I finished the game. Not 100% but the storyline and a lot of sub-missions.

It took me about 20+ days. And since I mostly play in the eve, that sounds fair to me, doesn't it?

i've finished the storyline in about 1.5 day. i know it's slow, but i never like rushing through the storyline at first. smile.gif i still didn't get 100% because i usually just stunt and stuff, sometime i'll make some progress towards 100%.

It took me about a month (June 20th-July 19th) to reach 100%. My game time was about 110 hours (450 days), but I left it running all night a few times, trying to get a really long stoppie time. All I really got was no fat or muscle left in the morning smile.gif .

How did you do that stoppie? Is there a glitch where a stoppie just keeps going on forever until you stop it?

for long stoppies, just do a small bunny-hop on a BMX, and lean forward in the air so that you land on the front wheel. After some practice, you'll land so that he stays balanced on the front wheel.
Go somewhere with no hills, where you won't be hit by traffic.

<<< MERGED: 'new' topic on same subject. >>>

I just completed GTA IV and TLAD and got 100% completion for both

When I was downloading TBOGT, which I am about to start playing, I noticed they had San Andreas available to download, so I did

I was thinking of playing through it once finished TBOGT

How long will it take to complete and get 100% do you think?

I started GTA IV a couple days before christmas and completed on 16th Jan, TLAD I started straight after and finished a few hours ago

Years ago I remember completing GTA III and Vice City and got 100% for both of them, but I never finished San Andreas

I wish to put that right biggrin.gif

How long roughly will it take?

similar time it took to do GTA IV or much longer?

Similar to GTA4, however it's a much more enjoyable game in my opinion, and there is much more stuff to do besides the story missions.

When I first played the game it took me a good 2-3 weeks to beat it cause of (Supply Lines/N-O-E/Learning To Fly/Robbing Uncle Sam/Just Business) those mission were a FEMALE DOG! to beat but as I kept playing it over & over again & eventualy passing the mission & beating the games now it only takes me 2-3 days to beat SA now.

That's far from impossible. Current world record is 6 hours and 9 minutes:

For stoyline completion: the first time was about 30 hours, now it's about 20. I've never done a speed run, I like to enjoy the game. Plus, I don't reload if I fail a mission.

I thought I'd try to beat San Andreas 100% without and cheats/cheat device.

I got from the beginning of Los Santos missions to end of Los Santos missions in 10 hours.

Then I did every vehicle & asset & side mission (pimping, firefighter, paramedic, taxi, zero's missions, oysters, horseshoes, tags, snapshots, I&E, USJs, etc...) all within another 3 hours.

Then for the next 3 hours I did Vigilante and got up to level 555 and by that level, I had $999,999,999.

Finally, for the next hour I conquered the last territory of the Los Santos Vagos.

All in all, I beat the game 100% in 17 hours.

Like my signature says, I'm the BEST IN THE WORLD!

and that record, it doesn't even say if he beat the game 100% in that time or just the storyline missions.
