hmm maybe worth a try, maybe i should get back on my lot again its released already but its not totaly filled yett.

Congratulations sir on being the first to release for MI SA.
How to get so much building in such a small lot? Answer... build up!
I like a nice tall building and yours is so very very tall.
Good work, may it be the first of many.

One suggestion. Why not release the lot with two .dffs, one for the building and one for the lot which could then use standard illcom.txd and avoid duplication?

PS. I haven't put in the LOD yet as I can't get my old head around this 1.3.5.7 nonsense. Oh well trawl the tutorials.

But I got some problems.
I probably messed things up with installing it, but the lod seems to kick in kinda late. The building shows up when you're, let's say, 100 m from it. For instance, I can't see it from Steve's bridge.
The building itself is very bright, you can barely see the textures.
Does your lod has the letters up front modeled too? Otherwise I might just messed up the lod with the 'normal' dff.

edit: yeah, I forgot: it also turns up white in Med.

It isn't convenient, and create mess with IPL LODs (as i see in Gforce's SA IPL-files in MI-SA LODs theme).

I can see it from illnorth middle. I am convinced, that you incorrectly installed LOD.

This is max NEAR object distance (300).

I've installed LOT once again, and all works well... Probably, it that at me GT-1 version (but, I've changed coordinates X:-600 Y:1100 Y:-6). If you badly understand, how to install it, wait Gforce's MI-SA 0.5 release.

If you havent noticed mine lot is part of the Grand Tani islands so you may not see it i released it a while ago but it wasnt implemented yet in Gforce Installer so if you are searching for it here is the link

All info is included it even prevents the random crash around my lot that i had earlier it was an bug in the LODS files that is now solved it includes most of the stuff and i combined some of the textures to make 1 big texture file. Maybe we need the centralized Download Center back and add all the already released lots For GTA-SA this way people can try them out while Gforce is converting the old lots.

Anyway Good work on your skyscraper it looks alright i may need to take a closer look and put it in my game from the stuff im seeing on the mapper screen it lags a bit on detail but i could be wrong its not that i dont like it and i didnt seen it ingame yet so dont mind .

Version 1.1 release! Now lot is fully completed, so Gforce can include illcom_c2_r2 to SA-MI v0.4.
Features:
1. New lighting.
2. Removed unnecessary faces.
3. 2 bugs fixed.

try these ipl lines instead.

2060, illcom_c2_r2, 0, -450.435, 523.722, -3, 0, 0, 0, 1, 7
2061, LODcom_c2_r2, 0, -450.435, 523.722, -3, 0, 0, 0, 1, -1

note the "," in the original ipl lines

he may used some ID nummbers that were used in GTI i havent tried it out yett since im kinda bussy getting GTI back on track.

I've downloaded your new file but I still get the same problems. I've got GTI installed too, so yeah, maybe an ID mixup.
(Damn, finally there's a new lot release and I can't get it to work suicidal.gif )

When I got some time I might try it on a fresh install of just the blank baseland.

Once again - I put lot to GT-1's SA-package (thanks to my provider) and then changed coordinates.

i have mentioned this before but just incase you missed it, when i added GTI and Myriad together i simply added a "1" to the start of all ID numbers for illcom and illsub, so the true ID numbers for the installer release is as follows for this lot :-

12060, illcom_c2_r2, 0, -450.435, 523.722, -3, 0, 0, 0, 1, 7
12061, LODcom_c2_r2, 0, -450.435, 523.722, -3, 0, 0, 0, 1, -1

i felt it would simplify things as GTI was using the 2k range of ID numbers ........... sorry if this has confused some people.

i HAVE found the problem it is using an ID slot of the current GTI island im still finding out which ide's were used when developping gti but i almost got an clear list now.
