Its not really a game that easily fits into a Demo, for them to fit stuff into a demo sized file you'd end up with one small block of the city with not much else to do. GTA1 and 2 are quite fifferent games for the main fact of them being top-down as opposed to full 3D.

Here are reasons why there isnt a Demo:

1. It wouldn't really be a demo, you would be pretty much given the game.
2. It could only be a demo if they forced you into mission that had a timer which they don't have time to do
3. Who wants a demo? Why not just get the whole game from a friend or something?

There you go, 3 unintelligent reasons why there is no Demo for GTA San Andreas. dontgetit.gif

As GTA3Freak says, you wouldn't expect a game like Grand Theft Auto to fit onto a demo and have people play it. You wouldn't have much of the game to explore, considering game companies don't want to give too much a way in a demo (of course they'd only want to give you a taster) and then there's the missions, Rockstar would have to take them completely off and almost likely cut off 7/8's of the game map off. So, no. There isn't a San Andreas demo. Just buy the game from eBay/a store or something, it's not that hard and if you really want to play it then you'll just go ahead and buy it.

Here's an actual GTA:SA player's testimonial. This player was not compensated by Rockstar, Rockstar North or Take Two Interactive for his testimonial, and this is not a dramatization:

GTA: San Andreas rules! Buy it!

Well, there you have it. Pick it up, and you won't be disappointed.

If you want to get into modding, look online to see if you can get a Version 1 copy. If modding is not your thing, the version you can buy today in the stores will work for you.

And by modding, he doesnt mean pull out programs and mod your own stuff, he means it as if you want to put in new maps, weapons and cars into your game. Which is sadly disabled in version 2.

Thats why I got mine on ebay :-D

Did you see the date of the last post? It's been more than a year; there was no need whatsoever to bump this topic. And please do NOT suggest torrents or any kind of warez.
