An interesting question is whether Tommy is still part of the Mafia or not.

Is he independent or is he passing stuff up to Sonny's bosses?

It may change things dramatically.

I don't think he would need to be apart of any other orginazation besides his "Vercetti" gang. Maybe he passed some things down to his associates to deal with mafia/forrelis.

Stupid question. You create your own scenario to what happened to him after VC's story ended. Use your imagination. I for one think he was still alive in the 90's, and continued to rule VC as the kingpin.

It surprises me how people find these threads from years ago.

What would you prefer, spamming the board with multiple threads of the same topic?

Tommy remained the king of Vice City until he died from natural causes.

Because he was just that badass.

My theory.

1984: Tommy is still in Prison.

1986: Events of GTA Vice City.

1992: Tommy is still a don. Probably has a new Lawyer & is married to Mercedes.

1998: Tommy's kid is 5 & Tommy is still a don.

2000: Tommy leaves Vice City with his Family.

2001: Tommy is no longer a don.

Her are some possibilities I think

He got arrested for money laundering

He got contracted syphilis from Mercedes

He is still going around killing people

A group of angry Haitians found out where his mansion was and took him out

Other Characters

Ken Rosenberg - Is either still the mafia's bitch or he is getting raped every night in prison

Colonel Cortez - Probably around 80 years old now, probably still living on his yacht partying it up

Kent Paul - Became a manager for bands, likely has drank and snorted so much coke by now he was forced to retire

Umberto Robina - Likely murdered from by another gang

Steve Scott - Probably around 80 as well living like Hugh Hefner

Mitch Baker - Ran his gang for probably another 5 years or so until he got killed

Phil Cassidy - Died of liver failure by now

Earnest Kelly - Died of natural causes probably sometime shortly after Vice City ended

Mercedes - Probably married to some old rich guy who gets off on her cockolding him every night

Alberto Robina - Died of old age in the 90's sometime

Cam Jones (That is if he didn't get killed in the bank job) - Did many bank jobs after as he was an expert safe cracker. Probably now living a life of leisure or is in prison.

Candy Suxxx - Sued the porn industry and is now a politician.

BJ Smith - He is a former Athlete so he likely has his own reality show centered around him and his slutty daughters.

Congressmen Alex Shrub - Became a high ranking politician and was always blackmailed by Tommy and Steve Scott to keep them out of legal trouble. He left his wife and got married to Candy Suxxx

Ice Cream Lady - Was committed to a mental hospital where she was frequently visited by children lol

Love Fist - Like most old rock bands half the members have died of drug overdoses and the other half are going on a reunion tour

Dwaine and Jethro - Own there own custom garage San Fierro.

Donald Love - Highly successful and ruthless businessman was eventually arrested when incriminating evidence came out of his necrophilia acts

Perhaps he has now got a son? Perhaps we play in his son in GTA 5.

Damn let's hope we see Tommy or his son in GTA 6 then :/

Id like to think that once the events of GTA VC finished Tommy ran the city for a few more years till around about 1999 during which time he had a couple of kids. Then he took a back seat and let his guys do most of the running of his business and died a happy relaxed man.

Why would we get answers even if GTA VI is set in Vice City again?

Firstly they are seperate universes. Secondly it isnt like R* answered any unaswered questions from GTA III in GTA IV or GTA SA's unaswered questions in GTA V so I doubt they would do it if the next game was in Vice City.

As much as I love Tommy and Vice City (still think it's the best GTA game even with the now dated graphics), I've always thought that he met a fate similar to the one Pablo Escobar met.

I read an interesting article recently regarding the Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman that was just captured. It was mentioned how stunning it was that he had remained at the top of the heap for so long. The article said something like "Guzman is 56. When Pablo Escobar was 56, he had been dead for 13 years." In other words, the life of a drug baron is violent and short, and usually ends with the guy either in prison for the rest of his life or dead.

Would We? Do we know what happened with Claude, CJ or Toni after their games? I don't think that 'quarrel' had anything to do with it - Unless Tommy was going to appear in the San Andreas Special 20 Minute Introduction Film.

I have to agree with GTAKid on this one as he pointed out that other people who have provided voices for the protags haven't had their character's story (beyond the events of their games) expanded on. I just think that once R* decided to move on from GTA VC that they didn't really have any plans for Tommy, plus you have to think where would he fit into GTA SA or GTA LCS or GTA VCS. I think the answer is, he doesn't.

I think he was head of the mafia for about 10+ years. He got married and had kids somewhere in between, and ended up letting someone else be in charge of his empire (like maybe a son or something). Now he just relaxes (he would be about 80+ I think by now) but is still informed on what is going on in the streets

Died of a heart attack while partying in Las Venturas on his 69th birthday. Just croaked over face first into the prostitute's ass crack and a mountain of coke resting on said ass. Funeral was held at the Vercetti estate a week later and Tommy V was laid to rest in his native Portland, LC.

He can't die, he will always respawn at the closest hospital :/.

I hope Rockstar will at least mention him in one of their further GTA games.

I'd like to think of Tommy post-VC like this I guess..

