You'll need more mission coding than C++ for this hook. Most of what you'll want to do with it is handled by Custom.cpp, though you should go to page 2 or 3 of this thread and find my post(s) that correct the string length (thanks CyQ!!!) and the OR statement fix shortly after (thanks me!!!).

Here's an updated list of opcodes I've added since the hook was released (found in Opcodes.h); there are obviously more missing but I add them as I need them...

CODE
// San An Studios additions, based on Spookie's hook and my own Vice Studios...

Ceedj, did you ever find the bit about having the speed and height mods turned on by default? Like I was saying before, I'm not a great programmer. I tried a bunch of different things, but no success. The farthest I've gotten is to have the mods stay on permanantly after one button push(right now I'm using 'W'). But to have them on by default would be gold. Thanks again.

OK, this sounds stupid, but could someone make a scm hook that lets you spawn the RC CAM?

If that's stupid then I must be stupid too wow.gif

I've already done that very thing. I'll see if I still have a copy on my hard drive and let you know. If not I'll knock one up and post it to my site.

Edit: Download

p.s. change the dll name to "d3d9.dll"

Could anyone (re)upload a copy of this for me please ?

If anyone checks the links and has success then please tell me what browser you used and which method of saving you used also as they aren't working for me (corrupt/blank archives).

Thank you if you can help me !

Edit...

I found this file by ceedj, I will have a play around with it and see if I can get it working but still if you guys have the original files that would be very helpfull.

Been a while since I've been here. Let me just say that this is a great file(meaning the scm hook that removes the speed and height limits). I tried doing it myself but I am no good at programming. The best I have been able to do is to change the hotkeys that activate the patches. If there is anybody that knows how who is willing, could someone please compile for me an .exe that removes the speed and height limits for aircraft by default instead of using hotkeys? As I said I have tried working with this, but it seems beyond my computer abilities. Thanks in advance for anyone who makes or attempts to make this happen.

Leonidas I.

0067F268: 7A47 jp 0067F2B1

Dunque, sostituite "7A" con "EB" (senza virgolette), avremo dunque:

0067F268: EB47 jp 0067F2B1

Ora premiamo F9 per salvare il tutto ed F10 per uscire.
Da ora in poi, quando avvierete San Andreas, non esisterà più il limite di volo per il jetpack!

Eliminate Jetpack's max height

First of all, make a backup of gta_sa.exe

1.- Get Hiew (the tutorial says Hiew Demo but that version wont let you edit), and open HIEW.EXE.

2.- Find and open gta_sa.exe (from the folder where you installed the game).

3.- After opening you will see a lot of non-sense characters, don't worry, press F4 and select Decode, after that, press F5 (for search) and write exactly ".0067F268" (without quotes) and press Enter.

It will take you to:

0067F268: 7A47 jp 0067F2B1

Now, you have to replace "7A" with "EB" (without quotes), press F3 to do it anf you'll have:

0067F268: EB47 jp 0067F2B1

4.- Press F9 to save, and F10 to exit.

Now open San Andreas and see the results

JoWie, You are simply marvelous! icon14.gif It worked like a charm. In Fact, I also found the Speed Limiter code, and here is how to implement it:

Eliminate Aircraft's top speed limiter

First of all, make a backup of gta_sa.exe

1.- Get Hiew (the tutorial says Hiew Demo but that version wont let you edit), and open HIEW.EXE.

2.- Find and open gta_sa.exe (from the folder where you installed the game).

3.- After opening you will see a lot of non-sense characters, don't worry, press F4 and select Decode, after that, press F5 (for search) and write exactly ".006DADE8" (without quotes) and press Enter.

It will take you to:

006DADE8: 7560 jne 006DAE4A

Now, you have to replace "75" with "EB" (without quotes), press F3 to do it anf you'll have:

006DADE8: EB60 jmps 006DAE4A

4.- Press F9 to save, and F10 to exit.

Now open San Andreas and see the results

Combined with your findings, that should take care of Height Limits for Aircraft and Jetpack as well as Speed Limiter for all Aircraft once and for all.

Somewhere I have the code for removing motion blur and heat haze, but I have to dig for it. Once I've integrated that, I won't need to use anymore 'hooks'.

Once I've integrated that, I won't need to use anymore 'hooks'.

now everytime i'm flying with the hydra appears a loading screen and then the screen becomes white like this

jFZken7.jpg

maybe is the exe....is there i way to hack the aircraft speed limit without modding the exe?
