Tycek, that made me LOL at how appropriate that was. lol.gif

@stueycow: I have no problem with you posting your parents cars as several members have done that in the past, but maybe you could provide pictures? Just a friendly suggestion

I will provide pictures when I'm on my pc not my phone

Take a look at dat . Any color or rim suggestions anyone? The steelies have to go.
Not going to even consider bigger rims than 16s or black as color, so yeah.

Also, does anyone even recognize it from this? lol

On the contrary, the steelies suit it perfectly.

^ Yeah I like those wheels! I would probably paint them silver though.

Nice wheels, especially these rear deep dishes. I would refresh them and leave them.

Sure, they look great on it. Or at least would after a respray but I was thinking of something like real Retro JDM rims. Like SSR mk 2 or 3. Work Equips. Watanabes etc. Something like that.
Or even some cheap Rota copies of such rims. Dont know yet. Even TE37v's have crossed my mind. Wide and small old school friendly rims anyways.

The steelies are O.K. but they're kinda thrashy don't you think? lol.

But no one guessed the car yet, eh? Or did anyone even try.

1979-1982 Nissan Bluebird 910. I also really like the steel wheels that are on it now. Just refurbish them, and they will look awesome.

I don't think I'd put Volks, Works, SSR's, Watanabes, etc on such a car like that. At least until way off in the future when that thing is looking a bit more complete. I think a set of any would cost way more than the car's worth at this point.

Then, later down the road when it's a bit more complete, Hoshino Impul g5's.

I have all the trim, bumpers, door handles etc missing parts to it. It looks very thrashy laying on the grass with no paint and lacking things. But its pretty cool condition actually. Full original interior and all, not a spot of rust on the bottom.
If I got it painted properly and gave it some actually nice rims it could look pretty classy.

user posted image

That is probably the best looking I've seen. And something like that is what I'm thinking of.

Hoshinos would, tbh be pretty rad but then again any old school JDM wheels would be awesome. Had SSR star sharks on a Corolla earlier.
user posted image
I wanted wider but happened to find these near, in Finland so bought em. Not too bad looking IMO. I wanted it lower, cleaner and faster but didn't bother to start painting(the brown was hideous) it so sold it away with the rims. biggrin.gif
Anyway back to the Datto also been thinking of fender mirrors and a front lip of some sort but don't know.

Oh, and by the way. Tried to buy one of these from one guy that had his 910 for sale, but he wouldn't "depart" his car. Jeez.

user posted image

How rad would that be? haha. I'm a louvre nut. I have a folder on my PC where I collect cars with 'em from the web. that I happen to see And when I see one with them IRL I must take a pic of it lol. They're my obsession when it comes to car parts/accessories. Have had a louvre on another Rolla too. It was in all ways better than the one i showed earlier, except it was a rusty damn thing and lacked bumpers, but hey that's old school. wink.gif

The louvres don't really go with the car very well, in my opinion. Looks much cleaner and nicer without.

It's not the best example. The louvre I was trying to buy was slightly different from the one shown. This one looks way more curvy.

But even if it wasn't the best looking for the car it's cool to have and bolt off and one every now and then. And I just happened to find it so I gave it a try. Its not all that common you know, I never even see the cars anymore, not to mention with the louvre so it was sort of a "once in a lifetime" chance wink.gif

Wish I had got a pic of the rear of this thing.

Looks like it would have been your kind of thing (if 86's aren't too new for you)

Sure not. 86s are the last Toyota besides Supra and some newer X chassis RWD sedans/wagons that I really like. icon14.gif
And yeah it looks rather interesting. Cant really tell what kind of a louvre that is though. Doesnt look like a typical one.

When i first saw the picture of the car when scrolling i knew he was lying, because he said he had a 722 edition. Thats the basic one.

Without knowing you would link to autogespot, the pics looked soo autogespottish I knew it was taken from there after scrolling one and a half pictures. And I am not an AG regular, I do check out specific links of spotted cars I see on different forums, perhaps once or twice a week

yes they do wake it up. the exhaust made it sound so much better. bought all the parts off american muscle. they had sound clips for the exhaust so i could listen to them before i made a purchase. the cold air seemed to have made a big difference as well. i bought the strutt tower brace just for looks but i have to admit it makes taking turns at a high rate od speed a breeze.

@outcast, i havent taken any yet but i will gladly take some tomorrow and post them here. its nothing special. i got cloth interior. leather (if i remember correctly) was somewhere between 3 to 5k more than the cloth. the leather had ambient lighting as well which would have been cool but it wasnt worth that much money in my opinion. any other pics of the car you would like?

He acts like an asshole in the V forums. At least that is what he seemed like. I doubted him that he owned the Mustang, cause well, it's the f*cking internet. Some f*cker can so easily lie. Case in point, the guy who claimed he owned a SLR at the top of this page.
