Ok I have many questions to ask about this mod...
I'd like to apologize if these were already asked...

1:Will interiors be disabled?
2:Will others be able to ride with you?
3:Can you just play as peds or can you use Characters?
4:Where are the respawn points?(Hospitals?)
5:When is the SA-MP expected to be released?
6:When are the VC-MP expected to be released?
7:Will mini-games be disabled?(Arcades?)
8:How many players can be in a Server?
9:Can 56k Modems be used to play?
10:Are Peds/Cars enabled?
11:What features will be disabled?
12:Is game-play edited much?(Air-Height,Weapons,ect...)

Plz answer soon...

I dont think the team know as yet as i'm, uncertain as to have they got their copy of GAT SA yet.. . Give them time to investigate the game dude wink.gif

As someone who has been in the sa-mp community from the start, i'll answer a few questions out of common sense and what I know.

Probably not decided yet, but many of us hope for customizable CJs.

Probably you just pick a spawn.

The FAQ says about 2-3 months, but its not an exact date.

I think Mike and XcR will do that, and they did say they will try syncing mini games

They are planning a 100 man MMO if its possible. We don't know the actor count as of yet, but kyeman will find out.

Of course!....but expect lag since its a slow connection

I don't think so. I know for sure it won't be on the first release. Putting peds are one of the next steps of the best GTA online.

The better question is, what will be enabled? They will try to sync everything. Its too early to see what can't be enabled yet.

Good question. Probably not. I think SA is stable as it is. Its balanced IMO. Air/Height doesn't need to be changed, its fine. Weapons, are an important part of balance. I hope the SA-MP team doesn't believe in editing the weapon.dat files lol. They should believe in editing weapons ammo wise. Lets say the heat seeking rocket launcher kills in one hit. All you do is just give it a lot less ammo. Ex: Giving it 20 rockets is too much, so give it 5. Easy, balanced, fair, and fun as I say.

I just wanted to know some information 'bout the Mod I would be
downloading and when I would be downloading it...

well if you are disabling peds
do you think you could put cops, swat, army?
cuz then you could have a team securing an entire area fighting off cops biggrin.gif

but then they'd have to be sync'ing things that aren't real players. that'd be like trying to sync the sway of trees or the birds

true, either the server would need to know (and emulate) every aspect of the entire GTASA world, OR....

have one players machine do the work and send to server then to all players.

both methods are stupid and usless.

We will most likely have most interiors enabled.

Yes, passenger will be enabled.

If you mean skins then this will be specifiable by a server-side INI file that contains gameplay options and server configuration.

The spawn points are specifiable through the server INI.

The projected release date for the mod is roughly 2-3 months from now.

VC-MP will only be considered for release when SA-MP is perfected (as that is our main goal.)

Well, if mini-games were enabled and you triggered the mini-game event, your player would most likely be teleported to another location.

Well, we are working towards a MMO but we are not sure just how feasible this idea is.

Dialup users will be able to play, but as with other online games, they will experience lag.

This is definatly not going to be in the first release. There are complications with adding these features, so we'll see how it goes.

If you are talking about the syncing side of things, we have synced all the on-foot movements.

We haven't really tweaked with weapon damage but things like a certain character's spawn weapons/ammo can be specified in the server config file.

I got one question: will there be voice chatting in SA-MP or do we have to fly and type at the same time?

EDIT:Eh I guess your right... well gota dl skype or just try to fly and type at the sape time blink.gif

chances are there wont be but we can all download skype and have a conference on the talking part and all be able to talk. smile.gif
