error with overkilling while in uniform
Fixed error when certain cheats are activated when starting new game
Dancing added, search for the giant dome
Lowrider competition added, search around Joe's

Google loan sharks. It's a real phrase.
You can climb ladders if you place ID 1428 and 1437 around the map.

Great updates, but just have to say a small thing about the 0.69b install pack. It seems when you install the Script pack that is announced in the 0.69b install tread, and then install another update into the same folder, the game crashes on start, if this isn't just me it could be good to write it down in the thread

two things, how do you place out Objects, and is the tune-shop removed in the lastest update?

EDIT:
Must have forgot to add something, the tune shop, buying beer at the bar near ODIE's, lowrider guy, hire guards, and the police motorcyckles doesn't come either. Hm..

I have no idea on how to solve your problem.

New Update
Print screen with F5, saved in the usual gallery folder
Stats page converted to Myriad Islands, press S to save
New cheats! Type PONYFARM while on a jetpack
Type FULLAIM, better than Rockstar's cheat, better than all other drive by mods, but not as good as GTA4
Complete new mission at Brownwater
Cash registers give you money
Improved bench sitting for angled benches

just awesome how some minor changes can make a big difference,

even by looking from the start of the first scm to know i really think there;'s already to much to mention in this scm i havent even tried out everything, only placed it in my game atm and drove arround to see what was in and it looked nice at first sight so good work from there wink.gif

i will try out all the feutures when i found them all out.

great work Space, i finally have some free time to get back to myriad.

i've installed this latest script and all seems to work just fine, i've been adding a few ladders but so far i can't seem to get CJ to climb them yet confused.gif

Great updates, i really liked the PONYFARM cheat.

But what does the cheat FULLAIM really do?

Type FULLAIM, have a gun, enter a vehicle, and press the SECONDARY FIRE button to driveby. The biggest problem, as with Rockstar's cheat, is that the camera forces you to look forward.

awesome work Space, love to see that ducks back in action,

and that garage would be nice to put arround 15 cars in it or something, just put on a nice limit , maybe create ut as an asset so you will need to buy it or unlocking it.

UPDATE

now the highway paths drive as they should, no trespassing cars on the sidewalks anymore, just a litle teaser movie for the public.

edit:

updated the paths file altough im not happy with some results at junctions, so maybe it is needed to remodel some sidewalks to get the paths going the right way at junctions,
so for the people, please let me know what you think, and let me know which junctions ( i guess most of them except the single laned ones) need some fixing.

New Update
The scrapyard garage can successfully save all vehicles (though it doesn't save special attributes like bulletproof)
Glitch exploit: Entering respawned reward vehicles regive you a reward, like 5 shotgun ammos for police cars or $12 for taxis
Odie's Duckshooting converted (ducks not included, needs DUCKRING and TAR_SHOOTING)
Completing Duckshooting will let you switch between hitman and good skills for weapons and switch between different fight moves
Barton's Park Mission converted (needs this)
Helicopter firefighter will not spawn cars inside tunnels
Hold the "/" button to enable instant cinematic mode
Test code a Triad parachuting from a building at random
Illando made an interior, use interior 1, see instructions
Media attention added, only numbers for now, see your stats when causing chaos
Rampage added, look around Opius' giant gray building, complete all 9 to pass
Parachute object animation fix
New cheat! ILOVEDRESSINGUP
Apparently being as another ped fixes the problem of sound not produced correctly when punching a car
Many bug fixes
There could be more but I lost track

i will try it out in a minute, and see what it all brings never actualy taken a look at all the missions so i will now.

btw in your readme you say

EDIT: i tried testing it BUT it tottaly freezes my game at the starting point, you will see the player but then it just freezes, maybe i've missed some or did something wrong let me now Space.

I tried my other scm i had and a stripped one earlier and those worked fine so the interior stuff isnt the problem and so isnt the minigun or the parachute, just let me know

The ducks aren't included. I don't have the final version of the ducks yet. The update needs DUCKRING and TAR_SHOOTING to work. I have placeholders to substitute for the ducks in my game.

k alright then, i will just use the ones i have converted earlier and add them to one of the many img files.

edit:

thanx for the tip, now my game works just fine, besides that the mission of the ducks still crashes when entering i guess thats because i dont have all the right files in, when all the duckstuff is converted the right way we can just release a complete mission package with all the files need.

but my game finnaly runs now, here is the proof wink.gif

Sorry for double posting , but its just another update for the paths.

DOWNLOAD
  • updated park paths (spawning is random so it sometimes looks empty in the park no fix for this yett)
  • Updated the paths at the swimming pool, lots of peds walking arround there now.
  • fixed some minor other ped paths on Illcom
  • changed back the GTI 4 lane highway to its normal standards, only the lot files need to get modified now to fit the road size.
More to come soon,

Wow, I can't believe Deezire actually fixed a lighting problem in San Andreas.

The lighting on CJ and the cars would be noticeable when you copy the file. If you already have edited the file, just add a missing parameter at the end of the line (compare this file with the original to see the changes).

K, i just tried it,

i noticed the detail CJ now has cause of the better lighting the game shows now, you actualy see now his clothes and the litle details instead of a black grey ish look it used to have.

To all just try it out, it is clearly vissable on cars to which appear less dark ish.

litle more stuff from last night, added some paths to the following locations

- Harbor
- Loco's hotel ( at the back , beach side)
- Odie's ( in front)
- Some lots on central Illcom

It sometimes looks kinda empty but really i did made the paths all over the place so its just the streaming capability of thegame which doesnt spawn the peds all the time, it also depends on your movement ingame, the faster you go the less peds will spawn, cars are not involved in this strange way of streaming and spawning.

I am new to Myriad Islands although I love GTA SA very much. I installed MISA ver 0.5 and it runs well. But I am alone in that city. No peds, no cars! Now I see ver 0.69 here. Does this version have playable missions and cars and stuff like original GTASA?

Also please tell me where are all the required files for this version, including step-by-step guide for making it run.

in the recent 0,69 b release thats up here for the public does include some small missions altough there have been lots of progress.

- A new mission script with the following stuff is released as an update after 0,69

- side missions
- vigalante
- small delivery missions
- pizaboy

and numerous other things are in there, its now just waiting for spaceman to turn up and give a update on this and the status.

These are temporary links.

From what I remember, v0.69 had an almost entirely blank and broken mission script. So that version will have almost nothing to do except look at the islands.

Right now I am not working to mod the game. I have this sh*tty schedule that I should follow. Last year I didn't follow it and got a B- average and lost my scholarship so I'm taking a minor vacation right now. I am really hoping that the next version of Myriad Islands be up and ready before GTA4 comes out. Mods like this tend to really go downhill if no major updates are shown after a new game is released (LC mod sad.gif ).

Sorry for posting in so old thread,but can anyone repost latest script for myriad? All links are gone,last i got is scm V22.
