If anyone has completed lots in .z3d format (version 1 plz) or .3ds format and doesn't know how to get them in game then PM me and I will get them in game for you.
I can not get models that have been imported from .dff into .3ds files in game though as they mess up somehow
This is the point where Myriad either dies or comes back to life.
Uhm knife the dff files can actualy be converted to 3ds or be putted in 3dsmax and exported again in SA format i did this with all mine lots of vice city.
How it works:
Just import the dff in 3dsmax with Kams IO. (sometimes dff's are locked)
also be sure the bmp's are in the same map as the dff.
Now just press M and pick texture from object, and now open up every texture and
select the button show map in viewport this shows the textures in the viewports like perspective and user view.
after you have done that you can just press export on the DFF IO.
And im also willing to convert lots if people cant do it their self.
and 1 other thing to unlock dff files just import them in zmodeler and export them as 3ds and also be sure u have placed the BMP or TGA files in the same map as the dff.
im now bussy too to get my old GTI files back in Myriad islands again since i already had some buildings finished but they seem to crash.
