Actually Steve-M map cleaner that could be a problem because Map Cleaner has been crashing for me could someone possible send me the files that the map cleaner cleaned already so I can just replace fies to have the map wiped out.

this f*ckin map crashed my game, because the damn instaling readme isn't descriptive and it sucks ass. update your readme or send me some good instructions, because this is f*ckin gay

ok the read me might be a bit bare, its my first one

you use steve-m's map cleaner on a freash installation, and extract all the zips you downloaded to a folder (barring the tunnel fix which has its own read me) you should have a maps folder, a script folder, the gta dat and the lc_img

then go into your cleaned sa install to the data folder and delete the maps and script folders and the gta.dat then replace them with the ones you extracted then just put the lc_img in the models folder and it should work (start a new game).

could anybody say if they have it working yet???? I just downloaded everything other than the img and started with the steve-ms cleaner on a fresh install and did it exactly how i said and it worked, maybe the img got corrupted when i uploaded it?!?

nope i just downloaded everything and installed it as i said and it works

k, so now that's all cleaned up, back ontopic.

Are you thinking of adding missions? I know it's just started but best to plan ahead. Let Fireman do the interiors, hes real good with them.

dont know that much about the mission coding, just basic's (unless someone else wants to do it wink.gif ) but if fireman wants to do the interiors that would be good.

im new here, and i have gta san andreas. i folowed your instructions, but the game crashes in the middle of the loading, and i start a new game. please try and help, because i really want to use your map, it sounds cool. thanks.

Nice job xrk, the mod works really well. And for a WIP its awesome, Liberty was always my fave gta city tounge.gif . One thing i have noticed is that the map is really bright, too bright if u c wot i mean, apart from that gr8 job.

you'll have to download it again, it does work

@Snoopy123; the brightness, Im not sure about but I think it might be because of the col files

If anyone is get a crash/freeze around the portland harbour area re-download the maps folder, its been udated
to stop it.

Well xrk the mod works great for just Portland and Shoreside Vale and with those two Islands don't have much problems may need to add stuff and make some col files to some of the stuff in Portland and Shoreside Vale and that is it.

Also for Staunton Island the stuff you got of Staunton island is perfect all of the cols and buildings are showing up fine but when are you gonna add in some more building and road and grass areas around Staunton Island to make Staunton Island complete.

Had a quick look through the files and it would appear that the water.dat is named "water1.dat", just remove the "1" and it should work, though I have not tried, but if the readme is correct and the mod does work this is most probably the problem.

Edit: When I re-extracted that file again it appeared to be named correctly. I had a quick test of the mod and I can get it to work without a problem. The models look too bright though I feel.

The brightness might be because of the col files?!? also there are bits where if you have the visual fx up high, grass apeers on some of the models.

You do not see the bldg. quick unless you there for state.
Can you establish that you the bldg. see of a further distance?

xrk he means that the building only appears visually when getting right next to the building. could you make it to where the buildings are visually far away just like in GTA3.

What do you mean by game crashing maybe explain more about these crashes like what happens or where you were at when it crashed. I might be able to help you out.
