Yes its back, I have been slowly but surely been workin away at this with the little time I have had spare over the past few months and have finally got somewhere with it. Heres a few pics that I have took this weekend:-

There still a few more things that need to be done till it is ready for another release, more vegitation needs to be added, refelction issues need to be resolved and a few texture issues need sorting.

Space is currently working on adding paths to the new roads then hopefully he will be able to add some missions to the mod but this has yet to be really discussed or confirmed.

Hopefully I can continue to chip away at this at a resonable pace so I will try and post a couple of updates everyweek (even if it is just about whats happenin in general), so enjoy the pics and will keep you guyz posted.

looking good..you should add some dips in the track and have some water in it..not much but enough to make a splash when you hit it..Real Rally style..

Previous versions were both well worth downloading as I'm sure future versions will be too. At the moment the pictures are down though.

Anything that I can help with on the garage space ? I basically took that one straight from Vice and built the rest of the house around it using the garage as the base, but I kept the garage door a seperate object as it was originally.

MI is too sparse at the mo, and LC is just GTA3. This however, is f*cking awesome biggrin.gif

If you know how to make a functional garage door, then go for it.

I am copying some checkpoint codes from Rockstar. First is a copy of PCJ Playground. Someone give me 20 checkpoints and a new mission is done.

I played the beta a while back. I am glad you have decided to keep working on this project so keep it up!

@space - You could steal bartons MI pcj checkpoint. All it would need is some new coords

AdTec_224: yea you can host the beta on ur site if you like, whats the addy for ur site.

Dillyracer: I may convert it, dunno, depends on how well the next version of this goes, plus I gotta learn how to add things to SA.

Added a bit more vegitation to this over the weekend, also tried to sort out the reflection issues but no progress with tht yet. Think it might be something with my laptop so might go export things again on my old desktop when i get chance.

Good to see theres some interest in this again, thanks for your comments,

Well there also is a race in GTA Vice City. You can get it at Mitch Baker's place. You need to race 3 others on bikes and try to be the first. If you could convert that then that would be better then the PCJ playground because of the 3 opponents.

BTW in the GTA: La Casinina mod there is a mini ... Doing Rallys with that thing would be so cool ... biggrin.gif

Hopefully I should get to add a bit more vegitation to the mod this weekend will try and look into a few of the issues if I have the chance too.

Did you get that brief btw space, how possible is that first part of it ?

Yea I got the stuff. Everything is possible but it'll take a while. The Sunshine Autos race contains over 4000 lines of codes. It'll take a long time to strip it.

ok space thats kewl, will give me time to maybe expand on the town a little. will also allow to think of how i want the rallying to work, still got few ideas in my mind to try and merge into a complete idea.

I cracked about 30% of the racing code and was able to make a complete race. The only problems so far are the map with the race paths and the incomplete land.

Images are compressed a little too much.

good work space, whats the issue with the incomplete land, do the other cars drive off it ? I will add more land where needed if you point out the worse areas.

I got a some more vegitation added to this over the weekend, nothing much else to report really (got distracted by the England game and the F1).

The area near the light brown patch on the map. There is no border or guardrails. So in a race, I have to drive slow in that area.

One glitch: Go to the mountains in the west. Stand on the base of the mountain. Tommy will slide UP the mountain! Change the collision for that place please.

If you want me to make races that goes into the wrong way of the street, I have to redo the paths for all streets that have a median.

Nah it'll be fine space al just get some more land done round those areas, be easier plus needs to be done anywayz. How many race's you don e so far ?

Edit 1: yea al sort tht mountain issue out, its cause i used the rock collision surface again.

Edit 2: well, since my boss hasnt been at work 2day and seen as I havnt had very much to do, I have managed to spend most of the day adding vegitation to this and its now completly full of trees and bushes biggrin.gif. Will start adding more land to needed areas next that space has pointed out.

Created a bit more land the other day which has managed to fill one of the gaps, needs to be put ingame yet but will do that in like 10 mins this weekend. Will take some shots this weekend for you peeps to see for yourselves.

Space could you send me your updated paths and missions to date please so that I can try them out this weekend.

Space the racers are goin good, nice work.

Had an issue with racers 5 and 6 tho, when i entered the race the entry money was taken off me, but the blip for the start disapeared about 2 secs after I had paid the entry fee, any thoughts on that ? Also couldnt see the race board but thats probably summet i have done wrong.

Not had the chance to look into resolving the col shadow issue yet, need to go back to my parents where my old desktop is at and export using the zmod 1.07 on that. Going back there this weekend so will try sorting it then. Dunno any one who could help out with pre lighting not something I have ever really done, will try and look into it tho.


GTA-POWA dont have a release date and probably wont set one, when its near completion, you peeps will be informed and yes you can host it when is done.
