Pavlov, damn...nice detective work there. tounge.gif

Anyway, Chris, im not gonna say anything bad, because literally everybody has said everything possible already. Look, only chance of proving something here is to make a solid video with all the proof that you actually own those cars. Pink slips and everything... I already wrote this before, its the simplest way...now please, stop this BS here. The spam here in this topic is as long as Ron Jeremys shlong.

The fact that you seem to have no control whatsoever over when you actually go to the garage that you claim to own, combined with the fact that we've never seen a picture of a car that was in the garage and one of the cars you commonly take pictures of together, it's leading all of us to believe you don't actually own the garage, or any of the cars in it.

You buy a rare car with no mention here while you bring up your sh*tbox cars all the time, and don't know the story behind it. It's modified, but you claim to know that it's not a lookalike even though you admitted that you haven't looked into it at all. You, someone who takes THOUSANDS of pictures of cars, haven't taken but a single picture of your own Mercedes and don't have the slightest f*cking clue as to when you actually bought it.

Everyone is getting sick of you because we know you're bullsh*tting. Now you've pushed past just annoying members and have started to annoy the forum leader, and then you go off and bring yourself to the attention of either a global moderator or administrator. Your future here is looking quite dim at this point. I highly suggest you do one of the following three things before posting anything else about your own cars:
Admit you were lying (It's been done here before.)
PROVE us wrong. (Pink slips, ALL of your cars parked next to each other in a parking lot with a piece of paper with GTAF written on it, or something along those lines. This also been done here before.)
Or leave to avoid any further humiliation. (Can't think of any specific example but I'm sure this has happened in the past too.)

Edit: Sorry for further derailing this topic guys, I just felt these are things that need to be out in the open about this member.

Number of cars in the shop= billions
Number of car I own= 0
Don't need yet, since it's difficult to find parking and I mostly used mass transit.
Maybe one day, I will have to get one?

Sorry Pav, will try to keep a lid on it. Just absolutely frustrating when nothing gets through to the guy.

Ok, I'm just going to clear this up once and for all. We don't eat dogs or cats. We eat rats..and maybe bats...in a hat. ph34r.gif

It's actually really quite fun to drive. The gearbox is very smooth and the engine is quite powerful. It's nice having air conditioning in the weather we've had lately too.

S'alright for some. One of the known issues with my Leon was the climate control being a bit dicky. I hoped it was either just a re-gas or the recirculation valve but turns out the compressor is borked so that's 500 to sort inc. fitting, or 200 plus whatever I can get another one for.

In other news, now the diverter valve has been sorted it's a whole new car. Even with old DV leaking boost it felt just as fast as my old Audi; now with the newer Rev. D valve fitted it's properly, kick-in-the-guts fast. I struggle to believe it's only putting down the quoted 185hp, not least because 30-70 it pretty convincingly crushed a colleague's 330Ci despite that putting out about 50hp more and having book speeds about the same. Looking forward to getting it on a dyno as the TFSI engines are known to be very conservative with claimed power outputs.

I've had the filler set overnight, I'll sand it down today and apply primer Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif
Can't wait to find out if I did a sufficient job turn.gif

Next on the agenda: find a paint shop that can give me a can of the car's colour, Edoardo grey (US: Edwardian Grey)

E: There's so much rust because it's been in Bergen since 1989; A city where it rains 242 days a year

Genuine Sport Classic one or one of the copies like MA Shaw? I think RuF do one too but I can imagine that's probably very, very expensive.

-EDIT

RPM Technik seems to do the best one

Nice picture, I know where that is. Literally not more than 2 minutes walk from my place.

To be honest, I'm not sure. I'm still looking at whether I should buy in the UK or US, and if I do then I have to also think about the cost of shipping it back.

I agree, Getty looks just a piece of two by four glued there. Also the angle looks too high. Misha has a nice design, round from the edges and not too conspicuous.

The Getty one is closer to the Sports Classic though
