Yes, but they are making a version for San andreas, and I have no clue when they are going to release the San Andreas verision

That isn't official yet.

This mod is really great!

I just have one problem.
Mod is crashing everytime I'm driving around construction site near the bridge from Starfish Island to first island (Washington Beach).
It's a problem because of early beta or it's known crash?

I love this mod. I have found it to be buggy at times, but once this is completed, I'm sure it will be awesome.

I think that you should ignore the fact that the cities are joined like they are in the other games, and instead, I think that you should move them to where they would bwe in real life. So that LA isn't right next to San Fierro. It just doesn't make any sense lol.

(sorry if this has already been said but:)
One question though, do you think you will be able to fix needing the heavy car mod to get to SA? It's pretty annoying lol.

Hey there, this looks awesome, got a couple of questions (which have probably been asked before but y'know; 32 pages. -_-)

How do you get to each island? Is there a seperate bridge to each one or a teleport or what?

Secondly, have you inputted any paths or scripts in? Like being able to swim or climb or anything?

Keep up the good work, s'brilliant how much you've done so far.

X-Seti do you need new small islands ? biggrin.gif i've seen in that old map that there are open spaces for other modders

im going to get the main islands stable and release the mod first, because the layout has been changed again, here comes map version 6.

Hmm a 6th map. Seems like I may have to test SOL along with VC MP to see if it works together for myself.

I own most gta games; GTA 1, GTA 2 . GTA 3, GTAVC, and GTASA

From all those I think VC was the best because the cars were looking much better than GTASA. GTASA hcars had too many rough edges, and little detail. Plus GTAVC graphics are pretty good and the thing that tells you which weapon you have is pretty good.

Please don't remode the cars from GTAVC they are good. Also, remove level of water because you can only use Cars with Heavy mod on....which sucks becaus the mod should function properly without trainers. Also please make a map layout because you ussually get confuse where you are located...Add gta missions because without missions game is prretty boring.

All those things take time, and I'm working more or less on my own at the moment.

I'm still fixing and replacing map areas, so we can have a stable game map.

Once I think I have found all the map bugs / glitches, I will start to address the other issues.

Edit; Remember I did release the mod so those can have a peek at whats been done so far and help point out problems that has been helpful, on the other hand I might just forget about releasing the mod until its done.

Not releasing the mod at key stages, might take longer for me to finish.

I think a Gallery page on the GTA:SOL website would be good. Everybody can send in some images and they can be placed into the gallery and people can go through them like a slideshow or something

Good idea.

I want to get things upto scratch first before we make any major moves towards a website.

We have a lot of hacks to remake and mapping issues to fix.

I could work on one as a side project along with the trailer I plan to do. With the limited time I'll have and the skills I'll have to refresh I could have both done by the end of April.

That was cool.

I counted 10 bugs, not counting the work that has to be done to Mainland liberty.

That island is going to be redone soon.

I said I had a fraps crash but I got one of them random crashes crossing that bridge to the right at end, however I went there again and I didn't crash.

The long blue bridge to LC
Other tunnel with the land missing
Road piece missing from island 2
Building not spawning
Flicking (This is due to the LOD having to be redone)

Just some i've noted.

I personally didn't notice the blue bridge but the rest I did spot. All how long have the Liberty City tunnels been bugged for?

These got fixed in the online version, but since the splitt all the hacks stayed with VC0.

We need to redo everything.

Hmmm.... that might take a while, that's also why I died in the tunnel going from Mainland Liberty to Liberty City in the tunnel.

Also what is your Skype... I found some nice skins I had on my backup GTA VC install from like 3 years ago, I'll try to find their creators if I can... One of them is the HD Tommy skin
