In the final mission the best way to kill smoke is to set him on fire using Molotov cocktail or a flamethrower. He will keep running after he is on fire making it easier to kill him biggrin.gif . Make sure to do the fire fighting missions to become fireproof .

I know something far more easy than your way. Get a minigun and shoot him the health would go down rapidly, a set of 40 bullets would do good. smile.gif

High Noon

1. Make sure you have the minigun with at least 1000 of ammunition.
2. Select the minigun before you enter in the mission. Then enter in the mission.
3. After the cutscenes, wait Pulaski get into the car, then shoot his car with a minigun 'till it flips
4. The car will be in flames. Then Pulaski will pull of the car. Just shoot him (with the minigun) 'till he dies.

Nothing easier.

I can make a video if you need it.

So, to pretty much summarise every mission that involves firearms or killing one another, everything is always easier with a minigun! biggrin.gif

Well, I can't disagree. And to make it even better. There's two minigun spawn points right at the start of the game. Both are in Las Venturas sadly, so you will get 4 stars, but it's not that hard.

Also, you CAN'T KILL BIG SMOKE WITH A ROCKET LAUNCHER!? Why? He just floats all over his room, but not dealing any damage . Silly R*.

Wrong! The mini-gun is 'cute' like the sawn off shotgun, it's cool to hear, etc.
But the RPG or Heat Seeking missile launcher is more effective.
Even the molotov Cocktail has is more useful.
The mini-gun requires you to see the enemy and a LOT of ammo.
The RPG, HS, and MC all have blast radius. You can kill foes on the other side of walls/hedges, floors, and decks and you kill more than one at a time, which is Quite useful during the Turf wars.
The mini-gun usefulness is limited, such as The "Stowaway" mission if you can't operate the Motorcycle and "High Noon" to cripple Polaski's car.
It's terrible in the "up, up, and away", the Heat Seeker is much more effective.

It depends Weasel, really. If somebody shoots at you from a close distance, firing a rocket will kill the opponent but will also take from your own health or armor. A single Minigun bullet kills any pedestrian. Plus, the Rocket Launcher is not as exact as a Minigun, yes it takes down more pedestrians, but it also takes a while to load another rocket.

If the foes are that close you use the Desert Eagle (OS-OK) or Molotov C.

You make CJ fireproof, First. You can pretty much the whole game with DE & MC (except of course when the game forces weapons on CJ.)

FREE FALL
it is one of the interesting mission that i found in GTA SA all that we need is a good flying skill to acccomplish the mission

the easiest way to waste rider by blasting the boats with the help of a rocket launcher

Edit: don't double post, and read other posts before making a 'new' tip.

A Tip for end of the line

If you are not fireproof, then just jump over the fire, you will not be caught in the flames! This saves a lot of time from actually extinguishing the flames.

Also in Pier 69

Just snipe ryder twice from the pier and your'e done. You dont have to get back up on shore

Bike skill DOES NOT improve anything. It only deceases the chance to get thrown off a motorcycle.

Driving skill, bike skill doesn't improve anything(besides falling from bike), MrMateczko is right. BTW speaking of Stowaway it's useful to use minigun there. Destroy Andromada, and just drive there without worrying about Andromada flying off. wink.gif

I remember during my first playthrough of the game it was a lot harder, when I didnt care about raising my bike skill, but in later playthroughs I used to raise by bike skill and it was easier. I guess that fact that Im better at the game now slipped through my mind sorry.

In the mission Dam and Blast to reach the corona it is easy if you drive the plane in big circles..That's the way I do the mission...

EDIT: << 'new' topic merged into existing topic >>

I didn't really know where to put this so I will just post it anyway.

This is how I do the robbing missions in order and my tips for completion.

TANKER COMMANDER
From the diner after picking up Catalina, head to the gas station nearby. Hook up the truck to the tanker as normal. When Derrick and his pal ram the truck, wait for them to reverse then hit the gas. Turn to the right onto the road and head directly west. Avoid running off onto the grass or you could lose the tanker. When you come to the the downhill curve, just coast and brake gently also avoid crashing at the final left turn.

