This tutorial will tell you how to get your textures up and running in Zmodeller when you're editing a pre- made made car model. When I started car modelling, I couldn't figure out why my car's textures wouldn't appear in- game. This will show you how to do this.
NOTE: THIS TUTORIAL DOESN'T COVER UV MAPPING!




First, make sure both your txd and dff files you shall be working on/ editing are located in the same directory, like this:

Next, open the txd file of the car you are working on, and select all of the textures. Then right click and select: export / texture + alpha / Normal (*.tga)

Now select the folder containing the txd and dff files you shall be working on. After selecting this, the folder containing your project's files should look like this:

Now all you have to do is start up zmodeller and load the dff file located in the directory containing our project's files. Your car in zmodeller should now have full textures, like this:
