Progress for MOD versions;

VC version has everything mapped, just some of the buildings and objects need fixing. (textures)

GTASOL Home Straight. 28.4 (Paths are being working on)
GTASOL Doghouse Ed. 28.5 (Textures are being addressed)
GTASOL FunkyMunkey. 28.3 will be discontinued (Glitches was found that makes this version stable)

SA version is almost ready, you will be using a hacked SA exe instead (that loads VC dffs, txd and cols)

GTASOL Doghouse Ed. 29.0 (SA EXE)

CE version, The Crymaira Engine;

This is a new game engine i've been a part of for the last 6 months, secretly working on until now.

I will post more about this new engine soon in a new topic, to the modding community apon release.

In a nutshell, there will be a new engine that will cater for every modders/ game creators needs.

SA Engine is better suited for this anyways. Just include a window mode, kays XD

Not unless X-Seti were to rewrite the whole physics system. It's pretty damn impossible... So pretty much a No.

I can't wait! The name reminds me of Crytek's CryEngines. I have a question; Will the files it reads still be the same as GTA? (eg: DFF, TXD, COL, IPL, IDE, DAT etc.)

Yeah that is what I thought too and if what I thought is true then he might have used their engine as an idea and is trying to surpass that engine. Well thats just my theory anyway. Hopefully GTA will have a whole new look with this new engine and I think we are all hoping it looks better and not worse.

Also just wondering but is it really possible you all will be able to have 4 railways sytems run along with airports sytems? Hopefully you will have blocked off areas like all the other GTA games and well let's leave this to X-seti,Mckay and all them.

For now that is.

how has x-seti managed to port SOL into San Andreas? (I just caught that on this page)
Didnt he get written permission from r* themselves that he could do it to Vice City?

Paths for LC are done, but not active in the game, at the moo I'm working on the SA paths, but the exe needs to be hacked to allow for a whole new limit.

Like they always say where i come from. "It'll be done when it's done but you just have to wait for it to be done" Meaning sit down get a ticket and some other games,magazines,yada yada yaada and wait. X seti will release a new version when he thinks it is ready. No due dates or anything for anything can happen and delay this. So hold your horse. Please.


By the way who is this Mckay guy. I swear I think I met him before.

Anyway if you need help X Seti I would suggest posting in the forums you need help in or maybe even just the recruits forum.

I think this is the greatest mod i've haver seen!! At least is in the top with the other great mods out there

But i dont think there are anyother like this one!!

And about the new engine: The physics are better, and what about the graphics? More effects? It was great if you could add some bloom and/or HDR, and if that was possible, damm i think this could be greatest mod of all times, not only for GTA but in general speaking..

Any way, it is great how it is now, we can only wait for great things coming out of this...

Yes, but they are making a version for San andreas, and I have no clue when they are going to release the San Andreas verision