LIQUOR STORE
After KING IN EXILE, there will be a Sanchez parked next to the trailer. Take this because you will need it. Ride it to meet Catalina then head to the liquor store. After the cutscene, hop off the quad bike and turn to your right and jump on the Sanchez, making this mission a lot easier to manage than the weird handling quad bike. When you get back to the hideout, park the Sanchez away from the hideout, near the other car, otherwise it could disappear due to the next cutscene.

AGAINST ALL ODDS
Again, using the Sanchez, ride to the betting shop and do the mission as usual. Stand away from the door when you blast it, this thing is explosive. When you come out, turn left past the police and onto the grass. You will have a 3 star wanted level. Head down the dirt track that leads under the bridge where a bribe star is located. Do not shoot at the police, although Catalina might.
When you head back the same way you came, you will see your wanted level has gone down to one star. Now just head back to the hideout and if the star still remains, hop off the bike and crouch down for a while and it disappears.
This just saved you a long trip to the Pay n Spray!
SMALL TOWN BANK
When you are guarding the people in the bank, just shoot the guard. The alarm goes off no matter how long you manage to keep their arms up and the guard will shoot at you. The last part of the mission all I can advise is make sure you get that bribe star under the bridge (same one from last mission) and when Catalina falls off her bike, stop so she can get on and do a 180 and get out of there without shooting any police.
Hope you found my guide helpful guys.

Found a new way to escape out of the Quarry in Explosive Situation. Instead of using the ramps shown in the cutscene, ride the Sanchez up the normal pathway to where you'll see the exit has been blocked off. There is a pathetic white barrier and 3 security guards and their vans. Kill the guards, then back up a security van to the fence. Jump onto the roof of the van and jump over the fence, making an easy escape. Now just grab a vehicle from the parking area and the red marker is a short drive away.

Easy paramedic mission completion:

First, remove the ambulances doors (preferably with a baseball bat or chainsaw) so patients can get in faster. The best place to do this is Angel Pine because all patients are clustered in that vicinity. In Los Santos, Las Venturas, San Fierro, and other parts of the countryside (Fort Carson, El Quebrados, etc) the patients are scattered allover. Also, in Angel Pine the farthest patient appears only about ten seconds from the medical center. I finished the missions in under ten minutes. Cops don't appear very often which will help your wanted level remain low.

Mind if I give mine too?

FREEFALL:
Even if you have crappy flying skills, once that the game says "Get behind the plane and fly into the corona", immediately turn to the opposite direction. Make sure to not bump the Shamal in doing this. And also make sure you're at a very high altitude because descending makes it faster than ascending.

END OF THE LINE part 2 w/o minigun

If you are to shoot Big Smoke, make sure you shoot him in the head with an M4. Big Smoke is inaccurate in shooting so just shoot him in the head. Notice how Big Smoke's health goes down easily.

WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS
Get ahead of the train and stay at a high area. Once you see the train pass, jump. Make sure you have a lot of ammo(MP5, AK47 or M4 with a lot of ammo will do), then shoot the Vagos.

Vertical Bird
Don't get nervous when flying. Just be calm and careful then you'll be alright. If you are on hover mode, make sure you are not in the low altitude.

You've had your chips
Just steal a Rhino from Area 69. If you didn't kill all of the Mafia, the wanted level is disabled.

Wu Zi Mu
IMO I would prefer a car that is below average to average. Also remember to release gas and brake at critical turns.

Farewell My Love...
Be careful in driving. Once you are far ahead from the opponents, you can slow down and keep calm. Avoid high speed crashes as well as that can lead to car flipping. Release gas if necessary.

Drive-By
Not an actual tip on how to complete this mission, but since this is the first mission that has wanted stars disabled, you could collect all horseshoes, snapshots and oysters at this early point of the game. You could also explore Area 69 and also do a Minigun run. (AFAIK the minigun in SF is unobtainable).
To do this, don't enter the car after the opening cutscene and you can start exploring now.

The Da Nang Thang
After the helicopter crashes, don't swim to the marker. Instead you can collect weapons, and (i think) wanted levels are also disabled in this mission. So you could also get a Minigun and clear all the Da Nang Boys.

