Hello. in this useful guide i'll tell you all odd jobs that are reqiured for 100% completion. Odd jobs not included: tags, photo ops, horse shoes or oysters. Thats because theres already a useful map on these. Also burglary is not included, because theres already a useful guide on that. on with it then...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
BMX Unlocked:Complete the first mission, Big Smoke.
Where at:BMX park, Glen park, Los Santos
Reward:A step towards 100%
O.Gs hint: Get your bicycle skill higher before attempting mission. This mission can be a walk in the park on your first try, with high skill.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chiliad Challenge Unlocked:When you access the badlands
Where at:Top of mount chiliad. enter the bike at top between 07:00 and 18:00.
Reward:a step towards 100%.
Details: three challanges. the first two are easy with practise, the third is harder. on the third, you must go across a twisty, thin bridge. go slowly and keep on it and when you get off it, speed past the compitition down the rest of the mountain.
O.Gs hint: Theres a way to do every one easily. Before you pass the last checkpoint, if youre losing or have lost, get off youre bike and snipe the compitition down at the finish line. Normally you would get disqualified for shooting, but for some reason if you snipe them you dont. Snipe all and you will go up to 1st place.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Courier Unlocked: When you can get to the location.
Location: at Los Santos step on the BMX outside Roboi's food market. at San Fiero step on the freeway outside the Hippy Shopper. At Las Venturas step on the Faggio outside the Burger Shot.
Reward: Money gained, property generates $2000.
Details: There is four stages on each courier. Complete one stage to proceed to the next. To drop the packeges off you must press R2 or L2 and then O(like a drive by) to throw it. Make sure the package goes through the red ring. For completing one courier, $2000 will generate outside the property.
O.Gs hint: If a package does not go through the ring, pick it up again before throwing another through it. Each extra package at the end of each stage is worth an extra $100.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exports and Imports Unlocked: Complete the mission 'Customs Fast Track'
Where at: The Easter Basin Docks in San Fiero.
Details: There is three lists of cars that you need to deliver, each list with ten cars. You can do these missions in your own time. If you enter a car that is on the current list, a message in the top-left corner of the screen will inform you on this. you can get the cars onto the ship by either using the nearby crane, or by driving the vehicle up the ramp. The first choice is usually the best, as to not damage the vehicle. You can make alot of money on this, so deliver the cars in mint condition. Any cars you deliver will also be available to Import. On each list, extra vehicles are rewarded and become available for Import after delivering five vehicles on each list, and another one for completing a whole list. However, you can only Import a certain vehicle on a certain day of the week. The list of vehicles that need exporting can be found near the ship. This is also where you go to Import a vehicle. One more thing, a reward of $215,000 is given to you for completing one list.
Reward: Money
O.Gs hint Some vehicles are hard to get and require work to get them. On the first list, the patriot can be found in a Naval base in San Fiero. No problem, you say? Apart from the fact a five-star wanted level is given for entering. So drive in, turn left and head down. Get out your car and kill all the cops that run at you (there will be alot of them, make sure you've got an AK-47.) get in the patriot, drive all the way to the pay 'n' spray near the transfender, and then to the Dock. your patriot should withstand the abuse from th FBI ranchers. Another people find hard is the Euros on the third list. As soon as you get the third list, A Euros will spawn parked near The Camels Toe in Las Venturas. This is the only place I know of that you can find it, peds don't drive it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frieght Train Unlocked: Complete the mission 'Yay Ka-Boom Boom'
Where at: Steal a train when it stops at a station.
Reward: Free transportation and $50,000
Details: Press R3 while controlling a train to start the mission. There are only two stages. For completing the first stage, you get free transportation. For completing the second stage, you earn $50,000. the train has two controls; Forward and reverse. Note that it takes a long time to reach a good speed and takes a long time to brake. The reverse button is your brake, not the handbrake. I'd say the first mission isn't so bad, but the second will require you to know exactly when to press and hold brake. use the distance, time left and the speed. (displayed on the right side of the screen) Your goal is to stop in the red marker at each station. Only the front carraige can stop in the marker for it to count. If you go past it, back up a bit.
