the readme is nice, so here it's all explained :
and I nearly forgot, but you need the files HERE :

MMMV2.zip or MMMV2.zip
(Guys I see many many people linking/downloading old versions, there are only moved so you still can choose, but please link to the new version)

or at GTAGarage : MMMV2(not available for now, I will reupload it again soon)

This is version 2 of awesome Mission Master Mod from PatrickW

1. HoW to use

Copy the files main.scm and script.img in the folder script which is in the folder data of the game
folder (default path is C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\data\script).

It is highly recommanded to backup the old files !!!!!!

You have to start a new game you can't load original savegames. But after started a
new game you can save just as you can in the original game. Some saving places (like Toreno's ranch,
Doherty garage or the trailer in Angel Pine) won't be available from the start you'll have to finish
a mission to get it.

You can start almost any mission by pressing "Control gang back" and "NO"
which are H and N by default at the same time. By selecting "and I mean everything"
you change to a new panel of mission. To start Schools, Trucking, Quarry and Races tournament
you still need to get there.




2. What's different in the new version

Now you can access to all shops (binco, ammunations, transfender, gym...) from the straight
begining, and you don't have to go to your hood.

Gang wars are available from the start and shouldn't ever be off no more, but you'll still
loose the territories like after the green sabre mission (pretty cool if you got the whole
city and you want to do more gang wars).

All shools are open from begining, and all race tournaments too.

All properties are buyable right away (including Wang cars, abandonned air strip, Zero shop)
but to get Madd dog mansion you still got to do "Madd dog's crib", and to get money assets
you'll have to finish all the missions of the property (Four Dragon Casino, Doherty, Zero...)



3. General comment

As it's not an open everything mod, not everythig is available, you'll have to do the mission
that gives the reward you want.

You won't get annoying phonecalls to go to the next mission(no need for them non more), but you should still get
girlfriends and debt calls.

----coding comments------
What I'd called the mission agent (the code that enable new missions) is also gone (there is
absolutly no more use of it, as mission calls, since you can start any mission anytime).

Note that, this liposuction of the main part (before --mission 0 --) makes it pretty skinny (around 165k) which is pretty
cool if you want to inject some code in there, well you've got now 35k free. Note too that the "help"
is still there so you can take it off if you need more...

And I'll be happy to know if someone uses this on Xbox or Ps2.

The file has been compiled with Sanny Builder 2.9.

Small question, what about those missions were Cesar calls you to hit the courier?, are they selecteble as well?

@El_Venezolano: they are too !!! the trouble is i don't think they will ever stop !!!!!!!
well to start getting the phone calls select King in Exile, it's not a real mission but Ceasar will call you and it will start.
But as I said I really don't think they ever will stop. So the best thing would be to save before. or keep getting the (bloody) calls...
I'm sorry about that, i might think of something that turn on and off whenever you want later.
But the good thing is that you can do them if you want to.


I have check that the debt fonecalls works, they do. So no reasons for the girly ones not to.

Excellent work from tomworld10 i must confess, this is another version of demarest famous timetwister, i love the interface, the way you choose your mission is cool, regarding to ceaser's call, to me, it's ok if it desn't stop forever as long as you've got option to do it or not, good work though.

My question now is i've dl the v1 long time ago and it craches a lot, so i don't use it no more, but i missed it, now with v2 is it more stable? Thanks

@pozer: I do think like you, as long as you can do it by selecting the option it's fine. But you worrying me telling that V1 was unstable. I havn't noticed any bug myself on either version. Anyway V2 should be more stable because it's lighter and it has then much less things to do and to check. But if you still get crashes repetitivly (the same crash, at the same moment, everytime) tell me here when and what you've done to crash it and send me over a savegame closest to it.

You shouldn't need the source file, you can just open the mod's main.scm file included in it's download at the top wink.gif .

ive expirienced sevral crashes in the Flowers in Your Hair mission... is there a reason for that?

No there isn't any reasons, I've checked and I don't crash at all. But can you retry and give me more details on the "several crashes" you've experienced (if you still do).

ok this time its for real! a Bug... the last mission... end of the line is unpassable... after u kill big smoke the screen just fades and thats it... black screen till u load/quit the game =[ any reason for that?

hey, i was so happy to read this info about the bugfix !!!!

BUT - now i am not able to start a new or load a game ???
After a new game start ( loading screen done ) gta crash back to windows.... same by loading a save ( from v2 ).

please help this mod is really awesome it bring new sense in playing gta SA.

once again - after change the main and scripts file to v2 is it possible to play again.

@xasterman : Sorry I wasn't sure about it but to use new version you need to start a new game, you can't load your savegames. Just do like you did first with the mod start a new game. I'm sorry about that.

There is a way that could get you to use your savegames but if you didn't know you had to start a new game, I suppose you like better start a new game than looking fot darkpact and use it....

You might want to back-up your v2.0 savegames and file so you can switch back to your old savegames.

thanks for your fast reply.

i have tried to start a new game but it crashs also. suicidal.gif
after this i copy the main and scrips file back to v2.
Start new game works.
Once again i changed this files to v2.1 same result - crash after loading
screen ( the loading bar is full the picture will switch to the ingame -- than crash ) from a new game or save. What is the problem ?

Sorry was my mistake, I must have mess up with files, anyway it's fixed and update. I should have tried it first before posting, sorry again.



Please tell me if v2.0 savegames work or not, I'm not sure.

perfect the new files working . start new game is working fine ( played the "end of the line" to the finish) , but a save from v2 will not load it ends in a crash !

you told us something about darkpact ?!?!
is there a way to get the save v2 working with the bugfix v2.11 ???

to make this sure - the mod is awesome !

For now I'm not able to finish Nines and AK's, I get the 'You destroyed Smoke's car' line after the cutscene with Emmet ends.
And I won't finish too 'Reuniting the Families'. After Smoke and Ryder come back to pick Carl and Sweet, the car stops and won't continue..

@Groo : Well I'm sorry but I do, I've finish both those missions. It must be from something else, not from my mod.




Please claim real bugs, not bugs that don't come from MMMV2.1, so please check and double check, and triple check that it really does come from this mod.