Before playing Explosive Situation, make sure you complete Green Goo first. Get the jet-pack, activate Explosive Situation, and then use the jet-pack to escape (after swiping the dynamite) instead of the Sanchez. Much easier (and quicker) to get around the guards that way.

***To Save Your Time Waiting For Missions***

You know those ones, the 1200-2000 ones. What I like to call 'Time Sensitive' missions.
Here are some ways you can save time by finishing a mission at an exact time to go straight to those time sensitive missions that will then be available.
*** List of Time Sensitive Missions ***
Knowing what these missions are named always helps so that you are aware of when it comes up.
Home Invasion 1200-2000
Life's a Beach 2200-0600
Management Issues 1200-0500
House Party 2000-0500
Los Sepulcros 0900-1700
Ice Cold Killa 2000-0600
Amphibious Assault 2000-0600
Black Project 2000-0600
Key To Her Heart (best to start at 0200)
Up, Up and Away 2000-0600

So what I'm going to explain here is the best time to START the mission that comes BEFORE a time sensitive mission, based on my own style of playing through experimentation and average time to complete the mission, so you can save time instead of waiting around for a time sensitive mission to be available.

HOME INVASION 1200-2000
Complete all of Sweet's missions 1st, the last one in the beginning will be 'Cesar Vialpando'
Start that mission at 0800 then by the time you are done, Home Invasion will be active.

LIFE'S A BEACH 2200-0600
Start the mission 'Og Loc' at 1200 then you drop Og Loc off at Burger Shot and if you time it straight on 2200 then you're good to go.

MANAGEMENT ISSUES 1200-0600
Start 'Madd Dogs Rhymes' at 0200 then by the time you get back to Og Loc, the mission will be active.

ICE COLD KILLA 2000-0600
Start 'Snail Trail' right on 0500 then by the time you get back to Doherty the mission will be active.

AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT 2000-0600
Complete all woozie missions up to 'Lure' then do everything else up to 'Pier 69'
Then start 'Toreno's Last Flight' at 1500. You should be done by 1800. This gives you a few mins to get extra health or armor then Amphibious Assault will be active.

Black Project 2000-0600
This was an effort to find an exact time to have this active and ready straight after the mission, Stow Away.
It all begins with 'Learning how to Fly'
Start this mission at 1830.
Average time to complete = 10 game hours.
Then start 'N.O.E.' at 0430. This is a good idea too because you will be flying in the daylight which is easier.
Average time to complete = 7 game hours.
You should get back to Verdant Meadows at about 1130.
Then start 'Stow Away' bang on 1200.
Average time to complete = 6 game hours.
You should be on the ground and moving to Verdant Meadows by 1800, giving you 2 minutes to head back and get ready for Black Project at 2000.

Key To Her Heart isn't a time sensitive mission but I've found if you start at 0200 as you enter the red marker at the casino, by the time you get all the way back to Millie's the time will be close to 1200 which is when she's available so you can get another date squeezed in to save time.

UP, UP AND AWAY! 2000-0600
It is better to wait until nearly 0600 to start this mission just because it's better to see in the daytime. Start the mission 'Cop Wheels' at 1400 then by the time you're finished, it will be close on 0400 giving time to start the mission.

Hope you enjoyed this info to save your time waiting for Time Sensitive missions!

High Noon

This is a tip I got somewhere else on the web. Have a sniper rifle ready before entering the red marker and triggering the mission. As soon as the cutscene ends, aim for the tires on Pulaski's car. You should be able to shoot out at least two before he reaches it. Now, he's easy to catch.

Another tip for this mission: have a heat seeking rocket launcher. As soon as you do the tip above and Pulaski starts driving away, blast him!

//edit by Wolf68k
Don't mean to step on your toes but any gun will work, just aim for the tires.
I'll use the M4/AK-47 or the minigun and aim at the tires and have the SMG for my drive-by gun because it does more damage.

Heat seeking launcher doesn't kill him or destroy the car on PS2 playstation network version.
