So I ended up seeing Doom at a friend's house today. What can I say about this movie... during the first half hour it was fun to laugh at The Rock's goofy faces and the general crapiness of the whole. Then it starts to get very boring. Most of the movie was spent with people just looking at each other not saying anything; waiting for a monster to pop out - - - which eventually feels like it's never going to happen. And it stars a guy who calls himself The Rock. So what you get is a lame action movie without any action. I mean; I expected bad, but not so horribly BORING.

Well technically, if, say he bought the dvd from a street vendor in Chinatown, he did pay for it.

You lame tumbleweeds. I talk about a movie and all you talk about is how I saw it? Friend's dad works at Blockbuster. Employees get to take home 5 movies a week; and they actually recieve movies some time before they're 'released'... so did anyone see this in the theatres and notice how BORING it is?

You fail at shutting the f*ck up.

Slip up again, and you'll receive a warning.

As I said, don't make me lock this. Talk about the movie, not how he saw it.

I work at hollywood video. And all video store recieving works pretty much the same. You get them a week before hand and are able to watch them. Doom won't come till this next wed or thursday for employees of video stores to rent. So his dad couldn't have gotten it yet unless for some completely unknown reason his store got a missshipment which result in the movies coming 2 weeks to soon.

sheesh. the lies people try and pass on me. tounge.gif

sarcasm.gif Ok; let's pretend that I didn't see the movie. Let's pretend that there would be a point for me to say that I did. Let's pretend that the movie isn't BORING at all- that it's actually overflowing with excitement and everyone should see it. Then let's pretend that any of us really care.

But suppose someone goes to see a movie based on Doom ; you'd expect a sh*tload of guns, demons, and f*cking hell unleashed; but instead you get very 'interesting' conversations about where the monsters come from; why they have a 24th chromosome; and eventually wonder if there is going to be any satisfying violence at all. It felt like the first hour-and-half was all boring talking and bullsh*t. We were drunk and decided to watch it to laugh. I can't wait til Animaniacs comes out on DVD.

Animaniacs for life, yo. cool.gif
