The damage has been done.. tounge.gif

I didn't mind that way of doing the drug dealing. The way I likened it was if you were nervous you may f*ck it up, just like a real drug deal. But if you were playing it cool, you could earn some good cash. tounge.gif Not to say it can't be improved.

Man, that game was so good. Pity a sequel got canned.

Because I'm sure if he had of started a new topic, some wise crack would of searched, dug this up then gone "Use the search next time, that's what its for" So either way, he was f*cked.

No rules in bumping I don't think.. he did no harm.

I recall playing this game and it was f*cking horrible. One of my worst investments.

Never played the game but always thought about purchasing it. I feel like it's a too late to pick it up now but I'm sure another will be made for Next Gen some where down the line.

It was a great game at the time, but it really doesn't age well at all. I tried playing it out of curiosity last year and trust me, the "magic" isn't there anymore.

I enjoyed having to launder the money you earned before it officially became part of your bank account. It led for some interesting situations where I was fighting for my life in order to hold on to a mil or two in dirty money.

I think if they hire the right actors and make a compelling story it will succeed although they need to reference back to the original and hire the old actors as well.

Since topic is alive again, Scarface:TWIY was great game, sure it was flat in some aspects, city could be bigger and driving physics was a bit off, but nonetheless it was worth it. It was a bit hard to finish it as I had to repeat Bolivia couple of times, but I definitely spent time in good way.

That was quite a bump, but when it already happened ...anybody think this will come on PSN/LIVE, that would probably sell good, especially becouse PC version doesn't work on OS after XP?

It works on my Vista, not sure about 7 and 8

On a side note, i remember this game. It was awesome haha.
It wasn't as good as say GTA or just cause but i loved the shooting in it, it is a pretty good game smile.gif

Looking back on the grpahics, something was up with the shadows. It was awfully strange, it turned yellow at some points.
Oh well, had a good time with it.

If you're intrested in wasting any time play it

Yet another bump! But this one is helpful. It's full of help and stuff.

You can play it on Windows 7. I play it occasionally on Win 7 Ultimate x64.

And here's how:

1. Install 3D Ripper DX Version 1.8 works fine. Don't know about the newer one.

2. Select 3Ds Max 9x 32 bits

3. Select 3Ds Max 2009 and 2010 32/64 bits

4. When you done to installing click Launch 3D Ripper DX and finish

5. Now click folder, then select Scarface.exe

6. Play. Or don't. I don't care.

i thought it was meh... horribly repetitive and just lifeless it was like i was playing a mediocre version of vice city there were much better gta type games out at the time IMO. (Saints Row 1 The Godfather) i would give it 6/10 and that's being charitable.

This is by far one of the best "GTA clones" out there. I'll go and say that Scarface: The World is Yours is possibly even better than GTA VC (especially with GTA VC's horrible camera on consoles).
