I hate posting without a pic, however I was on my motorcycle and unable to do so.

Yesterday whilst hopping on the freeway I spot a low-profile silver car in the distance. I couldn't quite make it out but I was intrigued. I jumped on the throttle (hitting about 90) until I was within closing distance.

It was a Veyron.

Not only that but a Grand Sport. All silver with the cognac interior. Guy even gave me a thumbs up as I rode next to him. Totally made my day.

Do you remember when I told you about Pontiac Ventura? Today when I was walking the same street I've seen couple of jewels:

Porsche 911 Targa

I've also seen 1930 Horch 429, some kind of Auto Union from '30, Rolls Royce Phantom V and ZiL - 110B, but unfortunately I couldn't take their pics. They probably have some oldtimers meeting today.

I saw a Lamborghini Countach on Interstate 15 between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It drove past pretty quickly so i couldn't snap a picture. As far as i know only about 2,000 of those were made so i would say its a rare sight.

Spotted this GAZ M20 Pobeda on a recent trip to Vilnius. Hardly anything left original about it, except the shape.

Nice one...looks really similar to one made in Estonia. It looked exactly the same, black body and similar rims, also widened wheelarches. But it had a 7 series BMWs V12 in it.

Nice find Kokot! I love the idea of a classic over a modern car. All the style without too many of the age related problems. Not really diggin' those rims though.

Must've been a nice area you were in, what with the CLS, Z4 and 5er in the background (please correct me if I'm wrong)

I'll correct wink.gif , seems to be a CL not a CLS.

Chap down my road has a Mitsubishi GTO Road Racer. White stripes over red. Fully stripped out, caged, rebuilt at immense expense.

It's running around one thousand horses.

I'll get pictures if he leaves it outside in daylight.

I know the dude, he is a cool chap. I don't like his 911 that much though.

As for the Pobieda, its a Jaguar XJ6 chassis, interior engine (even mirrors) with a Pobieda body.

I like it too, I would rather sink 20 grand into an old car then go out and buy one that looks like thousands of others. If it's done tastefully, of course.

It's just the old town Vilnius, across from there is the Radisson hotel and Turkish embassy. Typical ex-communist country, loads of really nice cars (high end Mercs, Range Rovers, Porsches, 7 Series Beemers etc) surrounded by dire outer city limits and homeless people.

Anyway...

Had seen this red Diablo roaming around my street a couple of times, never parked.
Today I saw it parked and managed to take some photos and even chat with the owner, who was a pretty cool guy.

With those newer model rims, which seems like are from the 348, it looks way newer then it actually is. Great find indeed.

F*cking nice carbon paint and rims. Is this X6M or X6? Hard to see difference.

What the f*ck is "carbon paint"?

Just looks matte or something to me.

Kinda remind me of something from Mansory.
