Hi there.

After a long night I've finally managed to finish adding not only the VC opcodes, but the also all the GTA III opcodes to the opcode database.


I ended up finding a way of using all the .ini files manually-published and querying what was already in the database to automatically tell which opcodes work on which games. All the previously missing opcodes from the database are now included, but use the data of the latest .ini's, which consequently means that most of the III .ini lines are pretty blank. More work will have to be done on the database to add descriptions, param info etc. to each opcode in the database.

Still a little bit more to do before I can allow users to download the vcscm.ini and gtascm.ini's from the database. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the opcodes.txt files. Still have PHP-ing to do in that area.

I'd like to thank all the people who have published .ini's or posted info on opcodes since most of what is included in the database was info originally given by them. Still trying to work out how to let others modify the database. Help with PHP may probably be needed to do this.

Please notify me of any problems you notice with the database. I'm hoping that the upcode count is about right. The uncategorized ones are the "Conditional NOT's" which only apply to SA at the moment. Some of the more recent opcode finds will have to be updated for VC and III.

Hello, I downloaded this but when I try to run it tells me another process is using the file. I checked task manager but I don't see anything using it. Did I download a virus?

Sanny Builder 3.05 released!


* added new translations for the following languages: finnish, polish, hungarian, turkish, ukrainian
* the CLEO library updated to version 4.1.1.30f (CLEO 4 by Alien)
* added possibility to install CLEO for GTA III and Vice City (made by Alien)
* the opcode files (**SCM.ini, opcodes.txt) replaced with the ones from the CLEO 4 library installation
* new command line parameter \nosplash

Basically, it just features an updated CLEO version if compared to the previous SB, but still nice job. icon14.gif

I'm planning to continue developing Sanny Builder even further. It was just a first training after five years since the last release.

Also, I'm open to suggestions and bug-reports. Feel free to mail me what you want to fix or add. Also new translations are welcome.

Wow, this was unexpected. Thanks for the update. I'm really glad that you are still developing Sanny Builder wink.gif .

I'm looking forward for new features. I would like to see SB remembering every open tab when closing. I used to work on 2-3 files and when I wanted to continue the next day, SB opens just one of them wink.gif .

Btw. who translated the installer? I found a terrible misspelling in the polish translation. Also, a few translated lines (polish) in SB could be written better like:
Szybkie ładowanie - Reklamy podczas startu zostaną usunięte.
which means "Quick loading - Advertisements when starting will be deleted." I guess it's about SA's loading screens, but it's not mentioned. Plus, it's only for SA wink.gif .

Yes it's SA no intro patch. I wouldn't call those screens as an advertisement, "intro" sounds better. Is there any word in polish for intro?

Feel free to edit the polish.ini lang file and send it to me. I will update it in the next release. install.txt contains the lines used by the installer.

There are a few words to describe "intro", but I think "intro" sounds perfectly wink.gif . From what I've read, Silent fixed the polish language in the current version, so maybe he would like to replace the few lines which may be misunderstood wink.gif ?

I think that "coords manager" and "opcode search" would be better as a sidebar than a new window.

Plus, the "coords manager" doesn't show the angle in VC somehow.

Also, when typing classes like "Actor.", a huge window appears. I think about a smaller, with a few lines instead of dozens.

And, install.txt shows the english installer. There is just one typo in polish version, no need to make a new translation, so if you can give me the polish installer translation, I change just one letter and ready wink.gif .

Returning to this request, there is an option "Load all closed files" on the Editor page (which is active when the "Load last closed file at startup" is checked). With it, Sanny opens every file from the recent files list. Does it not fit your needs?

Size of this window is changeable as of an ordinary window, using mouse. So, you can make it smaller or bigger yourself.

Ouch, that's been saved in regional ANSI (Polish chars are messed up). Any chance of making Sanny work with UTF-8 instead?

The file you've posted via pastebin was saved in ANSI, that's why Polish regional characters are replaced by Russian characters. If the file was encoded and read in UTF-8 instead, it'd be just fine and the characters displayed wouldn't rely on system regional settings.

I can see this issue in Sanny, so I assume it's present in the installer too.

Edit:
Either UTF-8 or Unicode, depends on what'd be easier to implement.

well, it seems that I should use other version of the inno setup (a tool in which the installer is made), that supports unicode. as for sanny, does it not display the polish translation correctly? I was never informed of such a bug by the users from the other countries. can you make a screenshot of where sanny displays a letter incorrecly?
if the problem is only with the files (they need to be re-saved), can you make the correct version of them and upload?

Yeah, I guess Unicode Inno Setup is a good idea.

Regarding Sanny, it's fine when you have the correct regional sets. Say, I see Polish characters properly, but Russian looks like this due to it trying to use my regional ANSI:

It's not a bug really, just a feature which would make SB more modern.

@Seeman: there is a slightly difference in loading "all closed files" (never noticed it before somehow, but okay biggrin.gif ). It loads files which I worked on, also those which I have finished. For example, I work on my 3 files and then suddenly it hits me to create a 5 lines long cleo script to make "things easier" biggrin.gif . After I restart SB, it also opens the 5 lines long script, but I'm already finished with it and don't need to edit it.

About the changing window size: it works, thanks. Another thing I didn't know about. But by default, the window should be smaller wink.gif .

Yes, I got it. I will remember a number of files being open right before closing the IDE and load them after restart.
