Ok, I recently found a way to simply and easily put replace cars into vice city, i load in the comanche replacing the oceanic ( ihate that car) and it works fine, but when i install any other vehicle, it`ll start loading the game, and i`ll hear that windows error beep, and it close out saying that it came into error. to send.. bla bla bla..

Any ideas?

heres 2 little tips.
1)you did not need to double post to bump a day old topic.
2)installers suck, install the cars manualy(sp?)

4thgencelica is right...installers can be great unless one files is misappropriated, and then your screwed.

Here are the steps you should take if you don't know how to manually install the cars

1) Open up gta3.img with an img editor

2) Press F2 to open the search dialogue box and search for the dff file that you want to replace

3) Right click the dff file and select delete

4) Click the "commands" drop-down menu and select the "add" button

5) Browse for the new dff file that you want to add (to replace the one that you just deleted)

6) Repeat steps 2-5 in order to replace the txd file that you want to replace

7) After adding the dff and txd files, select the "commands" drop down menu again and select "rebuild archive"

You're done!

Here you go man - just install it, open gta3.img with this tool, and you're ready to go.
