Vector whoring time...
Well I've just been working on this randomly so its kind of weird because it doesn't seem to be going anywhere at all, but hey it looks kind of nice. Image one was the basic starting, for the lack of a better word, thing. In image two, I guess, I was trying to make a background tile that didn't burn my eyes, thus the dull colors. And finally, image three I just completed around a day ago and for it I have no explanation on where it went from the first one...just custom shape tooled it to hell and back.
(note: the white is usually supposed to be transparent...i.e. not finished...so yeah imagine that the white is a nice gray and white checkerboard)

And I decided to hijack my own topic with a stencil. It is basically as finished as I think its going to come because I have spent way to much time doing it with to much detail so my fingers will be come shreds by the time I manage to cut it out with an Exacto. C&C are always welcome. Ugh i have nightmares about doing those letters freehand because the type tool pixilated it to hell.

I kind of like the top one with the sun, but I think you've kind of over-whored the black background.
The guns' lines look like they disappeared after resizing, or maybe it was your intention to do it like this. I think it would look better if you completed all of the lines.

What lines are you laking about on the .50? I guess if i get around to spraying it then it will look better because it will look more organic and smooth.

Let us know when you've got it finished.
Are you planning on closing those lines, because now it looks as if the gun exists out of loose parts.

O i see what you mean, the black lines. With stencils all the white has to be connected so in turn the black cant be connected in some parts. If the white doesn't connect then you just have parts of the stencil coming off.