O.Gs hint: when taking sharp turns, slow down a bit so you dont go off the tracks, and NEVER go over 50.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
NRG-500 challenge Unlocked: When you can get to San Fiero.
Where at: Near the imports and Exports crane, at the dry dock, get on the NRG-500.
Reward: A step towards 100%
Details: You start off with only 10 seconds, so get the easy to reach coronas first. Each one is worth an extra 10 seconds. Once all the easy to reach coronas are got, you will just need to get the ones floating above the dock. Pick a corona you're going to go for, build up speed, and go up the side of the dry dock and you will of(hopefully) got the corona. repeat this method for the others. I believe theres a video showing how to do this, but im not sure if it was this website.
O.Gs hint A shadow of the high coronas can be seen on the walls of the dry dock. Use this, aswell as the right-anolouge stick(camera) to line up well for the jump. And remember, with practise this challenge is pretty easy, just like everything else in GTA games.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quarry Unlocked: Complete the mission 'Explosive Situation'
Where at: The quarry in the Desert, Bone county.
Reward: money for completing each stage and the quarry becomes a property. $2000 generates outside the site office.
Details: Seven missions. To start the quarry missions, step into the red marker near the site office. After completing a mission, the next mission is unlocked.
Mission1: You have a time limit of 3:30 to push 7 rocks over the edge of the quarry trail. Not too hard, and take shortcuts off edges of the quarry whenever possible. A reward of $500
Mission2: There are several explosive barrels placed around the site that need to be disarmed within the time limit. You have 1:29 to use the dozer to push the barrel into the red marker. Next, you have 2:13 to push the next one, then 2:26 for the next, and finnaly 2:49 for the last. After the last, back up a bit, you'll see why. A reward of $1000.
Mission3: some thieves have stolen equipment and are escaping in a dumper. You must use the nearby dumper to chase them and kill them. Catch up with them and start ramming into them. Perform a P.I.T. manouver, and then do a drive by on them, until their truck catches fire. Make sure you've got a uzi before you start the mission! A reward of $2000.
Mission4: The thieves bodies are loaded in a dumper, and you've got to get rid of them before the cops come snooping around. You have only got 4 minutes to do so, so be quick! Grab the sanchez and drive to the dumper. Carefully drive the dumper to the quarry and go down the trail, with extreme caution. If a body falls out, mission failed! back up to the fire, and use the right anolouge stick to dump the bodies into the fire. A reward of $3000.
Mission5: You have to drive the dumper to verdant meadows to drop off some explosives. The deadline time is 3:00. Drive swift, but cautiosally, to the airstrip, if you hit something, or lose a barrel, its mission failed. And nobody wants that. When you get there, use the right anolouge stick to dump the barrels into the red marker. A reward of $5000.
Mission6: Theres a load of barrels on the train tracks, and a train is set to arrive in 3:00 minutes. Use the dozer to push them off the tracks. When you get there, just drive all the way up, pushing barrels along with you. Soon, the barrels will push off to the left or right and go off the tracks. For barrels that dont, just push them out of the way of the tracks after youre done with the others. A reward of $7500.
Mission7: An officer has been killed, and you have 8:00 minutes to dspose of his body and bike. It involves doing a load of little jobs before you can safely dump his body. First, use the sanchez and get into the quarry, and follow the blue blip and get into the dozer. Next, push the body bag and bike into the red marker. Get out the dozer and use the sanchez to get to the red marker near the crane. Use the crane to get the body and police bike into the nearby dumper. When thats done, get into the dumper and drive it to the quarry entrance, being careful not to bump into anything. Follow the yellow blip, and back up into the red marker at the end of the cliff and use right anolouge stick to push bodies into the sea. A reward of $10,000 and a property!
O.Gs hint: When using the bulldozer on the first mission, take shortcuts by dropping off sides of the quarry. The bulldozer can never stay upside down, and will just roll back onto four wheels again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Race Tournaments Unlocked: After completing the mission 'Deconstruction', and then completing driving school. Jethro will phone and tell you about them.
Where at: Four race flags appear around San Andreas after the phone call. Two in Las Venturas, And one in San Fiero and Los Santos.
