IMPORTANT - IF YOU DOWNLOADED THE VICE OR LIBERTY STUDIOS 3.0 SOURCE, THEY ARE THE WRONG FILES. Long story. Vice and Liberty are now updated with the proper sources. smile.gif

GTA Studios is a suite of filming mods to help in making movies using the Grand Theft Auto series of games. These mods give you full control of peds, cars, enviornments, whatever!

Ok, before anyone asks, why yes, we DO have San An Studios. smile.gif

- Added "Storage"; all peds and cars created can now be "stored" for later recall. Should be especially useful for reshoots. Note that this is session specific.
- Added teleporter script; now you can instantly teleport to one of 30 fabulous locations in San Andreas! Thanks to SA-MP's debug mode.
- Added aircraft/boat pursuit. The Hunter and Hydra will attack the player as well if you want. VERY experimental; don't expect fabulous results yet.
- Fixed driveby; now works with peds AND the player. Thanks to Mike from the SA-MP team for his insight on this.
- Added "Player Car Grab" - any vehicle the player enters can become Car1 by pressing HOME + C.
- Re-added Weather Text; not sure why it was removed, but it's back now.
- Weapon selection is now like choosing peds/cars. Should be easier to use now.
- Added 5 "gamespeed" controls; super slow, really slow, slow, meduim and normal. Can you find the goofy in-joke inside GAMEKEYS.txt?



The "banks" are the most important part of this mod. The Animation/Creation controls have been removed, so ALL animations and creation routines are now available at the same time. Huzza! smile.gif

In case there's any confusion about the above, no matter what version you have or how you went about getting it, this REQUIRES a v1.0 US or EU exe to work. Don't ask where to get one.

update), the file size is about the same due to VS2005 bloating the hell out of it.
- The mod now begins "the mission" immediately, skipping the tutorial. The tutorial
is still there; press INSERT + BACKSPACE to view it.
- Includes a "Green Screen" map mod for use with video editors that support
compositing. See the "Pawfect Green Screen Show" directory for installation
instructions. This mod is provided by Johnline (www.freewebs.com/ricoswavae) and
is used with permission.
- Added controls to enable/disable the Green Screen mod
- Added controls to enable/disable the debris that floats on the ground.
- Included a new "invisible" skin for compatibility with the v6 and v7 BETAS of
GTA:LC.

Vice Studios:

Same except the invisible skin.

To use, READ THE README. Then drop the Vice/Liberty Studios .asi file into your GTA:VC/GTA:LC folder. Then, READ THE README. There are links below.

Also, since Spookie never got back to me either way, I'm releasing the source files for these two mods, in case anyone wants to play around with them. Use them as you like, but please credit Spookie and myself.

IMPORTANT BUG FIXED. Version remains the same though, so just redownload version 3.1.

Also fixed the documentation; Shake Camera is INSERT + X, not S (which is the player skin changer).

Sources have been updated too.

This is very useful and contains everything what's important in movie making.

But, for some reason, this makes my SA crash too many times... especially when I'm searching peds, or when I press backspace. Everytime I press Delete + Backspace this crashes.

Otherwise, really good job.

That's really odd. I just tested that and it works peachy...

Hmmm. Do you have anything special assigned to delete and/or backspace?

Is your version of GTA SA modded? Running trainers? Sharing keys with CamHack?

Just trying to see if I can duplicate this. Lemmie know; I'll try to help. smile.gif

I cannot make my PED 1 move to my car. This what I did

Works fine in VC, haven't tried GTA 3, but SA never works for me. I far as to create the car and ped, but that's it



I have a No CD crack, will it work with that?

Everything's right EXCEPT after you create the car, you have to turn on the animation engine with INSERT + A. To go back to car & ped creation/deletion, press DELETE + A. smile.gif

I have lots of mods, but it happened only several times and I think that the whole problem is now disappeared.

But I found a new one; when you set a new time and start searching different times, the new problem is hunger. After you're gone ahead about 24 hours when searching different times, CJ will become hungry. Then, if I continue my advancement in time, I will lost all my fat/muscle, and finally CJ will die. Bit disturbing...

Some possibility to toggle hunger on or off would be nice.

Type in this before setting time:

AEDUWNV = Never Get Hungry (edisoncarter)

or

CrackheadChinaMenu = Never get hungry. (mine)

I don't think there's an SCM control for hunger. If there is, someone let me know, and I'll slug it in. For now, the above cheats work fine. Mine is longer, but eaiser to remember.

EDIT: This must be the result of another mod, beucause I just checked time selection, and the day NEVER changes, no matter how forward or backward you go. The cheats above should still solve it, but I thought people should know that this is not a problem with un-modded games. smile.gif

Liberty Studios is essentially the same except it's built for use with the Total Conversion GTA:LC, which takes the GTA III world and missions and puts them into the Vice City engine (found under hosted mods as GTA: Liberty City).

Sorry, but no. The hook was coded for Vice, and therefore easy for me to port.

San An Studios update - fixed a couple of bugs. See the first post for the new downloads (source updated too)...

Also, the Transfender shops WILL mod any spawned cars (well, any cars that can normally be modded), but you MUST turn of the Animation Info Panel (DELETE + I) to make any selections. Same goes for ANY shops (food, clothes, etc) that use a menu. Re-enable the Anim Panel with INSERT + I.

To anyone having problems with the camera ped crashing the game, please post here along with what mods you are using. I can't seem to crash it, so it must be a mod issue. Same goes for those having troubles with Car 2.

Fun fact - you can re-explode cars as many times as you want. Looks really neat. smile.gif

How to make the ppl shoot with the weapons? :s i see no reason for putting em in when they arent able to use em tounge.gif

Use a PED MODIFIER (LF SHIFT, LF CONTROL, etc) plus 1 through 9 or F4.

It's in the READ ME. (This is the San An Version, but the Vice/Liberty controls are very similar)

Create your peds, then press the MODIFIER + F7 to cycle the weapons. Press a
MODIFIER + F8 to clear the weapon.

Ok, great; they've got guns. Now what? Well, sick 'em on other peds! Press a MODIFIER
+ 1-9 (depending on the ped) to have it attack that ped. The Peds you choose must be
created or nothing will happen (though it will NOT crash). For instance, if you want
Ped 1 to attack Ped 2, press LEFT SHIFT + 2 and it will attack. To have Ped 2 fight
back, press LEFT CONTROL + 1. The Three Ped group has a "swarm" control, where all three
peds will attack 1. If you choose to fight the same ped your controlling (i.e.,
LEFT SHIFT + 1), the ped will fight as if there is someone there, almost like
shadowboxing.

Still bored? Ok, but don't say I didn't warn you. Press a MODIFIER + F4 and the ped will
attack the player! You can do this with all 9 peds (individual peds 1-6, and the Three
Group peds) for a nice round of mini deathmatch/rampage. Oh yes, all peds now have a max
health of 2000 points, so they won't go down easily!

So it is NOT possible to make an actor point at a given location and make em shoot?

btw: thought about adding sum features to ur code and create a nice ui. Maybe i will do when i have got a free min... So you could have a timeline etc smile.gif
