If it's going to look like this then all I can say is wow. Good luck. Enjoy her!

What parts do I have to get to make it look like that? It's going to be my first time changing anything on a car as I usually keep them all stock. I definitely want to make it look more aggressive though.

This is the regular GT3 pack from the catalogue. I suggest getting it from a Porsche dealer. Also, the one fitted with it on your pic is a 997.1 before the facelift (they fitted it with the facelift kit though), and you have a facelifted 997.2
Also China but US model? Wth?

Taiwan actually, not China. Most cars in Taiwan are US spec.

Edit: How do you tell if its a Euro or US model?

Orange reflectors in the front and the different rear bumper:

Well if I get the GT3 pack that Pav said, I suppose the bumper doesn't make a difference as I'm going to be changing it anyway.

Took the Bentley out for a quick drive in the rain, matched my watch to the clock.

Outcast how do you like your Superocean? I've been considering picking up an Abyss soon. I like the more sporty look, as compared to some of their other models.

I like it a lot, it's my daily watch. Not too flashy but good enough for most social events.

I want to get the transocean as well

You make me and my 5-year-old, second-hand Colt feel positively pauper-ish.

My watch is a 40 euro Casio...not that im complaining. Anyway, Outcast, if you have a chance, maybe you could make a video of a tour of the car too and maybe some drive by clips. Maybe even show your other cars more closely, you do have quite a large and expensive car collection.

I have an Omega Speedmaster now as my everyday watch, would like to pick up a Breitling soon though. Sort of miss not having a date function.

I love my £30 Casio, I use all its features so I actually prefer it to much more expensive watches.

Gonna go ahead and derail this from the watch talk. Garfield recorded a video of his car, so I thought I might as well record one for mine as well.

Edit: Forgot to show it but it has the full tool set in the trunk, and has had it ever since I bought it, which is a one in a million chance with older bimmers. I'm thinking about washing it and cleaning it out and doing a follow-up video, if I do I'll try to remember to include that.

@Chris: sorry i don't believe you, real pics of your watches if you please.

I just made a quick video, uploading now. we should create a topic with an entire compilation of GTAf car reviews

EDIT:

I apologize in advance for my awkwardness, it is literally the first time I have ever made a video. I usually have people do it for me.

Just to get back to watches (I can't help but think that watches and cars are the two things a man should spend his money on) heres my Corum Tourbillon.

user posted image

If I had gotten it with the diamonds and everything, it would be just above $1 mil. Tourbillons are ridiculously expensive, sort of like wearing a Ferrari on your wrist.

EDIT: I've been going around to garages (not sure if thats what you call them) where they customise and tune cars to ask about the GT3 bodykit for the 997. I found one very close and it's pretty nice.

I'd make a video but the Mini is half disassembled in preparation for the restoration and nobody wants to see a boring Citroen.

Can I just vocalise quite how f*cking ugly those Ferrari watches are? Utterly vile things.

I've posted my Colt before and am happy to stick my everyday Tag up as well. I've got a few cheaper watches (CWC, Citizen) plus an Omega Seamaster but I bought that broken and it's spent the last month at a specialist being evaluated. Will probably have to go back to Switzerland for rebuilding.

Edited as my phone developed a slur.

I don't think the Ferrari watches are ugly per se, I just think watches lose a lot of their appeal when they're branded with the name of a company which don't specialise in timepieces. It isn't a real watch is what I mean.

If it's ok with Pav, I think it'd be nice to have a topic about watches here (as opposed to Gen Chat where its full of 12 year olds and idiots).

EDIT: I like the Omega Speedmaster a lot. For my next watch it's a toss up between the Speedmaster and the Transocean.

I dislike the way they ape features of proper luxury and midrange watches and then amalgamate them together in this kind of hodge-podge of un-matching features. The one on the left is the nearest passable, the centre one looks like a copy of a Tag Heuer Indy 500 built by a blind man whilst someone described it down a particularly crackly phone line, and the one on the right looks like something you'd find in a giant Kinder Surprise.
