As you can see. I haven't done nothing either. I'm busy with my lot4 on the left part of Citá di Corruzione. Here are some screens:

Big update by Twenty Eyes and me (Wazuup). We've made a alcatraz-like Island which is located in the north of the two main Islands of Mafia Stories. It is now in a final stage, and we've made 10 screens for you guys:

Lack of lighting. Now that there's tutorial for anyone, nobody has any excuse for not having any vertex prelit models.

I'm still alive =D
I was testing a bit with reflections and stuff.
A bit with radiosity stuf aswell the only problem is that sa has another light..(the sun)
And that makes it al much brighter.

I'll find a solution for that.

Only one prob it doesnt work in the extirior heaven I'll find a solution for that aswell i think =D

you can make a "reflection" for the exterior . Under the 3D object duplicate it like in the mirror and than make the ground seamy transparent where the object will be. do not make that object movable .. smile.gif In the ground you will see the duplicate of the object.

I have made my own MAX Script specially for the MS members, it's a toolbox that has almost every gta max script there is.

Because of all the copyrights of the scripts i can't release it outside my mod.

First screen... Toooo high-poly... I think GTA don't need such quality... Of course it's good, but the glitches will be...

It's not that high poly, something like 1300. There won't be any glitches...

this looks like a very cool map, really looking forward to seeing more, tho get that satelite dish outta there lol!

you may be interested in using some things from my little known godfather mod tc for this mod, it was pedestrians and characters etc that could fit well if youre interested as it had gangs, the main characters and much much more

i am not simply advertising this, i just thought you might find some stuff compatable/useful, and i really like the look of this mod and would be glad to help!

Dirty, The toolbox is just a collection of other tools that can be found on thits forum. So if you want the tools, check the tools section. Blaster only made a menu, so you can choose what tool you want to load up.. He dint make the tools itsself


As fo the yellow lights thing, should be posible, trough RW Analize. Tough, i need to find out how sigh.gif .

Hello all.... Good mod you guys have here:
Blazer: 13k is too much polycount for that building, user wont see that detail in GTA,so take care about them...

the light can be made yellow, pink, red and Jos's color (thats pink), just set the omni light in the color you want, in the 3d max scene. anyway you can edit it trough the DFF using rw analizer though-

Some buildings looks boxy too. Boring, you know.

Doing high poly models in gta without a good lighting on the model for the people to discover all the details is pretty useless. SO think to light every hi-poly model correctly. Atm i don't see any.
