I did this 8-1/2" X 11" painting for my art class, what do you think? How much would you pay for it if I sold it?

It took me about 7-9 hours to do. It's 8-1/2" X 11" so that zoomed in photo is actually larger than it is in real life. For you painters out there, this means that it's very well done, I made no mistakes and have a very steady hand. Most people's paintings of this size don't have as straight of lines as I do. Sorry to boast, but it's really difficult to paint small like that.

Thanks for the compliment. I have lots more artwork where that came from.

I actually like it. I like the lack of color on it, makes it look damn good. Nice going smile.gif

Yeah i think your style there could be really well applied to some surfing images. I've been looking for a way to draw some surfing stuff ad that looks mint. Not that my work would live up to your shiz' niz'!

To recreate the effect for an advert use the cutout filter. with some texture work you can achieve the same effect.

Its monochromatic...not achromatic...well at least the first picture is on my computer. Tints tones and shades of blue.