Post-VC events, he more or less had everything that he wanted or needed.

Estate: He renovated and restored the Vercetti Estate after the familes had fought and destroyed the interior/exterior of it. He probably held it for a few years, until he grew older or had a family. He used the profits from the Estate and went out and bought either a Regina, or a Rancher and settled down in time for his Mid Life Crisis, in which he probably either took Lance's Infernus or bought a Banshee. He bought a nice place still on Starfish Island, and just cooled out for a little bit until his kids grew into their own.

Print Works: He probably organized it so it could print whatever it was that he needed to be printed, and either sold the business as a package deal with the Porn Studio. If not that, it became abandoned for a little bit until the States Government cleaned up Little Haiti and either tore it down, or a newspaper company purchased it.

Boat Yard: Either kept it to store his Cocaine Runners for a few years until the Government put their foot down and cleaned up the beaches and sold it off to support his other businesses, OR had Dwayne and Jethro work on renovating it to look nice, and when the Feds cracked down in the late 80's-early 90's, they assessed that Coke had been in and out of the Yard so they had condemned the place and destroyed it. Dwayne and Jethro bailed before they could come back with a warrent, and hitched a plane for somewhere in San Andreas. I've heard they build Maibatsu's around that area now :/

Cherry Poppers: Feds grew smart after seeing the trucks out in the street and seeing such long lines in such sketchy areas. Although they did create Ice Cream, there just wasn't enough of a cover-up to convince Vice's finest. Company got shut down, and the older lady bailed. Some say she went to Los Santos, and some say she went to the loonie bin.

Pole Position: Tommy probably kept this business, seeings as a few of his favorite women work there. He could've contracted a disease, considering he no doubt had to take his fair share of girls on test laps. He watched Mercedes grow up in the club, taught her everything she knew, and ruled the club with An Iron Fist. He was firm, but awfully fair on every girl. He was that guy you saw in movies; leisure suit, aviators, cigar, chewing gum, greasy slick hair, and a Red Comet sitting out back. The business is still ran today, and it's still one of the most popular clubs in the Vice nightlife these days. Old Man T may not be piloting it, but his fingerprints are still in the DNA today.

Kaufman Cabs: After gaining control of the streets and managing a strong Cab business, T realized that although he can drive a Cab, he can't really run a Cab stand. He sold off the company to another owner a few years after Vice City, which kept everything just how it was when he got it.

Porn Studio: Well after being in a few videos and doing some production work, Tommy decided it was time to part ways. He introduced some of the best models that have been shown yet to date, and introduced some ideas that are used now a days in films. Such ideas as the POV-view, and the Motorboat. There may, or may NOT be footage of Tommy and Steve Scott few years after VC that show him and the staff at a release party, and Tommy may or may not being doing cocaine in a pool full of blow-up Candy Suxxx and Mercedes dolls. The best film they released featured Mercedes and a few girls from the Pole Position Club that Tommy had a joint venture with, and it was named "The B-Team", which prompted touted "The Best Butts in the Business!". It's seen as a cult classic to pron addicts and teenage boys alike!

Sunshine Automobiles: Tommy built off this business as well. After a various contact in Liberty City contracted Tommy for vehicles, Tommy had supplied him with whatever it was that he wished. He was given an extremely rare 1970 Declasse Sabre Turbo (Car #2 of #10 built), at that time a brand new 1986 Maibatsu Deluxo, a Vapid Hotring Racer stock car, and a Declasse Sandking Trophy Truck. After he sold them off at a healthy profit, he started branching out (using a 1985 Maibatsu Sentinel as a company car), and fitting various dealerships all over Vice City, Liberty City, and San Fierro. Tommy then started to handle the import/export situation for the vehicles in the dealerships. He built relationships with various importers and knew how to please his contacts oversees with Sentinel XS's and Infernus's packed to the brim with Coke. Eventually Tommy got out of the business in 1991, where it became shared with a new owner who changed the name to "Wang Cars".

The Malibu Club: In 1986 with the purchase of The Malibu Club made by a one Tommy Vercetti and a one Ken Rosenburg, came the renovation and foundation of The Vercetti Crime Family. Every plan, every action, and every divergence was planned in the bar upstairs of this famous club. Known for the strong drinks, expensive arm candy, severe exclusivity, devout drug usage and loud colors came the Decade of Decadence for Vercetti. Planning to keep this only company, Tommy more than likely put all of his eggs in one basket and put it all out on the club. Tommy would continue to build; Meeting his future wife, his future replacement lawyer, how to keep the Club fit, hip, and in tune with what's cool out on the streets. He would spend almost his entire fortune on creating the most busy Club on the South coast. Don't even think of pulling up to it if your car isn't worth $150,000+, or your shoes have laces. Tommy still runs the Club, although it may not be from behind the desk. Sopping up the dry Florida sun is his wife of 33, and his garage which consists of an older Pheonix, and an PMP 600.

Before you guys start bitching at me for something in this, I don't even care what you say. Tommy V is my favorite GTA character, so I felt this was fitting for him.

He got rid of Rosenberg and he's probably still running things down in VC. That's what I would imagine.