Reward: cash from winning races. And for completing every race in San Andreas, $1,000,000.
Details: Nine races in Los Santos, however three of them are already complete. Six races at San Fiero. In Las Venturas, one of the locations is for planes. The difference with the planes and other races is, you dont race against anyone else. All you have to do is reach the finish line in one piece.
O.Gs hint: some races are hard, but keep at it and soon, you will be passing that race in first place. For motorbike challenges, push up on the left anolouge stick slightly when on straights to get a little more added speed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Schools Unlocked: When you can safely reach the city they're in. In San Fiero, you'll have to do missions until Jethro calls about driving school.
Where at: Driving school in Doherty, San Fiero. Bike School in Blackfield, Las Venturas. Pilot School in the Desert, verdant meadows. Boat Shool at the marina in Tierra Robadda, the small city in the top-left corner of the map.
Reward For completing a school, you will get a skill increase in that type of vehicle. For instance, completing bike school will get your bike skill up. You do NOT have to get all golds for 100% completion of the game, however more vehicles will generate outside the school if you do so.
Details At the end of each stage, your grade is shown as a percentage. For a passing grade(bronze) you need 70%-89%, for a silver medal you need 90%-99% and for a gold medal you need the full 100%. Aim for completing each stage first, and then after go for higher medals.
O.Gs hint: Don't expect too much on your first try. It will take a while for golds on everything.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shooting range:[/ td]Unlocked: Complete the mission 'doberman' to unlock Ammu-nation
Where at: Some Ammu-nations have shooting ranges in.
Reward: More skill is rewarded for the gun you use.
Details: four weapon challenges. Each has three stages. The first stage is shooting out parts of a target. Destroy all three targets to move on. The second is the same, however this time the target advances towards you. The third has only one target on the screen at any time, and you're competing against the CPU players, First to 20 points wins. One point for each part of target shot out. Theres pistol, micro-smg, shotgun and AK-47. If you haven't unlocked a weapon for buying, like the AK-47, then you will have to wait until you can before attempting that weapon challenge.
O.Gs hint: Even though completing a challenge will get you higher skill in that weapon, if you're having difficulties with a challenge then you should attempt it again at a later level when you're weapon skill is at hitman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[td] Stadium events
Unlocked: When you can safely get to the city a stadium is in.
Where at: 8-track in Los Santos, Blood Bowl in San Fiero, And dirt track and kickstart in Las Venturas. You need to have at least 50% in driving or bike skill in order to participate.
Reward: money and cars that spawn outside the stadium.
Details:8-track remember the hot ring races in Vice City? Well they're back and alot harder this time. 12 other entrants and 12 laps make this a test of endurance. Theres no pit stop and you have got to come in first place. Its better to drive with caution instead of throttleing it around the course, hitting walls and eventually blowing up.
Blood Bowl: Your in a massive bowl with loads of other competitors. You drive while you're passanger shoots the other cars. You start off with 30 seconds on the clock and you're job is to go through the markers(each worth 15 seconds) and get this timer up to 1 minute to win. Ofcourse the timers ticking away and the other cars can also go through the markers, which will cause it to move place. This is a long and frustrating event, but eventually you'll pull through. If your car gets badly damaged, drive through one of the wrenches to fix it.
Dirt Track This is only available to do on Mondays and Wednesdays. Its six laps against other competitors and the course is quite hard to navigate. Don't fret if you're in last place, because theres plenty of time to catch up and it might be that you take the lead on the last lap.
Kickstart: Except for Mondays and Wednesdays, stepping into the red marker outside the stadium in Las Venturas will start the Kickstart challenge. In this challenge, you must get points by driving your bike through the checkpoints. The checkpointscome in three colours, Green is worth one point, amber is worth two points and red is worth three points. Red ones are the hardest to get though. You have a time-limit to gather up as much points as you can. Beat the high score to win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Valet Parking :Unlocked: Complete the mission '555 WE TIP'
Where at: The Vank Hoff Hotel in the Financial District, San Fiero.
Reward: Vank Hoff Hotel becomes a property and generates $2000 daily.
