I guess that Rockstar is trying to be nice lately. I am unsure whether or not this has been posted here before but I figured I would let you guys know about this.

Rockstar is allowing people to legally download a version of gta 2 that is coded to work properly on todays computers. Its not guarranteed that it will work for all computers but I sure am downloading to try.

Just a word of warning. It is 351MB and the average download speed for me is 64 KB/s

To get this file, I hope I didnt break any rules by not including my real addy and such. oops rolleyes.gif

edit: i guess you can also get the original gta and also Wild Metal

Heh, hate to tell you it's nothing of late. Been posted before, that's how I found out about it and got it, but letting more people can't hurt hey? I've not tried this Wild Metal though. Never heard of it before R* released it there, and it doesn't look much to be honest. Anyone played?

It was really fun on the Dreamcast, but the port to PC was kind of sh*tty.
It's still playable, but is hard to get running on some modern hardware.

Dreamcast version was a port from the PC version, not the other way around, kthx. GTA was mainly a PC game till GTA3 came along and brought all the casual mainstreamers.
