He plays on the PS2 and it said Complete Game, which implies 100%.
If you are on the PC it is much easier.

I thought I'd try to beat San Andreas 100% without and cheats/cheat device.

I got from the beginning of Los Santos missions to end of Los Santos missions in 10 hours.

Then I did every vehicle & asset & side mission (pimping, firefighter, paramedic, taxi, zero's missions, oysters, horseshoes, tags, snapshots, I&E, USJs, etc...) all within another 3 hours.

Then for the next 3 hours I did Vigilante and got up to level 555 and by that level, I had $999,999,999.

Finally, for the next hour I conquered the last territory of the Los Santos Vagos.

All in all, I beat the game 100% in 17 hours.

Like my signature says, I'm the BEST IN THE WORLD!

and that record, it doesn't even say if he beat the game 100% in that time or just the storyline missions.

funny.....how you say your signature said it was 100%, but maybe you could be lieing or you could not be telling the truth........

That's far from impossible. Current world record is 6 hours and 9 minutes:

One question ; 100% or just the Storyline?

OT : It took me Extra time because my first 100% round was done by my own Ultimate Starter, 47 Hours.

I wouldn't put too much into speed times. The only ones that would count would be 100%.
And, you have Five Classes:
• PS2,
• PC k&m,
• PC Gamepad,
• XBox,
• Mac,
each having an advantage of its own.

Before completing the final story mission, I had collected all oysters, sprayed all rival tags, horseshoes and snapshots, all side missions, asset missions, safehouses, taxi missions, races and gym techniques.

After that I finished "End of the Line" shooting guns and realising ammo was limitless, I checked the percentage score and spotted 100.00%.

Story missions took 7 days, other stuff lasted 9 days, in total 16 days for the whole game.

When I first played (using cheats), it took me about 2 years (I was stuck in LS for the longest time).

Second time I played with cheats, about 3 days.

In my recent playthrough (Without cheats), it took about a week to complete the storyline.
I'm still working on the side missions and stuff, so overall, it's taken about 9 months. lol.gif

If you mean 100%, Haven't got there yet. (83.47%)
In the game storyline, it took me about 60 hours.

The story itself only took me about a week. Getting the completion up to about 90 something percent took about Four months. I never to this day beat the Quarry missions nor the some of the BMX/bike challenges.

Started a new game, after 6 days im up to the San Fierro missions and i usually play for about 5 hrs at night so yeah 30 hrs of playing time so far.
Completed 100 tags
Roboi Mart Asset
22/50 oysters
Bought all properties in Los Santos
Completed pimp missions
Completed taxi missions
Level 4 of Trucking complete
1.2 million cash (horse betting)
so you can see its taken me a bit longer getting thru the main storyline but i have been doing the other things too

I'm going to get flammed for this but w/e i'm 130 hours in and i've completed the game 87 % i still got ventures missions to do aswell. I havent done the heist yet either. I've been playing it roughly 2 months now. I'm just taking my time and doing EVERYTHING that's avalible. The only non storyline things i've got to do are the horseshoe's and tags. I've done everything else. Keep in mind i refused to leave los santos without doing the ambulence and cop missions and that was a bitch and a half. espically the cop with little health/armor

@Cole Phelps I find it next to impossible to do the ambulance mission in LS. I just wait till Angel Pine cause it is easy. I don't want to add anything further in case i spoil it

The first time I did the ambulance missions was in LS at the first hospital, you just have to drive VERY carefully but not slow, I guess skillfully. But the easist place for me that I have found is Fort Carson. Or was in El Quebrados... It's one of those.

I also found the Medical Centre in El Quebrados to be the easiest when I first did it. But, with a little practice the Hospital next to Pershing Square is much better and earlier.
However, I also get the feeling that in some way the Foe's are fighting back harder. (Unproven, yet.)

Foe's fighting back harder? As in the the enemys give more damage per hit?

Seems, to me, in some missions it takes more hits to down them, and maybe more in a 'wave'. Yet to be proved.

I'm curious, is there ever actually a mission where you rob Caligula's casino?

I mean, there were quite a few missions leading up to such an event, and then next thing I know I'm back in Los Santos with Sweet fighting gang wars before the final curtains are drawn. My memory isn't the best, but I think it's safe to assume I never actually completed such a mission because that would imply the acquisition of a good sum of cash, yet I'm still just getting by with $40k.

The last I remember of such missions were Milliea, and I banged her successfully. If I continue to take her out and get her affection can I expect Woozie to call me up and get the plan back on track? I hope so because I need more money.

Yes. It's called Breaking the Bank at Caligula's
It's hard to miss what with CJ jumping off the roof of the casino, and then making his way to the Verdant Meadows airdrome.

Nice. Cause I need more cash to gamble away.

Only $100k?! Can't say I'm not disappointed.

I finish the game regularly, and have gotten down to 6 and a half hours before (not stop missions, not straight obviously). I've pretty much memorised every mission and can do them all (maybe not End of the Line, Breaking The Bank at Caligula's etc.) without getting wasted. Sometimes I finish the game 3 or 4 times a month, but I only have one save file with 100%, and I'm not really into the whole 100%'ing every game.