Details: Before attempting this mission, you must change into the valet suit. You can find it in your wardrobe under 'special'. Walk into the red marker to start. There's five levels and on each you start off with 2 minutes. On level one you must park three vehicles, level two four vehicles, level three five vehicles.....and so on until you complete level five. Cars pull up, the passenger gets out, and you get in and drive it down to the underground parking. Park it in the red marker( random place everytime) and sprint back up to the front of the building. Other valets are trying to do cars also, but you will hardly ever lose a car to them unless you are parking a car. For not damaging the car at all then when you park it you can recieve a full 45 seconds extra time. Also if you were to park the car sideways you will not get a parking bonus. Park it perfectly to get as much as 15 seconds extra time.
O.Gs hint: Don't waste time trying to park perfectly. Parking quickly is the key.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Firefighter Unlocked: Enter a fire truck.
Where at: Find a fire truck at a station, or start a fire and one might come soon.
Reward: You become fireproof
Details: Press R3 while in a fire truck to start the missions. To complete the mission, complete all 12 levels. Head to the car thats on fire and press O to shoot water. Use the right-anolouge stick to move the camera and the fire hose. On later levels, after putting out the fire on the vehicle people will get out and run. you must put out the fire on them also.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paramedic Unlocked: Enter a ambulance.
Where at: Find a fire truck at a hospital, or kill some people.
Reward: Boost your health up to 150.
Details: Press R3 while in an ambulance. There are 12 levels. You have got to pickup patients and drive them back to the hospital. Try not to run them over or crash, as they will die and mission failed.
O.Gs hint: Go to Angel Pine and get the ambulance at the hospital. Start the mission and all people to save will only appear in the small town of Angel Pine. This makes it a lot easier.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pimping Unlocked: enter a broadway.
Where at: enter any broadway and press R3. Theres a parked broadway near a carwash in Los Santos.
Reward: prostitutes will pay you for their services.
Details: This is like Taxi, but you drop off the same two girls through out. When you pick up the girl, you get a cut of the money from the customer. After dropping off a girl, theres no time limit to reach the next. Sometimes a customer will give your girls a hard time and you have to go over and sort them out. Complete all ten levels to complete it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taxi :Unlocked: Enter a taxi or a cabbie.
Where at: anywhere, just jack a taxi when you see one.
Reward: nitro on all taxis and cabbies. Also press L3 to jump.
Details: to complete this, you need to deliver 50 fares. However, you don't need to do all 50 fares at once. To pick up someone, stop near them. They will get in and you must take them to the place they want to go. If you get there fast and don't crash, you will get a speed bonus.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trucking Unlocked: Complete the mission 'Tanker Commander'
Where at: The RS Haul in the badlands.
Reward: Money earned from missions, RS Haul becomes a property and generates $2000 daily.
Details: Complete 8 of the trucking missions to complete this. After you can do different missions here aswell. Some of these missions are just taking goods somewhere, others are taking illegal goods somewhere and you will have to put up with the cops. If your trailer disconnects, you have 60 seconds to connect it back again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vigilante Unlocked: Enter a law enforcement vehicle
Where at: Press R3 while in a law enforcement vehicle.
Reward: Boost armour to 150.
Details: Vigilante missions are some of the best odd jobs of san andreas. Pretty much any vehicle that the law uses can be used for these. Not every one, but most can. Doing these missions in the army helicopter( called the hunter) is callled 'Brown Thunder', but they're the same. You might get some unwanted attention from the cops during this, so look at the java map for locations for police bribes. If you leave your vehicle, you have 60 seconds to enter another police vehicle. Complete all 12 levels to win.
O.Gs hint: a well known easy way, start the mission, go to an interior, enter it and wait. After about 30 seconds you will see 'threat eliminated' appear on screen. If it doesn't, then go back out, enter the cop vehicle and get out and go back in. This works on the ps2 version, and not as good on the pc version.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because guys are kind enough to actually write out a guide themselves. It says stuff which is as good if not better than the guide. If mods think its particularly good (like this one) then they usually pin it.

Good luck anyway OG, this guide looks really good smile.gif
